The cool water beneath her feet was oddly soothing as Amira stood in the shallow end of the oasis, with swimsuit on ready for some aquatic training. In that moment, Amira began to focus on the water around her as her chakra network quickly kicked into gear. Meditating on what it was that she wanted to manifest, she quickly prepared her chakra to infuse itself with the water as she visualized something similar to her wood dragon technique except completely constructed out of water. This simplistic concept was becoming easer to imagine as Amira quickly allowed her hands to begin moving to form handsels. Her chakra flowed down from her body and into her feet before seeping into the water before her in a decent amount. The water slowly began to react as if it had been put to a boil as she quickly focused on manipulating her chakra so that it could easily produce a column of water first. As the sluggish watery column began to rise up, Amira tried to focus her chakra into a rapid moving projectile that would of course sprout from the sweet spring that she was now splashing about in. The slow column of water attempted to do as she willed; however all it did was lean backwards, throwing the center of balance off of the water pillar, allowing it to splash down into Amira’s face. “Damn it!” she exclaimed as suddenly she was drenched by the merger amount of water that she had been able to manipulate. “And to think I’m a water chakra nature…” She said with a sigh as she quickly began to refocus her chakra and her mental capacity towards creating the water dragon once again.
This time, Amira decided that it would be best to think about her mistakes before attempting a second time. Amira then decided that she would breakdown the technique into steps so that she could practice the feel of creating a giant swirling dragon water beast of awesomeness. As she focused her chakra, this time Amira only focused on infusing her chakra into the water and creating a pillar for which she could gradually raise and maneuver. As she allowed her hands to once again begin moving, Amira allowed her chakra to focus into a condensed section of the oasis right in front of her. As she did so, she felt her stomach jump as suddenly she felt the condensed form of chakra raging upward at a much more successful rate than it had only moments ago. The water gradually pushed itself upward, climbing higher and higher at a slow, but steady pace. “There we go!” Amira shouted as she felt the technique actually doing something productive. As the pillar slowly raised itself upward towards the sky, Amira now changed her focus towards maintaining that pillar for a decent period of time. She kept her mental focus on the condensed nature of the chakra that held the dragon together. It was this condensing of the Suiton chakra that allowed the watery pillar to exist at all. As Amira held the pillar up, she eventually tried to allow it to move side to side. This was successful at first, when the pillar quickly began to bend and maneuver to the users will; however it still dispersed into a puddle after a few moments of weaving about.
“Hey, What gives?!” She shouted as she quickly tried to take note of why the dragon had fallen apart. The water obviously was slow, and the fact that it was slow made it fairly vulnerable to falling down since it lacked a good deal of forward momentum. With that in mind, Amira quickly prepared herself to preform another set of seals. As her hands moved, Amira quickly refocused her chakra in the condensed fashion as she had once before. As the water began to rise, this time, Amira quickly attempted to weave the water side to side in an attempt to get the water to increase in momentum, which would help give the technique stability. As the water column weaved about, Amira could feel herself losing control of the water fairly quickly as the column decided that it would not be accepting any forward momentum from this action. As a result, the water instead decided to weave around like a whip and slam itself into Amira sending her off 5 meters into the oasis. Amira landed with a splash as she was now fairly drenched and pissed off. With a fire burning for success, Amira quickly focused her chakra into her feet as she stood up on the water’s surface and began to again from handseals. As her hands moved, She felt her chakra flowing down into the concentrated point once again as she decided that training this stupid technique was beginning to appear much more trouble than it was worth.
As her hands finished moving, Amira decided to condense the chakra that she was infusing with the water into two tiny sects each. In order to get her forward momentum, Amira decided that she would quickly use the two points to spring out and create a rotational motion with the water so that the column of water would spin while it was begin created. As Amira preformed this action, she found that only the water around the circle began to move as the water began to spin at a rapid rate. This rapid spinning supported the pillar as it waived about left and right with no problem. This column concept of rotation to keep the momentum of the water was short lived as Amira noticed that the middle of the pillar was hollow. The movement was much like that of the Water dragon itself, but it still required sustenance and form in order to deal damage and to have any real combat use. As the hollow weaving water pillar began to move about on a horizontal plane in an attempt test the water’s movement capabilities, Amira felt the water beginning to lose momentum as it quickly did a few twists before smacking into the oasis itself. “Hmm…a little better.” Amira said with a sigh as she quickly decided that she would take a little break before attempting the technique again.
