First Prayer

Inori always had a connection with being outside. Maybe that is why he father kept her inside most of the time. She enjoyed watching the birds, flowers, and particularly the butterflies bather in her father's garden. She would watch them from the glass windows of their home, and smile to herself, ever so slightly when they would come and kiss the window gently. Often she would press her hand against the window and watch as the butterflies would gather and try to touch her back. Unfortunetly, butterflies cannot come through glass windows.

Today however as she was walking toward the Raikage's tower, her father had been very liberal with her time as of late, saw a few small butterflies flitting lightly by. She instinctively reached out to them, Combing the air with her ebony fingers. Something inside of her just jumped, something that had been planted inside of her. 

Strangely enough ugh as she did this and as that something inside of her heart jumped the butterflies turned around and started flapping towards her. Inori was shocked, not that she let it show. The butterflies flapped and came to her, almost like they were drawn to her. Confused and enjoying this strange turn of events Inori opened her hands and let the butterflies kiss her fingers. She instinctively let out chakra and the butterflies lapped it up gingerly.

How had she known how to do that?! As if from some unknown knowledge she allowed nature, whatever this nature was to ignite interest in the butterflies and extended her chakra around her person, blasting the power outwards from her body. The butterflies followed this chakra, and flew finally quickly in the random directions of the chakra. 

Sad ad to see them go, Inori's soft heart called the sweet little bugs back to her. As if on que the butterflies turned tail and returned to her. All three of them landing softly on her hand, nose, and ear respectively. 

They listened to her?! Inori was perplexed and yet elated. Her knees touching and her hands lightly moving in excitement. Overcome with the shear joy of not being alone, something she had not felt in years. Wanting to see it they would stay with her, she took a hesitant step forward. The butterflies stayed. Against she took a faster step forward, resulting in the same thing. Nothing. The butterflies did not move but obeyed her heart.

Inori then willed the butterflies to follow her and she took off int he direction of the tower. They butterflies clung to her and being pulled off by her initial bust of speed two of them followed her loyally. Inori smiled to herself, a beautiful bright smile. Her teeth white and her lips grinning from pure joy. The butterflies seemed to share that feeling, that beauty. As she turned a corner, so did the butterflies, as she jumped, on a step and climbed up a roof, so did the butterflies flying to follow her. 

Inori stopped her spinning around and dancing in the breeze with the butterflies. The butterflies in turn dancing around her and flapping gaily. She then sent them to each corner of the building and had them fly in figure eights. They obeyed her every command, they honored her thoughts and listened to her heart. Inori got the feeling it was not from compulsion either, but she gave them a gift of her chakra, and they in turn tried to honor her.

getting a sense that she could now manipulate them, Inori extended her hand and allowed them to flutter back to her. They all rested on her hand and she looked upon them like a mother on her beloved children. A new emotion for Inori, but at the moment she didn't even notice, it just felt right.

Chou Gyuujiru [Butterfly Control]

Effect: Allows the user to control the butterflies called from the surrounding area.
Special: Used in combination with Seiferomon Hikitsukeru.
Drawback: ---
Description: Allows the user to control the butterflies that they call from the area to bend to their will and follow their every command. This training is used in combination with Seiforomon Hikitsukeru. When the user calls upon the butterflies, a small layer of chakra overtakes the body, which in turn will enter the butterfly's body and give the user control over it. This effect may only last for ten turns, at which point, Seiferomon Hikitsukeru must be re-performed.

Seiferomon Hikitsukeru [Pheromone Attract]

Effect: The butterflies the Kitateha has summond emit a pheromone that attracts other butterflies in the surrounding area. To increase their numbers.
Special: "Hand Seals"
Drawback: Cannot be used in Yukigakure or other Arctic climates.
Description: Allows the user to call butterflies from the surrounding area. The Kitateha forms the hand seals and the butterflies inside the user’s body emit a pheromone that attracts all the butterflies in the surrounding area. With this skill the user may call one half of a swarm. This technique may be trained up to ten times, each time being able to call one half a swarm with a maximum of five swarms called.

