Description: A Light Weapon. These weapons do +1 Amour Points of Damage. The Range Increment of this weapon is 5 meters. A caltrop is a 4-pronged iron spike crafted so that one prong faces up no matter how the caltrop comes to rest. The user scatters caltrops on the ground in the hope that the opponent steps on them or at least forced to slow down to avoid them. 1 slot of caltrops cover an area 2 meter squared. Each time a creature moves into an area covered by caltrops or spends a round fighting while standing in an area, they may step on one. If the opponent steps on a caltrop the Caltrop deals 1 Armour Points of Damage, and the opponent's movements is reduced by 1/2 because its foot is wounded. This movement penalty lasts for 24 hours, or until the creature is treated with a First Aid: Healing Hard Check, or they are healed from minor wounds. A charging or running creature must immediately stop if it steps on a caltrop.

Empathetic
It's almost always difficult for the woman to tend to medical nin, as they must first be alerted that the hormone that is in the brain that leads to human attachment is the same thing pumping through her veins. She is probably one of the most loyal people you'll ever meet, and even despite having fights and arguments with friends, families, and allies, the lass will almost never cut her ties to people. She is fueled by the feeling of being connected with others. Despite being a shinobi, being the cold, calculated killer is inherently at conflict with her personality. Seeing others serving her country meeting their fatal ends is something that'd cause her crippling emotional pain if the emotional scarring is left alone for too long. However, her empathy runs so deep that she can't even manage to watch someone do something embarrassing for too long without feeling embarrassed herself. However, this strong connection to people only fortifies the loyalty and love she has for her country. Her emotion has its drawbacks, but she finds courage, strength, determination, and inspiration out of her empathetic nature.

Like the other Nara members around the world have earned in their reputations, Nozomi is almost always happy to put off doing any kind of work. She believes in working smart, not working hard. This means that she recognizes that in order to be happy, she requires someone to have a leadership role to sustain long-term missions. While she hates the idea of falling into the category of women who are 'weak' and needing of a male figure in order to assist them in finding fulfillment, having the freedom to spend time day dreaming, drawing, and creating music while someone takes over the more trivial tasks is her idea of freedom.
Intelligent
Nozomi is wiser than her age would indicate. She has notoriously incredible skills at debating, consuming information, and creating new knowledge/art. Unfortunately, none of these skills are the things that shinobi school rewards you for with good marks, so most of her time inside of a classroom is spent with her dancing over the line between passing and flunking out and having to repeat. That intelligence definitely translates into her combat situations, although explaining her lack of a desire to explain her logic or reasoning causes the woman to come off as completely random to those who can't see the full picture.
Appearance:
Behold the tales of the cool, guaranteed to shock and make you fail from your school, mortals. Before someone even goes into the details of the physical attributes she's been blessed with, they should first take into consideration the wonderful aura of fab that surrounds her. Of course this aura is not a physical thing, nor does it have an actual appearance/color, when you walk into a room with the queen of fab, you know that you aren't dealing with another person. In comparison to the average chump that'd get a rating of 10, when compared to the queen of fabo they'd still appear to be a 10, however only on the ph scale, because they're basic as hell when you put them next to the Nara.
With her mysterious, cold, cryptic gray mane, the beast of the east proudly shows off her beauty. Typically, her hair will not be restrained by an oppressive band of any sorts, because people will always have to worry about the possibility of falling in love and seeing her in a dreamy, slow motion sort of way when it's left free to sway in the gentle breeze. You will never see a pair of eyes that are this intense. Forget a byakugan, a sharingan, or a rinnegan. Her eyes are intense. Sharingan hypnosis has nothing on the power of love, not even at all. One glance from the god can make people crumble into pieces on the ground, and we still haven't gotten to the facial structure yet. Her eyes are a perfect blue, with a black center. Despite having a golden mane of a beast, both of her perfectly symmetrical eyebrows are black.
