Shadow and Bone - Shin vs Aimi

Shin hung from a tree, upside down as he often did. He enjoyed it, giving him a different means to observe the world. To make things even better, it was rare for people to wander this way, leaving him essentially alone to his own thoughts. 

The clearing that he watched was fairly open, with long grass that came up to the boy's ankles. Trees sprouted up along the edges, and stretched out far beyond if one cared to travel past the threshold. The sun pierced sporadically through the leaves overhead, the mingled canopy creating a halo around the patch of light that was the centre of the clearing. 
There ran a narrow path through the middle, a throughfare where the grass was trodden down to the dirt beneath, leaving a dirt scar through the otherwise untouched grass. 

Shin caught movement on the edge of the clearing, a person. He lifted himself back up so he was sitting on the branch. He watched as the person enters the clearing, idly touching his bag to check it was still there. The bag was choke full of shuriken and kunai, 8 kunai, and 60 of each type of Shuriken. His bag was full, and still securely fastened thankfully. 

He swung himself down off the branch, entering the clearing. Whoever this person was, he wanted to find out. 

[Aimi Kaguya]

Walking down the earthen path was a man who seemed to radiate a sort of pressure about him, or at least you might think so by being around him. His stride was confident and sure footed, each step made with a purpose that seemed as if he were making the earth quake beneath his every step. In the mixed shade and sunlight, one could see that he was without a shirt. His hair was long and flowing, reaching down to his lower back and shining golden bright as the daylight. Above his eyebrows towards the center of his forehead were two blood red dots, the symbol of his clan and his family. On each of his wrists were tattooed symbols for summoning items. He was barefoot and wore a white silk sash around his waist that trailed own to his ankles.

He carried nothing within into the clearing and stopped when he was at the edge of it, seeing someone in the halo off light created by the trees. The clearing was about ninety meters long and wide each, an almost perfect circle. There were plenty of trees about and the grass beneath his feet felt warm. A gust of wind blew through the trees and sent some loose fling leaves scattering about. Aimi didn't know who this person was or what the were doing there, but they had come out into the clearing roughly the same time as he did. Perhaps they were some sort of bandit who knew not who he was.

"Move," he said simply, loud enough that the person could hear and yet with a strange gentleness to it that was all at once calm and stern. "I am Aimi Kaguya, and I will not be stopped from advancing by you." It wasn't a threat and it wasn't an introduction. It was simply an announcement, one that he waited to see if this stranger heeded or not.

The man introduced himself as a Kaguya. Shin knew that name, one he'd heard several times. For half a moment, he considered turning and leaving then and there. A Kaguya could be bad news, best not leave it to chance.

And yet...

Shin found his feet rooted to the floor, his hand clear from anything that could be taken as hostile. He gave the stranger his turn to speak, before taking his own. "I do not wish to hinder you, I simply seek an answer to my question. What brings you through these woods?"

He took a step forward, before stopping again. "I am Shikashin Nara, of the Village Hidden in the Leaves. If I may be so bold, I have always wanted to test my mettle against a Kaguya... Would you oblige me to a sparring match? A simple friendly clash to test both our skills?"

Even before the man answers, he shifts his feet, gaining solid ground, his eye unconsciously checking the light around him.

[Aimi Kaguya]

"I seek merely to pass through. That is all," Aimi told him, staying stock still and holding his ground. He stayed still even as the man stepped forward and introduced himself as a member of the Nara clan, a clan he was friends with and had even learned from. He relaxed a bit knowing that he would not likely attack an honorary clansman. His request to have a spar with him was interesting though. How long had it been since he'd had a real spar? Not something where he was fighting for his life or seeking to end another... just a sheer test of skill?

Intrigued, Aimi spread his arms out to his side and took a step backwards with his left foot, bowing his head slightly in a formal gesture. "I accept," he told Shikashin, standing up straight again and clapping his hands together into a string of hand signs. Crouching down, he touched the ground at his feet and a puff of smoke appeared, temporarily masking his presence. It didn't last more than a second though as the smoke cleared, revealing that Aimi had merely summoned a couple of items which were filled with swords.

Standing back up straight, the two large sword cases in hand, Aimi looked back across the field at his sparring opponent. Without taking his eyes off of him, he slung both of his arms up into the air, dragging the cases with him, sending the forty swords in total flying all around the clearing, landing in seemingly haphazard places and angles, some on the ground, others in trees, but everyone one of them within about 5 meters of one another and completely covering the field. Each of the swords had a seal writ upon the handles. While it might have looked to the Nara that this was an attack in of itself, Aimi was in perfect control of where these blades would land - so practiced was he with the technique.

Dropping the cases on the ground beside him, Aimi reached out with his right hand and took a hold of the hilt of a blade and simply held on to it. "The field is set, I'm ready to begin when you are," he called out to Shikashin, waiting now for him to react and do something, already feeling excitement well up in him over this spar.

Kuchiyose no Jutsu (Bbujiekuto) (Summoning Technique (Object))

Effect: A summoning technique that allows the user to summon an object/weapon/puppet the same rank and one rank above as the rank the user knows in the technique.

