Effect: Characters with the anatomy skill have a basic knowledge of how the body functions.

Description: This skill includes a knowledge of surgery, dissection, and basic anatomy. As might be expected, such knowledge is enormously useful for corporeal sculpting of corpses, sculpting incorporeal ectoplasm, and even restoring bodies by proper embalming. Without a proper knowledge of Anatomy, Basic, most of the work is guesswork. They know where major organs are located on most species. They do not know much about the anatomy of rare creatures or monsters, but they can make an educated guess in certain circumstances. This skill can help a character know what organs to harvest and other body parts for components or other uses. Including selling them to others.
Novice: Knowing where major organs lie in the corpse of the same race.
Average: Recognizing the effects of disease or poison upon healthy bodies (though not necessarily the exact nature of such).
Advanced:
Expert:
Master: Remembering how minor organs function in humans.
Basic Each time learned user gets 2 die roll to increase the skill.

After graduating from the ninja academy and taking a few months honing his skill with a local divine reflexes master/instructor, he decided to go back to the medical center to see old friends and to see if any help was needed. He was a bit worried that he had offended some of the staff there because he had not stopped by in quite a long time, but he knew that this was the right thing to do. The first thing that he wanted to do is check on his old working buddy, mentor, and young doctor, Hyotaru Shimizu.
Katsuro spent half an hour just walking around the 1st (outer) ring of the complex looking for his friend. Just when he was about to give up and come back the next day, he heard a shout from the distance. "Hey, Katsuro! Where the heck have you been!? I was beginning to think you weren't coming back." Katsuro turned towards the one calling his name to find Hyotaru waving his arms wildly above his head and grinning.
"Thanks for your vote of confidence." Katsuro said looking at the floor and scrunching his face, "But I had to jump at the chance to Meimei Undoushinkei. Masters don't take that many students at a time and I was waaaay too tired to come in at nights. If I'm tired when training, I could end up killed. I'm here now though and ready to get back to learning how to heal. I'm going to start going on missions soon and I need to be able to keep my team healthy and alive."
"Well, in that case go wash up and meet me in my office. I'll give you some pointers if you promise to come back to see me after you get back." He returned to his office and told him where the office is.
He did so and ruched back making sure to not get his hands dirty. He spent the rest of the day learning all he could from his friend, happy that now that he had graduated that he was able to actually work with patients and learn as long as he had Hyotaru with him in the room, and he is no longer just a glorified gofer. Hyotaru pointed out the major areas of the body: thoracic, abdominal, head, arms and legs. Most of it being common sense; brain in the head, heart and lungs in the chest; but, it is necessary to start at the largest and simplest level so that there are no misunderstandings.
After a long day Katsuro leaves to go back home. Tired he turns towards the door to the clinic. "I'll be coming back soon to learn real medicine. See you Dr. Shimizu."
"Good night, but you know you can call me by first name when we aren't around patients."
"Good night Doctor." Katsuro said smiling and waving before leaving the center for the night.
