Knowing where to look for bandits was a tough choice, even so for a shinobi but when that shinobi was a 10 year old girl without much of an idea of the world Tomoko had to dig deep to figure out where to find where the scum of the earth would roam. She opted to go for the hint most of the crime comics and shows used to hint at, namely that of those wonderful dive bars but where to find them? Well. Tomoko made a choice. Following her gut. Waiting until it was of a certain time of night, around sunset, she began to make her way to the city, wherever the lights shone the brightest. She tried to find them, bars and such and would slowly make her way towards the scummiest bar she could find.
Although hard to get into, Tomoko had some ideas. Instead of actually entering the bar she would attempt to stay hidden using the shinobi wall technique, a simple E-rank jutsu all academy students knew. Standing outside the bar as it opened she would make note of the gruffer characters that entered and exited the bar. Looking for distinct features.
Biding her time, she knew it would only be a while before somebody or something rather would fit her description. She watched as they entered, broken men and women who at one point had it all lost in the world of war, young men looking for an easy lay, young women looking for something to warm their bed, war veterans looking for a poison to dull the pain of memory. All were equal in this place but what she wished to find, truly find was somebody with an athleticish physique with some semblance of muscle to them amd signs of combat whether that be weapon or perhaps something else.