Drawback: Must have a scroll and seal.
Description: Picture 1-A; Picture 1-B, Picture 1-A; Picture 1-B A technique where the user uses a seal on a Scroll to summon an object they have. The object who is being summoned must have the same seal as well in order to be summoned. User is unable to summon where other seals are located. The Person is the medium and you need that person in order to bring someone in. Once the object has been summoned the seal disappears. In order to summon an object “E” Rank or “D“ Rank, user must learn “E” Rank Kuchiyose no Jutsu (Bbujiekuto) (Summoning Technique (Object)). In order to summon an object “C” Rank and “B“ Rank, user must learn “C” Rank Kuchiyose no Jutsu (Bbujiekuto) (Summoning Technique (Object)). Mugen Katana no Jutsu (Infinite Sword Attack)

Effect: User takes hold of a Multiple Sword Holster and hurls all of the blades inside up into the air before the fall straight down to the ground with the blades sticking the ground.
Special: ---
Drawback: Must have a Multiple Sword Holster with 20 swords inside.
Description: User holds onto a Multiple Sword Holster and flicks the holster upwards which releases all of the blades high into the sky approximately 15 meters before it rains back down to the ground. The blades stab into the ground within a distance of 20 meters by 20 meters. When the user first learns this technique they are unable to predict where the swords will land, however when used the next version they are able to accurately allow where a blade will land.
Limit: Must have Mastered Santōryū Attacks (三刀流, Three Swords Style), Must learn from a master of Santōryū (三刀流, Three Swords Style)

Hiraishin Placement

Skill: Fuuinjutsu
Effect: Places the Hiraishin Seal on an object or person.
Special: Handseals
Drawback: The seal only functions in a one kilometer radius. Requires 150 TP to learn.
Description: The user forms the hand seals, gathering chakra to their hands and then quickly inscribing the incantation and then seal. The seal then begins to transmit a micro chakra signal. This technique, though difficult to learn, only takes up chakra similar to a C rank technique.
Limit: Must learn from Alexander, Kaiser, or Izumi.

Multiple Sword Holster

Description: A One-Handed Weapon. These weapons do +8 Amour Points of Damage. A longsword (also spelled long sword, long-sword) is a type of sword characterized as having a cruciform hilt with a grip for two handed use and a straight double-edged blade of around 100–122 cm (39–48 in). The longsword is characterised not so much by a longer blade, but by a longer grip, which indicates a weapon designed for2-handed use or 1-handed use. Examples of Longswords: Katana, Jian, Tachi, Scimitr, Shinai, and Waster.
Limit: These items may be bought inside any Weapon Shop.

Shin's eyes tracked a number of the swords as they fell, taking note of their sporadic placement. It wasn't an attack, that much was obvious. If it had been, he'd likely be dead, or at the very least injured. Yet every one had missed. That was either deliberate or clumsy.

Then he noted the symbols noted on one sword, not far from his foot. It seemed this was part of a larger jutsu. Shin filed this piece of information, before raising his eyes back to his opponent. This would be interesting...

He sent his shadow out, narrow tendrils that would be difficult to make out in the shifting grass. He sent them to the swords around him, letting his shadow touch them and connect.

Then, he starting forming handseals. When he was done, he inhaled deeply, before letting go a massive gout of flame from his mouth.

Kageyose no Jutsu, 影寄せの術 (Shadow Summoning Technique)
Rank: "A" Rank

Special: "Hanseals"
Drawback: Once the technique is activated, the user must control the tendrils with motions of their hands, while the Kagemane is still active the entire time. Thus, if the person caught within it controls a puppet, they could accidentally activated it move.
Description: After capturing a target with the Shadow Imitation Technique, the user forms a simply string of hand seals. The user then, summons shadowy tendrils from their opponent's shadow, controlling them in the same manner as Shadow Sewing, but from the opponent's body instead of the user's. This could be used to stab the opponent, remove things from the person without having to risk removing it from yourself, (As the Kagemane makes the user and captive act in sync) or block projectiles. The Tendrils are no stronger then that of skin, and thus are pierced and such very easily, and don;t hold that well, however get the job done.
Limit: Nara Clan Technique, Must know Shadow Choke Neck Bind, Must have knowledge of the Shadow Imitation Technique "A" Rank.



Katon - Goukakyuu no Jutsu (Great Fireball Technique)

Skill: NinJutsu

Effect: The user is capable of performing a few handseals in which gives them the capability of blowing a large body of fire in size of a large sphere that has great fire proportions and explosive capabilities.

Special: "Handseals"

Drawback: Depending on the Rank, is dependent on how strong or how much the user is capable of doing with the Goukakyuu no Jutsu.

Description: The user quickly performs a few handseals. The user then places the hand over their mouth creating a small like circle. This technique in turn is then to help the user control the great flame. The use then blows out and creates a large fireball that twice the size of a normal human body. When the "C" Rank version is first learned the user is only capable of blowing out the Great Fireball that is cannot be moved or go anywhere else. This also means that the technique does not explode in a fiery explosion, but burns greatly to anyone that is caught within the technique. When the user learns the "B" Rank version then the user is capable blowing the Great Fireball into the distance, sending it away from the use it to hurl towards the very opponent. This technique is only capable of going into a straight line and this is capable of having the size three times the size of a human body. This technique when launched at an opponent then becomes dangerous because at this point the technique can explode causing damage that is even more devastating.

