OOC Notes: This thread is open for anyone to use for any purpose. You can trash it, burn it, meet up, or just get a drink but there may be consequences for your actions. There is no OOC charge to get a drink.
The Garrison is owned and operated by the Yoshimi brothers and serves as the primary front for their illegal operations. Despite its seedy underbelly, the owners' status as war heroes have made it a popular bar for veterans, town guards, and Shinobi alike. These groups all drink and eat at a steep discount and their patronage has encouraged others residents of Sunagakure to come out. This has resulted in the bar becoming a popular stop for laborers on their way home and turned the pub into a profitable business in its own right.
The Garrison has a bar and kitchen though the kitchen only offers a limited selection of dishes. The bar features a wide array of beer and liquors. Most of them are purchased legitimately but some of the more expensive liquors fell of the back of a cart or are offered as payment for protection.
The bar is mahogany and copper plated to make spilled drinks easier to clean. The booths along the windows and walls are comfortable and fairly private with tall dividers between them. The tables and stools at the bar are rather plain and unassuming. By the front entrance to the pub is a large private dining room that is used by the Yoshimi Brothers when they frequent the pub and for conducting private business meetings.
There is a storeroom accessed by a door behind the bar. A set of crude stairs in this storeroom lead up to the second floor where the Yoshimi run their bookeeping and gambling operations. The bar's third floor is a large comfortably furnished studio apartment that Hanzai lives in. On special occasions Hanzai plays host to the entire organization there.
The interior of the bar is often dark and smoke filled but never gloomy. The patrons of the pub and the Yoshimi Brothers themselves love drinking songs and once the shifts end the pub is rarely silent. The jobs in the bar have almost exclusively gone to veterans or their families. Many of the waitresses and barkeepers are the widows, wives, and sisters of soldiers who fought beside the Yoshimi brothers. Of course you don't need to be any one of those things to get a job at the pub and they are almost always hiring.
There are often other jobs available for those the Yoshimi Brothers trust. They'll always give an audience to anyone looking for work and if you make a good impression, you'll usually get a shot to earn their trust.

Bartenders:
Kazushi 'Kaz' Tarumi:
Artist link
C Rank Taimaster: Brawler and Boxer
Kaz can usually be found working the late shift from 6-1 at night when the bar closes. Kaz served alongside the brothers in the Daimyo's Army and was the first outsider to join the family's criminal enterprise. Disillusioned with the leaders of the country and village he had no qualms about rebelling against the law until his daughter was born. Married soon after, his 'shotgun wedding' has blossomed into a happy family life. After his daughter was born he asked the brothers to leave him out of their criminal adventures. Grateful for his loyalty, in the army and out, the brothers have made him one of the highest paid bartenders in the village. He is very personable and loves to talk about his daughter. While he isn't in the loop he's always willing to make an introduction for someone who makes a good impression.
Masamune 'Mas' Yoshimi:
Artist Link
C Rank Taimaster: Brawler (Mastered) and Boxer
Masamune Yoshimi is the public figurehead of the Yoshimi Brothers. Many people assume he is the brains of the operation simply because he is older. Hanzai and the other brothers are happy to let that ruse continue so long as it is to their advantage. Mas has taken the biggest interest in the pub of any of the brothers. He usually tends the bar from the time the bar opens at noon to six when Kaz takes over. These slow hours usually leave him plenty of time to conduct business and deal out assignments to the less legitimate employees of the Yoshimi. People who come to a bar in the afternoon are also unemployed and Mas' presence has proved a valuable recruiting tool.
Mas is usually found smoking a large cigar. He's not the most talkative of bartenders but he'll listen if you want to talk. Mas is also the tallest and most physically imposing of the brothers standing at 6'4 and 230. Mas is still deeply troubled by the loss of his younger brother Ishar during the war and the horrors he witnessed on the battlefield. On bad days he often drinks too much behind the bar and is quick to anger and fight even his friends. When he's not at the bar he's usually at the brother's boxing gym working on his rage problems.
