So I walked the streets, wondering about, looking for a bookstore I had heard of once. But, my current state was dreamlike, as visions of the Emperors of old flickered through my mind, I forgot the directions to and even the name of the bookshop. Night fell, and darkness triumphed, until I found myself in an intersection, looking up from my dream at a woman of pale hair and of pale complexion. Her wicked grin betrayed he interests; this wasn't going to end well for at least one of us. I let out an audible sigh. She was 25 meters, perhaps one or two more, away from me. I moved my hands together in front of me. Let come what may.

The woman placed me in a bit of a bind, or I assumed it was her. She caused my sleeves to move and to bind my hands behind my back. I noticed, however, that all the emphasis and force was on my sleeves. She was doing something else up there, but for the moment I had my thoughts preoccupied. I shrugged repeatedely; not trying to escape, but trying to move the garment over my hands. Its not too hard to shrug off a robe, and I'm sure I could do it in a movement or to. With that as so, my hands would be bound relative to a movable and moving piece of fabric. No matter how strong her grip, I was now in control of the parts of the fabric which she had not yet controlled.

Her handseals finsihed, and I felt woozy, but I could take it. Perhaps I was drunk? No, I don't remember drinking. Regardless, I assume that what I feel is the aftereffects of a failed Genjutsu. If so, my triumpth is certain.

She stood there gawking for a while, which I used to seize the moment. With powers from my mind, I would meld my chakra into my eyes, making them change and grow and glow icy blue, and I would stare into her soul, hoping to captivate her. There was no way she could move, she would be forced to stand right where she was immortalised in her inevitable death by my technique. This would buy me lots of time if it were succesful.

Description: Affects 1 living creature. The user is able to perform this technique at a distance of 7 meters plus 6 meters per class level. The duration of this technique lasts for 5 rounds per class level. This technique may be negated. Each round the user may target a single living creature. It must make a save or be frozen in place. Frozen creatures are entitled to an additional save if attacked, but this provides no immunity to the gaze. A creature that has been immobilized with a freezing glance, then restored to motion after an attack, can still be the target of the same Freezing Glance in a later round. Though the gaze attack ends rather quickly, frozen creatures remain immobile for 5 minutes per class level. In some cases, this can cause serious damage through exposure to the elements.