Limit: Must have the Fire Release

[Aimi Kaguya]

Aimi watched as the Nara man formed his hand signs and took in a breath, a clear sign of a fire style jutsu. He kept still and waited for the man to lean forward and exhale, sending a massive ball of flame in his direction. He continued to wait until the last second possible, when he could see nothing but the fire and feel it's heat beginning to envelope him, before he teleported away from his position at one end of the clearing and across to the other end in a flash, and instantaneous movement. He appeared next to another one of his blades and he reached out and took a hold of it.

"Not bad, but it was very obvious. A forward attack. That's not like a Nara to make a forward attack," he commented, wanting to get Shikashin's attention if he hadn't already noticed he had vanished from his original position. "You said you wanted to test yourself against a Kaguya, and so I'm inclined to not hold back. You should be inclined to do the same, or else you're not going to come anywhere close to beating me."

Having said that, Aimi took a tight grip of his blade and withdrew it from the earth with utterly blinding speed, sending a wave of condensed air towards Shikashin that could easily cause some serious damage if not dodged or blocked somehow. Likely he'd have to dodge it, but he might have something to block it for all Aimi knew. There was a good amount of distance between the two of them, so he'd have a few moments in between when he stopped talking and when he actually attacked to react. All the while, Aimi kept his eyes on his opponent, watching what they were doing.

After launching his attack, he simply replaced the blade into the earth, returning it into the sheath that was the earth itself to him.

Hiraishin Senkou (Flying Thunder God Flash)

Skill: Ninjutsu
Effect: Teleports the user instantly to the Hiraishin seal.
Special: "1 Hand Seal is used. The Tiger"
Drawback: Requires intense concentration, the user may potentially place themselves in a dangerous situation. Seal only functions in a one kilometer radius. Requires 300 TP to learn.
Description: The user forms the tiger seal, synchronizing their chakra with the signal from the seal. The seal will in turn activate, and the incantation will transmit the user via a packet of pure, high frequency chakra to the seal in the blink of an eye. The user reforms and is in whole once again, exactly as they were in their original location. Known as one of the deadliest assassination techniques in existence, the Hiraishin is also one of the most difficult to learn. Despite it's difficulty, however, it only consumes chakra like a B ranked technique.
Limit: Must known Hiraishin Placement. Must learn from Alexander, Kaiser, or Izumi.

Keihatsu Ryuu: Kamae Nushi (Posture Master)

Skill: TaiJutsu
Effect: The user has become so proficient with Busōsen (Arms Flash) they may perform techniques from various postures.

Drawback: ---
Description: Some practitioners of Busōsen (Arms Flash) have their blades sheathed horizontally across their lower back. Some practitioners of Busōsen (Arms Flash) have their blades sheathed vertically across their back. It does not matter where the blade is sheathed, as long as it may be pulled and sheathed back the user is able to perform a Battōjutsu from that position.
Limit: Must learn from a Master of Busōsen (Arms Flash). Must have Mastered Busōsen (Arms Flash).

Keihatsu Ryuu: Ryusen (Dragon Strike)

Effect: User takes a step back and cuts the air in front of them through a dimensional rift in a sphere shape.

Description: Picture The user stands in the Keihatsu Ryuu: Battōjutsu no Kamae (Art of Drawing the Blade Posture). Grabbing the handle of the sword near the Tsuba, the user thereafter steps forward with the front leg while unsheathing the blade in a horizontal attacking motion across the body. So swift is this technique that it is akin to a "flash", taking no movements to perform. When striking, the user is able to use air itself to slice enemies, focusing a current of wind, to the point where it takes on a sharp edge, which the user launches at foes. Upon sheathing the sword, the user must sacrifice a movement to do so.
Limit: Must learn from a Master of Busōsen (Arms Flash). Must know Keihatsu Ryuu: Battōjutsu (Art of Drawing the Blade).

Now the guy was behind him. So he was right, this was part of another Jutsu. It seemed the swords acted like markers, a means to transport from one place to another.

Shin saw the man retrieve a sword, and swing it, sending a shockwave of air rushing toward Shin. He carries out motions with his hands, using the shadow he'd previously connected to the swords to remove them from the ground, and hurl them at the man in a flurried motion.

Then, as the shockwave drew nearer, he channeled chakra into his hands, and after making the necessary handseals, quickly struck the ground, sending up a wave of fire to act as a barrier against the attack.

Fire Style: Fire Barrier Technique
Rank: C
Skill: Ninjutsu
Effect: Creates a small wall of fire, no thicker than a foot, no taller than five feet, and no longer than thirty feet, in front of the user.
Special: Snake, Dog, Monkey, Rabbit, Ram, Horse, Tiger, placing hands on the ground.
Drawback: The user must place their hands on the ground for a total of three seconds. If they are moved before the spark can occur, then the technique will fail and the user will lose whatever chakra was spent before the technique failed.
Description: The user performs the handseals, creating a large amount of heat within their hands. They then rapidly slam their hands onto the ground, sending that chakra into the dimensions listed earlier. The chakra moves quickly, covering that ground within three seconds time. At that point, the fire will spark, creating a wall of fire that will burn as long as it is able to. If used in an area with other combustible materials, the fire is capable of spreading through them as well.

