Kunai (Overview)
Rank: "C" Rank
Type: Secondary, 2 per Slot, Piercing/Slashing, Knife
Effect: A digging tool, a bit like a trowel. The blade was soft iron and unsharpened because the edges were used to smash plaster and wood, to dig holes and to pry. Also used as a knife.
Special: ---
Drawback: ---
Description: The kunai is conventionally wrought in ranges from 6 to 8 inches, with the average at 7 inches. The kunai was used by common folk as multi-purpose gardening tools and by workers of stone and masonry. The kunai is not a knife, but something more akin to a crowbar. The blade was soft iron and unsharpened because the edges were used to smash plaster and wood, to dig holes and to pry. Normally only the tip would have been sharpened. The uses to which a kunai was put would have destroyed any heat-treated and sharpened tool like a knife. There could be multiple kinds of kunais such as handless ones, or even double sided kunais as long as they are within the same length.
Limit: These types of items may be capable of being bought inside any Weapon Shop.
Cost: 1,000 Ryo per Slot, or 500 Ryo Each.
Hira-Shuriken (Overview)
Rank: "C" Rank
Type: Secondary, 15 per Slot, Piercing, Shuriken
Effect: Is a concealed weapon that is generally for throwing, and sometimes stabbing or slashing.
Special: ---
Drawback: ---
Description: Hira-shuriken is constructed from thin, flat plates of metal derived from a variety of sources including hishi-gane (coins), and kugi-nuki (carpentry tools), and generally resemble popular conceptions of shuriken. In modern popular culture, these are called "throwing stars" or "ninja stars". They often have a hole in the center and possess a fairly thin blade sharpened only at the tip. The holes derive from their source in items that had holes - old coins, washers, and nail-removing tools. This proved convenient for the shuriken user, as well, as the weapons could be strung on a string or dowel in the belt for transport, and the hole also had aerodynamic and weighting effects that aided the flight of the blade after it was thrown. There is a wide variety of forms of hira-shuriken and they are now usually identified by the number of points the blades possess.
Limit: These types of items may be capable of being bought inside any Weapon Shop.
Cost: 1,500 Ryo per Slot, or 100 Ryo Each.
Grenade: Sting
Rank: "C"
Type: Secondary, 1 per Slot, Explosive, Grenade
Effect: A non lethal grenade that is used to sting and subdue an opponent without causing major harm.
Special: ---
Drawback: May harm the user if not thrown right.
Description: Sting grenades are based on the design of the fragmentation grenade. Instead of using a metal casing to produce shrapnel, they are made using two spheres of hard rubber. The space between the two spheres is then filled with many small, hard rubber balls. Upon detonation, the subject is incapacitated by the blunt force of the projectiles. This makes sting grenades ideal for containing small groups of rowdy prisoners, providing a shooting opportunity when a suspect is hiding behind cover, or in allowing SWAT teams to clear small rooms. The sting grenade has a radius damage of 15 meters. It takes 6 seconds before it explodes.
Limit: These types of items may be capable of being bought inside any Weapon Shop.
Cost: 1,500 Ryo Each
Grenade: Smoke
Rank: "C"
Type: Secondary, 1 per Slot, Explosive, Grenade
Effect: A Grenade that gives off thick smoke when it explodes; used to make a smoke screen or to mark a position.
Special: ---
Drawback: May harm the user if not thrown right.
Description: Smoke grenades are used as ground-to-ground or ground-to-air signaling devices, target or landing zone marking devices, and screening devices for unit movement. The body is a sheet-steel cylinder with emission holes in the top and bottom. These allow the smoke to be released when the grenade is ignited. Two main types exist, colored smoke (for signaling) and screening smoke. It fills an area radius of 15 meters with thick smoke. The smoke may come in different colors if the user wishes. Different color smoke could be used for information value if need. It takes 6 seconds before it explodes.
Limit: These types of items may be capable of being bought inside any Weapon Shop.
Cost: 1,500 Ryo Each
Grenade: Stun
Rank: "C"
Type: Secondary, 1 per Slot, Explosive, Grenade
Effect: A stun grenade, also known as a flash-bang, is a nonlethal weapon. These grenades are used to temporally neutralize the combat effectiveness of enemies by usually disorienting their senses.
Special: ---
Drawback: May harm the user if not thrown right.
Description: A stun grenade, also known as a flash-bang, is a non-lethal weapon. These grenades are used to temporally neutralize the combat effectiveness of enemies by usually disorienting their senses. When making contact it releases a flash of light that momentarily activates all light sensitive cells in the eye, making vision impossible for approximately 5 seconds until the eye restores itself to its normal, un-stimulated state. The incredibly loud blast produced by the grenade adds to its incapacitating properties by disturbing the fluid in the ear which also lasts approximately 5 seconds until the ear restores itself to its normal, un-stimulated state. The flash bang has a radius damage of 15 meters. It takes 6 seconds before it explodes.