Inori breathed in and out and came up with a silly idea. Seeing as the butterflies were attracted to the chakra, and she could control the butterflies within reason, wondered if she could call more butterflies to her location. Seeing if she could control and summon more of them to her location. So making a few handsigns, Inori emitted some of her own chakra, calling the butterflies to her.

while the butterflies did indeed started dancing around her dizzy with all the chakra emitted from her body in every direction, not a single butterflies came to her. What had made her previous attempt work so well that she wasn't doing now? So trying again, this time adding more chakra to the pool of this attack, she blasted chakra and hopped to see at least another butterfly flutter to her. yet nothing happened, Inori was deflated. At least she had these three new little friends would hopefully would stick around. She didn't want to be lonely, and these butterflies were sweet. 

As she spoke another butterfly fluttered by and started chasing one of her three new children. The butterfly had not come to her call but somehow the other little flutterby had pulled this new friend to her. Inori reached out and let th new one to her. It clung to her finger and licked up her blue chakra. Inori now had a third little monarch on her team. but wait! If her little butterfly children could call others, then why can't she have them call new butterflies to herself for her? 

Sending the command to the butterflies she gave them a little taste of chakra to reward them again. Suddenly and without warning over fifty little winged creatures started appearing from all direction. White, blue, yellow and off red butterflies from all corners of her sight started appearing. Inori was so proud of her little pretties. 

Again in she let all the new comers whirl around her and kiss her softly. She became their new hive mother, and leader. They trusted her and would oney whatever she said. They rippled and played on her emotions, her happiness was their joy, and her loneliness was their spot to fill. They danced and fluttered around her in a spiral on top of the roof and flew high into the sky. Inori smiled to them all. Was she going crazy? How could a monster like her feel... Inori ripped that emotion away and kicked it under the mat of her mind. 

Again this time she had all her little butterflies call most to her location. This time she made handsigns and sent out more chakra. Combining the smell scent out by the flying ones and her tasty chakra. He blasted the scent wider, calling more to her.

from father now butterflies from all around came flapping, fluttering and inching toward her from everywhere.this time there were too many to count. Nor did she care. Inori called them all the same. She felt for them and they were all connected as she touched them with her yummy chakra. Inori had them rest all over her body, painting her black skin in every color of the rainbow, every part of her being kissed and loved. She never felt so at home before... Never felt so... Connected before.

Ignoring very thing else and becoming honestly fairly oblivious to anything else around her Inori took off down the street and walked with her butterflies. Walked until she could herself in a clearing, where the people were not so crowded like the part of town where she had been and again used the butterfly calling skill. She made the handsigns and called upon the butterflies to send off their scent.

This time though, she focused on given explicit orders on how far and how much scent to give off. Making it more of a command ability then a chakra based. That way she could in the future use it more often, and hopefully pull the max number of butterflies from any given location.

As she released this ability she had the butterflies spread out and flap their wings. Surprised at the amount of control she could give, and had them spread it as far and as thickly as she could. Soon after buttflies started coming out of the trees and bushes. The feilds and houses that had the cute little critters began to fly toward Inori. Even the little butterflies came up and landed wing to heeding Inori's call. Inori then sent out a thin veil of chakra and fed the new comers. Adding them to her newfound army of winged friends.

With a whole swarm at her fingertips now (250) she felt strong. Like she had been given another arm. Something that felt great, the connectedness with the winged things alive in her contience. She felt for them, the sick ones and the strong young butterflies. All of them vibrant and colorful, and all of them gathered in such a short time.

Lastly, wanting to do something for her butterflies, as time had caught up with her she pulled a seed out of her bag, and walking into an open field tossed a handful of them on the ground. By this point she was acting on instinct alone, as the butterflies had somehow managed to affect her somehow. 