[Aimi Kaguya]

Aimi was glad to have gotten more of a reaction out of Shikashin, prompting him to not only defend against his strike but to counter attack as well. The moment that his attack made contact with the wall of flames, two of his own swords came flying at him, one blade sent out a bit further than the other, enough distance between the two that he could defend himself without even moving. With just the slightest effort, he raised his right arm out in front of him as one of his swords came within reach and caught it by the handle, almost as if it wanted to be caught all along.

With a second blade coming though, Aimi released his grip on the blade and let it drop to the ground while simultaneously lifting up his left arm. He caught the second sword as well, though this one by the blade, the very tip of which was a mere couple of inches away from his face. For the briefest of moments, his focus was on that tip before returning to the Nara. "Using the environment and my own weapons against me... resourceful," the Kaguya commented, pulling his hands apart and letting the blade fall into the ground right in front of him, giving him three swords in immediate reach.

"Trying to use my own taijutsu against me won't work though. I'm too quick, I'm too adapt for you... or maybe not..." Stepping out from behind his swords, Aimi slowly walked forward towards Shikashin and stopped when he was about thirty meters away from him. There, he stood up straight and turned his body to the side, moving his right arm behind his back and his left arm out in front of him, palm flat and angled upwards. His left foot was facing forward and his right was parallel to his body, his standard taijutsu stance.

"Come, show me your taijutsu," he invited calmly. He stayed in his position, waiting for the Nara to come to him.

Haaku Burēdo (Catching Blade)

Effect: A technique that allows the user to maneuver and catch blades by the handle at high speeds.
Special: ---
Drawback: ---
Description: A defensive technique used to stop opponents from taking advantage with the swords around them. From time to time opponents would take swords lying around and throw them to the user as a distraction. This technique stops such actions. Whenever a blade is hurled to the user they are able to maneuver and catch the sword by the handle. User may learn this up to 4 times. Each time learned the user is able catch 1 blade per movement giving a maximum of catching 4 blades per movement all together. This technique may work with any kind of blade with a handle, as well as arrows/bolts.
Limit: Must have Mastered Santōryū Attacks (三刀流, Three Swords Style), Must learn from a master of Santōryū (三刀流, Three Swords Style)

Shinken Shirahatori (真剣　白刃獲り?, Taking a true naked sword)

Skill: TaiJutsu
Effect: A technique where the user catches an enemy's blade with their bare hands.
Special: ---
Drawback: ---
Description: The user is able to match the distance and speed of an opponent's blade as they are able to quickly slam their hands together at the right moment as the user can catch the blade. The user is able to catch any blade possible with this technique. However a user must be mindful because some blades could still harm a user such as a blade that releases electrical currents or a flaming blade. This technique may be used with anything that is longer than two feet.
Limit: Must learn from a master of Santōryū (三刀流, Three Swords Style)

Goutetsu no Kamae #1 (Strong Iron Stance #1)

Effect: A simple upright stance used with most Goutetsu 轟鉄 (Strong Iron) Practitioners.

Description: Picture Standing with one arm behind their back and one extended, the user is ready for a quick strike with their fists and feet. This leaves them open for quick spins and jumps that will power their attacks.
Limit: Must learn from a Master of Goutetsu 轟鉄 (Strong Iron)

Shin paused a moment at the man's request. A Taijutsu clash? It wasn't his strongest area, but...

He drew his blade, and let it hang down, so the end kissed at the grass. Then, after shifting his balance ever so slightly, he kicked off from the ground, pushing himself toward the Kaguya, sending the sheathe and blade at his feet and head respectively.

Protegera Uyauyashii Stance

Skill: Taijutsu
Effect: Allows the user to use Protegera unsheathed techniques.

Drawback: --
Description: The user hold the unsheathed katana ready in their main hand, with the point facing forward. They grip the sheath at the base, holding it almost as though it were a sword, with the point facing sideways, across the chest.
Limit: Must learn from a Protegera Tatsujin or higher.

[Aimi Kaguya]

Aimi watched calmly as his opponent drew his blade and charged at him. He couldn't help but frown and narrow his eyes a bit - it seemed obvious to him that he wasn't very adapt in taijutsu and lacked discipline, otherwise he would have come at him barehanded rather than with a weapon drawn; nor would he have made such an obvious, frontal attack. Perhaps the man simply wasn't very accustomed to combat in general? It hardly mattered in the end; he'd requested a spar from Aimi and a spar is what he was going to get - no holding back.

Waiting for his opponent get deathly close to him, Aimi would take a step forward just as the Nara was swinging his blade, placing his right foot in between both of his opponents' feet. He spun around, twisting his body and stepping around Shin so that he was standing behind him! He'd strike then, closing his ring and pinkie fingers on his right hand while simultaneously thrusting forward, his aim intent on Shin's right shoulder blade and his fingers having enough strength within them to easily pierce his flesh and bone.