Once you get down to the cheekbones, you are getting down to the merchandise. Each of her cheeks contain a very slight rosy hue over her rather pale complexion. Her soft features might not fit the stereotype of a hardened, chiseled shinobi but.. let there be absolutely no mistake. Her chin contains a nice little point, which gives her head a shape that's almost like an almond. Both of her eyes are slanted. Her ears are always hidden behind her hair, unless she is in one of the few occasions worthy of tying her hair up to avoid it working against her. Both ears are just the tiniest bit lower than the eye.
Her neck leads to a pair of slightly frail shoulders. Each of her arms contain nothing more than lankiness for the sake of never looking more high maintenance than this child actually is. She's also as flat-chested as a bird. Her body frame is in between being average and being slightly big.
Outfits:
Nozomi is a huge fan of minimalist outfits, meaning that he outfits exist purely enough to do what she needs to be done. Things such as armor, ninja tool bags, and gear are important, but being weighted down during a mission by useless things is also something to be thought about. Typically, she is wearing a black shirt, black shorts combo, underneath fishnet pants and a fishnet shirt, along with sandals. At other times when the climate is at an extremely cold temperature, she will be seen wearing camouflage appearing leggings, along with a large white coat full of all of the essentials for long-term winter survival needs.
Background:
Nozomi 's story doesn't begin with her randomly appearing into a world full of violence and war. It begins at her moment of conception. Her father is a well-respected academic in the fields of biology, chemistry, engineering, and eugenics. As part of the very powerful military presence that the Village in Stone has always had, the culture of innovation leading to the development of powerful improvements in technology fields has lead to a few science projects that are definitely best left inside of burned Iwa history books. His alchemy was feared due to the creation of deadly poisons, biological warfare, extremely rare alchemy, and most important of them all, the types of testing and analyses given to those of certain bloodlimits in order to create better breeds of clans. Whether this involved manipulating youth prenatally to ensure that certain rare bloodlimits are more likely to become active, or conducting studies on the corpses of those collected by village nin to study the capabilities of other village nin, one of his favorite things involved creating a new breed of warriors that would be suit to surpass the rest. After all, one of the biggest stories is how shinobi of past eras are had considerably more strength than modern nin... This madman wished to redeem this.
As his offspring, Nozomi never stood a chance. The woman is one of many siblings, bred specifically for protection, servitude, and protection from terminal illnesses that would prevent her from continuing his research after his passing. Her mother, like the mother of many of her siblings, was a person who he tracked down personally, and offered to give them eternal life if they participated in his experiments willingly, or the capture and exploitation of her entire clan if they choose to resist. As a child bred for longevity and intelligence, her personality is quite small in comparison to others who would be considered to be in his 'clan.' Submission, deference, and serving her familial responsibility are more likely to strike a cord with her than ideas of individuality, responsibility for the self, and self-determination.
Her parenting style was... non-traditional to say the least. As someone who lived in the lab, there was no time for child-care outside of conducting experiments or doing new tests on her youth. The best way to describe it would be a communal type parenting, where all of the mothers were responsible for all of the offspring. Because of this, she embodied lots of the empathy that was passed down to her through the multiple others in her life that were subjected to her fathers harm. She learned to interact with other youth in a lab setting - her first time stepping outside and actually getting to explore the village came at the age of four, and the second time occurred at the age of seven ; still, through her readings, and her father's propaganda, she feels an extremely intimate bond between her and the village she serves.
As his subordinate, Nozomi was able to experience more freedom than most of her siblings due to her acting as an assistant researcher while he conducted certain experiments. From there, she was able to learn about alchemy and the sciences by learning underneath a master, as she assisted in helping 'make Iwa great again.' Her tasks included assisting in the creations of deadly poisons, using her youth to disarm those who might be threatened by an elder in order to conduct scouting on people who would be threatened by her father's presence. His mission became their mission. Unlike his father, however, she was situated in the position of a scientific subject for the betterment of a village she closed off from. Her personal mission is to continue the work started by her leader, but to take the abusive, exploitative methodology out of it and truly create a program that's better for the village.