Limit: These types of items may be capable of being bought inside any Weapon Shop.
Cost: 1,500 Ryo Each
Grenade: Fragmentation
Rank: "C"
Type: Secondary, 1 per Slot, Explosive, Grenade
Effect: A grenade with a heavy metal casing that shatters, on exploding, into fragments that travel at high speed and with great force.
Special: ---
Drawback: May harm the user if not thrown right.
Description: The fragmentation grenade (commonly known as a frag) is an anti-personnel weapon that is designed to disperse shrapnel upon exploding. The body is made of hard plastic or steel. Flechettes, notched wire, ball bearings or the case itself provide the fragments. When the word grenade is used without specification, and context does not suggest otherwise, it is generally assumed to refer to a fragmentation grenade. These grenades were sometimes classed as defensive grenades because the effective casualty radius of some matched or exceeded the distance they could be thrown, thus necessitating them being thrown from behind cover. Fragmentation grenades have a killing radius of 5 meters with a wounding radius of 15 meters. It takes 6 seconds before it explodes.
Limit: These types of items may be capable of being bought inside any Weapon Shop.
Cost: 1,500 Ryo Each

Known to Mirage
- Name [Relation - Status | Place of residence – Title]
It is not about who you are, but what you are: a symbol of hope.
To describe Mirage in only one line would actually do justice to his entire persona: He is a staunch protector of justice and freedom, operating from the shadows, standing tall as a symbol of hope against the decay of morals of recent times. This model citizens personality is as elusive as are clues to his identity. Preferring to operate from the shadows, in a big spotlight, and remaining mysterious about his motives, over a microphone, Mirage considers himself to be quite the hero.
And well considered, his intentions are honourable. At the first sight of crime Mirage will charge in and slap the shit out of crime until it caves in or dies trying. Upholding the law as a vigilante and respecting women on a first date, Mirage is the perfect example of a lawful good person. He is as honest as his face, or whatever is visible of his visage. A lie is something that is wouldn't even come to Mirage's mind.
In a battle Mirage operates from the shadows, that implicates jumping forth from the darkness, stating who your are, your intentions and shouting a funny punch line. A dramatic entry is far more important than getting the first strike of course. When in battle every trick in the book is allowed in order to win, including and not limited to, excessive use of flashbangs and smokebombs, powerful taijutsu attacks and allowing the opponent to pick up his weapon again.
Anyone can wear his underwear over some spandex, that doesn't make you a hero.
If you try to keep your identity secret then nothing is more important than a good costume. To allow full capability of movement without being hindered you off course need a full amethyst purple spandex suit. A big green 'M' has been sewn on the chest to demonstrate the affiliation of the vigilante with his own alter ego: Mirage. However, spandex does not cover identities, thus a mask has been added that obscures the upper halve of Mirage's face from the tip of the nose and above. The black mask does not only obscure the most recognizable part of the head, but it of course also intimidates criminal masterminds into submission!
For even more freedom of movement and an intimidating appearance you need a cape! Because you know, capes make everything cooler. A hood connected to the hood is thrown over the head to obscure even further and to give some extra warmth in the night. Because, well, it gets cold in the night when fighting crime and mum always tells me to put a sweater on when I get out... Oops! I mean, if the good gets sick evil can run rampant in the streets so better stay warm!
In order to promote stealth the cape is in a deep dark indigo colour, with a big green, glow in the dark question mark attached to the hood by means of a spring. To confuse enemies and to further the riddle of who this Mirage is of course! Crimson rubber boots, which are totally not my dad's old gardening boots adorn my feet as I prowl the night in search of justice. Finally, like every super hero something is needed in terms of speedos, but since speedos are for old men I just put my underwear over the spandex suit. It just offsets the other colours so nicely and completes the ensemble.
Who is Mirage?
Mirage is totally not that kid called Thomas who graduated from the shinobi academy two years ago and has a history as bland as the taste of the cereal boxy. He is totally not that person who had a happy childhood as the youngest son in one of the most average middle class families of the Hidden Sound. And he totally did not turn his bedroom into a 'Mirage cave' after deciding to become a superhero after graduating from the ninja academy.
No! Mirage is an enigma that appeared on the streets two years ago which strangely coincided with Thomas Smith graduating from the shinobi academy. Immediately he made headlines when he prowled the streets at night, fighting crime. He has already prevented two robberies, one burglary and more illegal grass treading than can be counted one hand. You actually have to use a second one for that.
Headlines were made in a local newspaper when Mirage helped the boyscouts of the Hidden Sound to regain their cookies that had been stolen by a bunch of homeless bums about half a year ago. And since then everyone has been wondering, who is Mirage?! But, Mirage shall never disclose his identity (which is totally not Thomas Smith), he is not just a superhero, he is a symbol for hope and a better future.
Because he's the hero the Hidden Sound deserves, but not the one it needs right now. Or something awesome like that. I couldn't find a better quote. And I am totally not Thomas Smith!