Not stopping there though, Aimi would move his left arm out from behind his back and proceed to make a series of strikes against Shin, assaulting his body internally in various was. First, he'd bring his left arm around wide and strike Shin's side, just bellow the ribs - the Twenty Fifth Meridian of the Gall Bladder. His strike would send a shock-wave through Shin's body, damaging his kidneys and causing him to bleed internally, the bleeding eventually exiting out his penis if nothing were done about it. Second, he moved his left hand back, down and forward only a few centimeters before unleashing a second strike with only enough force to make Shin's entire torso be wracked with pain - not nearly enough to kill him. Lastly, he would pull his right two fingers out of shin's shoulder and fall his hand into a fist, thrusting forward quickly to strike between his shoulders and making his fist quiver so that when his strike landed, it would cause the internal organs within Shin's body to shake as well.

His last strike would be hard enough to send him sprawling forward and away from Aimi. Should any of his attacks hit him, they could potentially be devastating to thee fight. Shin would need to find a way to counter his quick assault and make a counter of his own somehow, or else suffer no less than four strikes. Should any of his attacks hit while others miss, Aimi would jump backwards and keep within his initial stance - right hand forward, palm flat, right foot forward, left foot horizontal, left arm behind his back.

Kouho and Haiho (扣歩・擺歩, Kouho and Haiho)

Effect: When an opponent attacks, you circle around his side, and appear behind him.
Special: ---
Drawback: ---
Description: When someone attacks with their right hand, put your right foot behind their left, with your two feet pointing towards each other. After that, follow up with your left foot, circle behind your opponent's left side and you appear behind the opponent. This can be followed by a throw; when behind the opponent's rear, hit their neck with your right arm, and put your right leg behind their legs. You should not necessarily hit the opponent's neck too severely, as the opponent will have lost their balance already depending on the speed of the attack, not the strength of it.

Yi Zhi Jingang Fa (Diamond Finger)

Effect: The method of "Diamond Finger" is a hard exercise that strengthens the external components. It belongs to the hard force of Yang. When the exercise attains its aim, it is possible to knock a hole in the chest with a finger and injure the internal organs. When mastering this exercise, one should train daily along a wall, or a tree trunk. Other objects may be used as well.

Description: It is necessary to strike with the forefinger at a wall or other objects, starting with a slight blow and increase the force gradually. Do not interrupt and do not stop training. It is the first stage on the path of mastership. The skin tears off as the muscles and sinews swell and hurt. It is however necessary to continue training for a long time without any hesitation and doubts. The soft skin becomes hard. After dedication of learning and training the finger will become like a tree trunk. If one strikes at some object with their finger a visible finger print is left on it. A blow at a wood can make it hollow from within as a blow along stone can break it. A blow along human contact may inflict a serious wound. Train this exercise diligently and concentrate the efforts only on one matter as the skill will become perfect. One must train within both fingers to make them both perfect.

Effect: Located on the lateral sides of the abdomen, on the lower border of the free end of the twelfth rib.

Description: As this is a 'mu' point for the kidneys any strike here will affect the kidneys. This point in particular will cause great kidney damage when struck from the side, more-so than when the kidneys are struck from the lower back area. (Traditional kidney strike). From the side, the strike sets up a shock wave which damages the kidneys. Struck hard, will cause death through kidney failure, light to moderate strikes will cause bleeding from the penis and great pain in the kidney area. It is difficult to get an electrical reaction from this point. Medical Purposes - Local point for pain in the lumbar a/or lateral costal region especially when presenting with a Kidney deficiency. Kidney Meridian/ Spleem Meridian Issues involving dampness - diarrhea (esp. watery/cold), bloating, abdominal distention. Diuretic point - urinary retention, difficult urination, edema. Uterine stones - assists passage.

Description: Causes the whole central torso to be shocked with pain in the gall bladder area, hard enough will cause death. This strike will cause the heart to stop. Medical Purposes - GB 26: Daimai (Girdle Vessel), GB 27: Wushu (Five Pivots) & GB 28: Weidao (Meeting Path) are all useful points on the Dai Mai meridian which influences the Gall Bladder Meridian, Kidney Meridian, Chong Mai, Conceptor Meridian & Governing Vessel Meridians. GB 26: Daimai (Girdle Vessel) is most useful for women's issues - leukorrhea from any etiology, gynecological disorders, prolapses, infertility. Menstrual related pains, cramping, bloating a/or migraines. Local point for the lower back and waist.

Douyou Kobushi (Shaking Fist)

Effect: Punching out with their palm, the attacker quivers the palm before hitting in order to do more damage.

Description: Upon striking the opponent, one makes their fist vibrate slightly before impact to do more damage than a regular punch could do. This punch’s secret is in the vibration causing the internal organs to be vibrated/shocked. The internal organs shake and move around due to the violent vibration within the attack.

Shin found the man suddenly behind him, his back exposed. He pivoted on his heel, spinning himself around and bringing both of his weapons about in defence. Before he could get around however was the strike to his shoulder.

He brought both his blade and sheathe together into a "v" shape, to knock the man's hand away. Then came the strike toward his side, which using both his weapons in an "=" stance, he swung at the man's incoming arm to deflect its course. From there came two further strikes. The first he brought his weapons together to form a inverted "v" again seeking to deflect the attack aside. Now that he had made his rotation the man was once again in front of him, making use of the Narabi style to defend against this final attack. As soon as the onslaught was over, he kicked off from the ground, seeking some distance.

Once he had a little distance, he dashed at the Kaguya again. This time however, just as he came within range, he shifted his direction, making so he slid around to the side. He tossed his sword and sheathe at the man, before he made his direction change, then bringing his hands up to form handseals.

