The calm wind brushed against the forgotten battlefield as the sun gently peaked int he distant horizon. Stars of twilight began to slowly fade away while being greeted by the morning sun. Gently brushing onward it slithered against the surface of an old torn and faded playing card. A short rustle from the paper item echoed as the hearts upon it began to hum and shine. A few moments the old relic erupted into an brilliant fountain of light as an humanoid shape began to take form. Receiving the call the Chivalrous Gambler returned to this ancient battlefield the instructions embedded into his valiant soul. Gazing onward his eyes laid upon the edge of the river which was 20 meters away. He quickly went over his 9 fully loaded card holsters. One was upon each of his wrists, 3 was upon each side of his hips. the last one was gently strapped upon the side of his left leg near his knee. His finger tips slithered into his buttbag gently scrapping against the 80 ice exploding tags within.
Patiently Ace awaited for his destined opponent wondering if it would be an old rival. Knowing that battle was soon, he gently removed the reading glasses upon the bridge of his nodes before folding them up before placing them into his brown dress vest pocket.
