Taiya arrived in front of the dojo. She looked it up and down before entering. it was always an interesting building, found in an interesting place. She knocked respectively and stepped inside. The first figure she saw and met eyes with was Miyagi.
"Master Miyagi, I wish to continue my training."
"Very well. Let us begin."
Miyagi walked to the center of the room and awaited Taiya, who respectively stood across from him, standing up straight.
"This is the neutral bow. Mimic me. Do it correctly."
Taiya tried to mimic Miyagi. She positioned her feet as best she could and tried to hold her arms. It was difficult and she nearly fell over when Miyagi stood up straight and walked over to judge her. He walked around her with a grim face. He looked suspicious but Taiya knew better than the break the stance. He came up behind her and fixed her stance so it was perfected.
"Keep this stance! Do not move! Do not break it! Or else..."
The Threat was enough for Taiya to try and keep her stance. She didn't know what she was supposed to do. She couldn't see Master Miyagi, she heard him walking around behind her. A sharp pain came to her side. She was about to falter when she realized this was the test, not to break the stance.
"Do not break the stance. There are.... consequences. During the training of Kenpo you will endure pain. You must learn to endure this minor pain when you least expect it. Especially for you, a shinobi of the Village Hidden in the mist. You will endure pain far worse than this in your lifetime. you must learn how to endure this and ignore it until the very end. Kenpo does not accept slackers or quitters. Are you going to quit?"
As his last words were spoken he leaned in to Taiya's ear. His voice was dark and cool, Taiya felt intimidated. She could only imagine how he must have look like at that moment.
"Very good. You held the stance. Keep going until I say stop."