As soon as he was done, he sent his shadow racing toward the man, using the close proximity to try and trap him.

Kagemane no Jutsu (Shadow Imitation Technique)

Effect: The Kagemane no Jutsu (Shadow Imitation Technique) allows the user to extend their shadow on any surface, including water, and as far as they know and as long as there is sufficient area.
Special: "Holds Rat Seal" Technique performs after length of normal handseals.
Drawback: Tiring to use repeatedly. The ability is subject to some form of diminishing return and decreases in potency after repeated use. If the user is low on chakra, the performance rate of the technique also deteriorates. Insufficient lightning will make the technique less effective. A particularly strong opponent can also resist the shadow's forced imitation. May only change directions within the span of 60 degrees. When retracting the technique it may only retract by retracing where it has gone.
Description: Once the user's shadow comes in contact with the target's shadow, the two merge and the target is forced to imitate the user's movements. The user and the target could both throw a kunai. It is recommended to keep all weapons in areas where they normally don't keep them.
First Learned user uses technique up to 10 meters. Each time learned gains an extra 10 meters. (Current Level 20 metres)
After 50 meters user must train an extra 10 TP per tech - TP Does not go down by Class Level.

[Aimi Kaguya]

The moment that Shin turned around and raised his blade to deflect his hand, a strike which could have cut him, Aimi let his body react appropriately, new bones jutting out from his skin and blocking the strike although his arm was still deflected. The same was said for the rest of his attacks as well, each one deflected but also defended against with his bones. Aimi used this chance to try and study what type of swordplay Shin was using - it wasn't one he was familiar with, but it seemed to rely on using the sword and the sheath for offense and defense. He made a note to himself about this as Shin jumped back away from him.

As the Nara dashed forward towards him again, Aimi resumed his fighting stance, retracting his bones into his body as he did so. When Shin threw his sword and sheath at him, Aimi simply stepped to the side to dodge it, not even bothering to catch it this time. He kept his eyes on his opponent, watching him as he weaved together a string of hand signs: a string of hand signs that he knew. The sword and sheath had obviously been meant as a distraction - the shadows were the real threat. Fortunately for him though, the clearing was very bright and would let him see where the shadows were coming from. He could dodge them... at least for a little while, depending on his range.

In his first maneuver to get out of the way of his shadows, Aimi jumped backwards through the air about fifteen meters and landed on top of one of his swords sticking up out of the ground, perfectly balanced on the pommel with one foot. Knowing that fifteen meters was nothing for a Nara's range, Aimi jumped even further back one sword at a time until he was clear across the other side of the clearing from Shin, using a total of three jumps to get that far.

Now stood on top of one of his swords, he decided to go on the counter attack. Folding his hands together into a quick string of handseals. His own shadow shot forth, slightly extended by his position on top of the blade, and it weaved in and out of the many shadows of the swords he'd scattered about, rapidly making its way over towards Shin and his shadow. He wondered who would get caught first, or if Shin might break his jutsu in an attempt to dodge his.

Kage Manipurye (Shadow Manipulation)

Effect: Allows the user to control their shadows with a greater finesse.
Special: Requires a certain amount of TP within Nara Clan Jutsu.

Description: As the Nara Clan member dedicates time and effort into learning and using the Shadow techniques of the clan, the user gains a much greater understanding and finesse in the art of controlling their shadows. Such is the case that their speed, strength, and the ability to stretch their shadow out even further becomes available to the user. The more techniques of the Nara Clan that the user possesses, the higher this capability will rise.
"C" Rank- When this rank of the technique is obtained, the user's holding capability with Kagemane increases by 30%, meaning that the amount of time before the opponent is capable of breaking out increases by 30%. The speed of the shadow is increased marginally, so that it is still seen and capable of easily being dodged. Increases the distance that the user is capable of extending their shadow out by 5 meters for every rank of Difficulty Class that the user has obtained, starting from "D" Rank.
"B" Rank- When this rank of the technique is obtained, the user's holding capability with Kagemane increases by 40%, meaning that the amount of time before the opponent is capable of breaking out increases by 40%. The speed of the shadow is increased noticeably, so that it is still seen but moves at speeds that might rival a Taijutsu Specialist of the same difficulty class as the user. Increases the distance that the user is capable of extending their shadow out by 10 meters for every rank of Difficulty Class that the user has obtained, starting from "D" Rank.
"A" Rank- When this rank of the technique is obtained, the user's holding capability with Kagemane increases by 50%, meaning that the amount of time before the opponent is capable of breaking out increases by 50%. The speed of the shadow is increased dramatically, so that it is difficult to see as it darts forward to capture the opponent. The speed becomes fast enough that is is said to be capable of rivaling the speed of a Taijutsu Master of the same difficulty Class as the user. Increases the distance that the user is capable of extending their shadow out by 20 meters for every rank of Difficulty Class that the user has obtained, starting from "D" Rank.

Limit: "C" Rank requires 500 TP in Nara Clan Jutsu. "B" Rank Requires 750 TP in Nara Clan Jutsu. "A" Rank requires 1,000 TP in Nara Clan Jutsu. Once the user reaches the TP requirement, they gain this ability automatically.

