But for some reason, ever since he had the encounter with the witch a few minutes ago, he has found that he cannot tolerate the sight of blood. This is a terrible affliction for the man, as he is a seasoned warrior. Something has to be done, but first he has to get away from his friend who is bleeding profusely… By means of this Jutsu, the user is able to implant some deep-seated phobia in the target. The object of the phobia is determined by the user from the following list: Crowds, Darkness, Enclosed Spaces, Heights, Chakra, Water, Blood, Monsters (specific), Animals (specific), Opposite Sex, Open Spaces, Fire or Germs.

I left my home dressed in my norm, a white shirt of silk partially covered by the coat of black silk and black slacks along with it. I passed through the night, a shadow among those mortals that no longer feared the creatures that haunt the night. Perhaps it was time again that they learned to fear the darkness, a task suited to one such as myself with the perfect technique to latch onto the mind and create new fears where they are lacking. I walked along the streets, parting from my home for the time being, and once a sufficient distance it was time to find my prey.
A simple technique was all that was required, though the ever annoying requirement for hand seals was present, a method that I find wholly unappealing. Still, I must do what must be done and in future then perhaps I will find a method of at least reducing the annoyance of them. For now I allowed my fingers to dance through a series of symbols while power flowed throughout my vampiric form. An energy that all creatures possessed, yet very few could harness to its fullest, or even at all. That power crashed in a torrent within my form, guided and shaped by the spiritual touch given by myself.
I directed that power and shaped it within myself while silvery eyes gazed about the streets for an unwitting victim of the fear that I was about to create for them. Eyes searching, fingers moving, power molding within, I had one other task before me for the perfection of the ability. The fear itself. It would be simple enough to give the woman a fear of myself, but that was not my goal, they were to fear the creatures of the night themselves rather than simply one. Well, perhaps a common fear of the dark would give an individual a greater appreciation for that which lives within the shadows.
Deciding upon this I spotted a female standing beneath a lamp that lit the street and as the fear was infused into the shape of my power as I strode over to her. As I walked the zodiac symbols my fingers wove through ceased and the power welled up in the palm of my hand. Reaching ever so slightly I snatched up the woman's wrist and the power flowed into her body, passing through pearly flesh as though it were not there. With honeyed words I lead the female away from that bright light and guided her into steadily increasing shadows.
As the light was fading I observed the increase in agitation, the fading light was creating more of the fear that I fed into her psyche. It was critical that I observe the fear that was allowed to take root, and so I brought her into an alley, one filled with a darkness black as pitch. I could see it in her eyes, the fear, the horror, the still shadows before her that pulsed with life and death. The stench of darkness that filled her nostrils as terror began to take hold of her, the desire to flee building within her body. Excellent.