She then had her butterflies take the seeds from her hand, and dust them into the field in front of her. She new somehow that this would be a good thing, but she did it anyway. As the butterflies flitted around she made a few handsigns and pressed her hands to the ground. Her chakra running though the ground, around roots and into the seeds. Her father gave her seeds but never mentioned why, it was not lie they tasted that great, 

Puranto Ninpou: Haeru

Effect: A basic technique of the Ikebana, where the user molds a certain type of chakra to feed it to the clan’s special seeds and make them sprout into flowers. With other techniques, the seeds can grow into different kinds of plants.
Drawback: ---
Special: “Hand Seals”
Description: This is the first clan technique for the members of Ikebana to learn, since it’s needed for many other techniques. The user spreads the needed amount of seeds in the desired area and uses then the hand seals to make the seeds sprout into flowers instantly – almost as soon as the seals have been formed the flowers are ready for use. The seeds will always respond to Haeru chakra, no matter where the seeds are when the technique is used: One bag of the Silene seeds can become a full-sized, flower filled meadow even in sand and snow, or while floating on water. The basic form of Haeru creates red, blue, white and yellow daisies, but by molding their chakra in a slightly different way, the user can also create other kinds of flowers.

As this happened the seeds began to sprout from the soil, slowly at first, their little green heads growing from the loamy ground. Then the chakra pushed the little shoots from the soil faster until they were standing with little leaves just a couple inches above the soil.

Inori growled slightly to herself, this was not what she wanted. So again she made the handsigns and released the chakra into the soil stoking the p,ants to grown even more. She read he chakra into the earth and pushed away debris and rocks so the roots could grow downward, and the tops would mirror that. She pushed and feed the little seedling with her chakra, but still they would only grow so much before buds pumped themselves from the ground. 

Stopping and and concerned that she felt she could do this the brave 20 year old, who had been driven to these little bugs by something inside her was vexed that she could not go where her intuition was taking her. 

So so again making the same three handsigns she slammed her palms into the ground, he butterflies jumping in alarm at the anger and fierce chakra coming from her hands. A few whirled above her, But none left. She launched her chakra into the ground, driving the energy at the budded plants and then felt something bloom within her.

the bloom rushed into her chakra and flooded the little flowers with something... Wild. That wild feeling rushed over Inori and into the plants. It feed them like a steroid making the buds burst and daisies of every color rip open the empty lot with color. Whites, blues,and yellows dotted the yard. Inori surged her chakra, and reds, oranges and purples popped up. Again she felt the plants and pulled the growth upwards. The flowers spun and raised their heads to the sun. Color exploding into the lot. 

Inori picked up up er hands off of the ground and stood up. The wild energy still in the air, her head beaded with sweat and tended with focus. She then comtacted the little children like creatures and released them onto the field. The butterflies reluctantly obeyed, all but three, the three she had started with, the three she had pulled not an hour ago. 

She he let them stay, knowing that they were special, and pressed the last but of needed energy into the feild, growing the last bit of the plants in the abandoned lot. Not full of daisies of every color. Her chakra, giving them pollen, and making them perfect for the freed butterflies to eat. They would pollinate and grow well with the butterflies here. She commanded the butterflies to stay and tend to the feild, eating and pollinating to their heart's content. She asked them not to stray far, as she would return, this lot her new little secret. Something she swore to herself she would not let her father know about. He could not tell him about the butterflies or the flowers.

not finished with the lot as she looked at the corners she used the seeds and signs to quickly grow a few more random flora. Names of which she didn't know but allowed to rise with her feild. She feed them that wild chakra in her cheats and  file the power rush out of her body. She felt slightly tired after this as well. 

So so letting the butterflies go about their gay flower loving and the flowers now grown to perfection, or so she thought, she turned around touching the scroll in her pocket, and continued to the Raikage's tower, tree little butterflies flying around her in tow.