Shin's eyes widened as he saw his own Clan's techniques being used by his opponent. He didn't know quite how strong this man was, but he didn't want to find out. If their shadows met in this manner, all bets were off, and it could potentially end badly for Shin.

Releasing the jutsu, he recalled his shadow, leaping backward to increase the distance between them. He made a series of small kickoffs, each one propelling him further back, and increasing the distance to some distance of meters. Once he'd put the distance of majority of the clearing between him and the Kaguya, he snapped together handseals, inhaling deeply. When he exhaled, he tilted his head back, allowing the wave of fire to rush up into the air, lighting the clearing to remove the shadows.

Once his jutsu was complete, he would speak to the man. "Well, I didn't expect to see my own Clan's jutsu turned against me."

He sniffed, thumbing at his nose as he did so, dropping down into a squat. "I'm almost out of Chakra, but I've got room for one more... Tell me, Aimi Kaguya, before we call this... How fast can you move?"

With that, he started forming handseals again.

Katon - Ryuuka no Jutsu (Dragon Fire Technique)

Skill: NinJutsu
Effect: The user quickly performs a large creation of blinding fire into the form of a large Dragon form. The Dragon must be used in the same concept as the Goukakyuu no Jutsu in which must be thrown by placing a hand in a circle form over the mouth of the user.
Special: "Handseals"
Drawback: This type of technique is better used if the opponent is bonded down and unable to be moved.
Description: A Large creation is created as the user performs the necessary handseals for the technique. As the user does so they raise their hand up over their mouth. By taking in a deep, breathe the user fills their lungs with chakra to in, which ignites the moment they blow out air. As the user blows out the creation of fire is made taking the form of a giant dragon like creature. The Dragon is quickly hurled towards the opponent as the dragon swivels and swerves moving like that of a Chinese Dragon. When first learned the Dragon does not explode forth but the very flames oozes out spreading out in all directions that would wrap around the opponent in a blaze of glory. When the user learns the "B" Rank version the user is capable of pushing so much power into the technique to where when it touches the target it is needed it is ignited in a mass blaze of glory, creating a grand explosion.
Limit: Must have the Fire Release

Kirin (麒麟)
Rank: "S"
Skill: NinJutsu
Effect: Kirin is a lightning technique that requires immense amount of chakra. It is an extremely powerful, one-shot technique that strikes in the blink of an eye. The user draws lightning directly from thunder clouds to supplement the power of his or her strike, and controls it with chakra. Because the the technique uses natural lightning as opposed to elemental chakra, its power easily outmatches all other Lightning Releases. Normally, jutsus are limited in power to the amount of chakra capacity any giver person has. Kirin, however, calls on the external lightning, which in terms of a lightning jutsu, makes it far superior to any other.
Special: "Handseals"
Drawback: This is only a one time technique. The user is only capable of performing this technique once, and with that saying must have at least some sort of Chakra still left in their body. Either way the user wont be able to perform high powered techniques after this. The user must take a round of preparation in order to perform this technique. However, the extreme preparation time required also decreases the technique's efficiency. This technique in the absence of active thunder clouds requires Fire Release: Great Dragon Fire Technique or other such techniques to produce the necessary storm conditions to initiate it.
Description: Picture To initiate a lightning storm, and then to take control of lightning in order to guide it to a target while using the shape manipulation shown above. As such, this technique can only be used once in a fight. However, natural lightning can reach a temperature of 30,000 °C, so that even if it misses the target, the sizable blast will likely eliminate the enemy. This technique is quite strong as it is capable of puncturing through great defenses of "S" Rank and lower. This technique using the capabilities of cutting, and stabbing in the strongest formulation within Lightning. This technique is capable of pushing through and stabbing through Earth Release defenses with the strength capability of Three "S" Rank techniques. As the technique is shot down from the sky within the created Storm it shoots down towards the opponent as it creates a destructive damage of a hundred meters in a diameter. This technique has an extra knock back of one "S" rank destructive power within fifty meters.

[Aimi Kaguya]

Aimi couldn't help but smile as Shin retreated from his shadow, the moment he began to move he himself stopped moving his shadow and released his seals, his shadow snapping back towards him. Standing a top his blade perfectly straight, his smile turned into a frown as Shin let loose a very specific gout of flame into the air, one that, again, he was familiar with and feared for a dreaded moment that he knew what his opponent was planning - and it wasn't something you used in a friendly spar.

"My name should have been a dead give away," he replied to his first statement. "The Nara keep track of all those who are allowed to learn their techniques for what should be obvious reasons. Apparently, you haven't seen the roster."

Aimi's eyes narrowed into a deathly stare as Shin squatted down and asked him how quickly he could move. His vision was trained on his hands, hoping very much so that he wasn't about to do what he was about to do. When he started, he simply replied. "Faster." He vanished from atop his blade, reappearing some fifteen meters away next to one of his blades. "Than." He vanished again, appearing in front of his sparring partner midway through his hand seals. He raised his blade and finished, "You," before bringing his blade down upon Shin, using the blunt side of the blade so as to not be lethal.

Not finished there, Aimi would grab another of his blades from nearby and make a second strike at Shin's stomach, using the interval of time in between when his first strike made contact with his opponent and the pain registering that the were in pain. He'd then reach out and grab another one of his blades from near by and strike again in this same interval with the second blade, and then again and again, each time either taking a step back to grab a sword that was out of reach and then striking again and each time striking in a different area. In total, he struck 12 times, moving so quickly and executing such a quick succession of blows that it left his blades hanging against his body.

And yet he still wasn't done. Picking up one final blade, the Kaguya would systematically strike each and ever blade that he had already put to blows against shin's body, sending a second shock-wave through his body, of non-lethal damage, with every strike in such a quick motion that it could hardly have been said to be seen at all. When he was finished, he had struck Shin a total of 24 times, and the force of his last strike sending the blades scattering from Shin's body and all around them in a seemingly random, haphazard direction.

Should his attack land, a decent chance since he had struck in between Shin making signs, Aimi would stand over him for a moment before rolling him over and getting down on one knee, holding his hands above his torso and channeling his chakra into that of medicinal ninjutsu, healing what damage he would have done with that last succession of blows. "Kirin is not something that should be used in a sparing match, Shikashin. Be still so I can heal you." As an after thought, he'd add, "And really? You're almost out of chakra? We haven't done much of anything though, I could still go for a good while... you must have a phenomenally low amount of chakra."

Hiraishin Senkou (Flying Thunder God Flash)

Skill: Ninjutsu
Effect: Teleports the user instantly to the Hiraishin seal.
Special: "1 Hand Seal is used. The Tiger"
Drawback: Requires intense concentration, the user may potentially place themselves in a dangerous situation. Seal only functions in a one kilometer radius. Requires 300 TP to learn.
Description: The user forms the tiger seal, synchronizing their chakra with the signal from the seal. The seal will in turn activate, and the incantation will transmit the user via a packet of pure, high frequency chakra to the seal in the blink of an eye. The user reforms and is in whole once again, exactly as they were in their original location. Known as one of the deadliest assassination techniques in existence, the Hiraishin is also one of the most difficult to learn. Despite it's difficulty, however, it only consumes chakra like a B ranked technique.
Limit: Must known Hiraishin Placement. Must learn from Alexander, Kaiser, or Izumi.

Ka (Addition)

Skill: TaiJutsu
Effect: User attacks the opponent a total of 11 times in rapid succession, each at different angles and positions before finishing with a 12th attack.
Special: ---
Drawback: ---
Description: User is able to attack 2 times per movement. User takes hold of a sword and slashes the opponent before releasing the sword and taking hold of another sword to attack again. User is able to strike up to 11 times. With each strike the sword is left behind attached to the opponent. He then lands a final blow, making a total of twelve devastating blows. This technique can be fatal to the enemy if successful and can end the battle. The attack itself relies upon the high speeds of the individual attacks and the momentary stun inflicted by the previous blows, allowing the user to grab one of the surrounding swords and continue with the technique.
Limit: Must have Mastered Santōryū Attacks (三刀流, Three Swords Style), Must learn from a master of Santōryū (三刀流, Three Swords Style)

Jouhou (Multiplication)
Rank: "A"
Skill: TaiJutsu
Effect: Technique followed after (Addition). User strikes the swords that are left around the opponent from the previous technique which ends up cutting the enemy with the 12 swords all over again.
Special: ---
Drawback: May only performs once every 2 rounds.
Description: User takes the concept of Mugen Suto (Infinite Strike) and a follow up to Ka (Addition). While the opponent is still impaled by the previous 12 strikes, the user attacks once again, striking these remaining swords so as to repeat the succession of movements preformed previously. This results in doubling the attack damage that was already done, as it cuts his opponent with the twelve swords all over again. When finished this attack total up to 24 strikes being received by the enemy within an incredibly short period, leaving little to no chance for a counter attack. The severe damage this move causes could very well end a battle.
Limit: Must learn from a master of Santōryū (三刀流, Three Swords Style), Must know Ka (Addition), Must know Mugen Suto (Infinite Strike)

Healing Hands (Moderate)

Effect: A Healer gains the ability to heal Moderate Wounds within an amount of time.

Description: When laying the hand upon a living creature, the user channels positive energy that cures Moderate wounds within the amount of time performing a "B" Rank technique in handseals. While curing Moderate wounds this technique brings higher wound levels down by 1 step. Since undead are powered by negative energy, this Jutsu deals damage to them instead of curing their wounds.
Limit: Must be a Medical Doctor. Must know Healing Hands (Light).

IC: The blows hit Shin, one after another, the other Shinobi's speed blinding. Before he knew it, he was flat on his back, staring up into the trees above. As Aimi healed him, he felt himself coming right, enough so that he could sit up, albeit with a wince.

"I must apologise Aimi Kaguya... I got carried away. Kirin is... not an acceptable technique for sparring" he agreed, having to stop for breath part way through. "Admittedly, I was in the process of recovering from a training session when we met, hence my chakra difficulties..."

Once Aimi was done with him, he picked himself up, his hand pressed to his side. It still hurt, although it was more a dull ache than a searing pain as it had been. "Perhaps we can fight another day, when we're both at our peak performance... And I'll remember this is a casual spar, not a battle to the death" he added with a chuckle. Wincing again, he made to limp out of the clearing. Over his shoulder he called, "If you won't spar with me again, well... Then maybe we'll have to up the stakes"
