The card enchanter glanced up towards the sky as he yawned removing some fatigue. He did enjoy the nice warm and midday temperature yet the chilly yet smooth sting of the arctic was always preferred. The soft sunlight glistened upon his dark brown dress pants as the soft wind gently tugged upon his light brown dress vest and white dress shirt underneath. His black dress shoes crunched upon the weathered grass as he progressed onward. His light blond strains of hair remained in place as his hairtie had it remained in an short yet refined ponytail as his eyes glanced at the lake's shoreline 20 meters away. The rim of his reading glasses reflected the slightest amount of light as his observant eyes remained relaxed yet alert.

Relaxing slightly his light blue eyes glanced at his card holsters which were strategically placed upon his vessel. One upon each wrists were gently strapped while upon his third card holster was gently strapped upon his belt on his left hip. Knowing that each was filled with 4 decks of cards his white gloved right hand slithered into his buttbag. Gloved fingertips gently brushed against the 80 ice exploding tags lingering inside.

Wasting sometime, the Chivalrous Gambler took out 10 cards from his left wrist holster. He casually began to shuffle the small deck of cards with an soft smirk upon his lips enjoying the time he was not busy with troublesome paperwork.

[Katsuro]

Katsuro was on his way to the cost in order to investigate some pirates that had been reported off the shores nearby. Because of this, he would be ready for battle in case he ran into them on land. His steel claw would be attached to a gantlet on his left forearm and his hood would be up over his head, and his headband tied around his forehead. He wares a black cloak with purple trimming around the edges, a combat vest, black pants, black calf-high boots, and carries his two short-swords on his back.

In the field he sees some strange man playing with a deck of cards. He would assume he was of a higher social rank from his fancy shoes and clothing. Confused on why this man would be just standing around, Katsuro would watch him for a few minutes waiting to see if the man was up to no good, but got bored and walked carefully up to the man, just in case he was trouble. Besides, if the man was from this area, he might be able to get some information from him that could help him on his mission.

As Katsuro came up to the man, he glanced up at him for a split second and then bowed slightly and introduced himself, "My name is Katsuro. I'm looking for some information on some reported pirates in the area. Do you have any knowledge you could give me on the subject?" At this time Katsuro would look at the man's throat and shift his weight to his back foot in case he needs to push off and get moving fast.

Drawback: The hollow blade is not as durable as a normal Katana.
Description: A pure white Katana from Blade to hilt; the inside of the blade itself is hollow and contains a storage for liquid such as water to be stored within. At the grip of the hilt, it can be unfastened to allow the user to fill up and seal the blade respectively. When the user wishes to leak out the contents of the blade, they click on a button at the top of the hilt which lets the contents run out at the tip.

Description: A Light Weapon. These weapons do +1 Amour Points of Damage. The Range Increment of this weapon is 5 meters. A caltrop is a 4-pronged iron spike crafted so that one prong faces up no matter how the caltrop comes to rest. The user scatters caltrops on the ground in the hope that the opponent steps on them or at least forced to slow down to avoid them. 1 slot of caltrops cover an area 2 meter squared. Each time a creature moves into an area covered by caltrops or spends a round fighting while standing in an area, they may step on one. If the opponent steps on a caltrop the Caltrop deals 1 Armour Points of Damage, and the opponent's movements is reduced by 1/2 because its foot is wounded. This movement penalty lasts for 24 hours, or until the creature is treated with a First Aid: Healing Hard Check, or they are healed from minor wounds. A charging or running creature must immediately stop if it steps on a caltrop.

A few moments later a stranger appeared on the other side of the river. Attentively the Chivalrous Gambler light blue eyes remained upon him. Focusing upon the strangers body language, the Hachidiame Yukikage assumed he did not mean any harm yet he could not allow him to cross the river. "Halt young man" the old relic instructed gently and politely remaining to be 20 meters away from the shoreline.

Listening to what was asked he thought of the past wondering if this possessed the same drive."lad you seem polite and driven so display your skills I'll offer knowledge time have bestowed upon me" he politely mentioned. Once that was mentioned he began to picture the wood technics while setting up vessel to be the material. He quickly took a couple of moments to set up the technique while quickly advancing foreword 5 meters. His light blue eyes remained upon the opponent. Techniques pep aired he needed to gather information to determine what juts us to use against the stranger.

Katsuro starts grins and starts doing handsigns as the man comes closer, moves his hands and arms in a circular motion, and gathers a ball of water in his right hand. The ball cools quickly to sub-zero °C, and throws the ball.

He then quickly grabs a sword with his right hand and gets ready to move; either towards if he managed to hit or ready to dodge if he missed. To do this, he would bring his feet inwards in a square shape just inside the shoulders with his right foot forwards, raise his right hand out and his left towards his hip.

Effect: Utilizing advanced mechanics of the Water Creation and Ice Creation, the user forms a ball of water near the freezing point, before hurling it at the target. Once the ball comes in contact with the target; it freezes on contact.

Drawback: The user is incapable of moving while performing this technique. In addition the jutsu only moves along a straight line.
Description: Utilizing the Water Creation jutsu, they perform eight handseals before swaying their hand in a circular motion. The swaying of their arms drops the temperature of the created water as it begins to forumlate into a ball within one of the user's hands (preferably the dominate hand but this is not necessary). When the user is ready the ball is hurled at the target. The water in question is at a temperature which is near freezing point and instantly freezes upon contact within a meter radius for the C-rank version. The B-rank version is capable of completely freezing anything within the three meter radius; making this variation a death move requiring death approval.

Making proper steps fro the counter move he remained heading forward as the individual began to wave his hands around. Light blue eyes remained upon the hand motions looking for an clues of how it formed and sculpted chakra. Applying chakra lore knowledge if there was any signature chakra signatures he would be able to notice them and possibly figure out their specific use. Although if it was not an normal chakra technique then his knowledge would not be able to detect the fine specifics.

Ace's prepped technique remained active as he advanced 5 meters in an rapid sprint. He rapidly approached the coastal edge while remaining an nice distance away. His light blue eyes glanced at the water wondering if it would be safer to keep an great distance away from the water source. He briefly glanced at the individual while the sub zero ball approached. "utilizing water eh" the card enchanter thought while planning of how to act once his hidden technique was triggered. Without caring to dodge his eyes glanced over to the side about 5 meters away. Afterwards his eyes gazed upon the opponent a few seconds before the ice ball struck. His expression remained still before the body turned into an puff of smoke.During this time the roots rummaged in fury as they burst through the soil where the substitution was struck. Soon 6 branches each 6 inches thick surged onward soil being thrown about as they rushed towards the opponent attempting to bind him.

Viciously the wooden objects began to attempt to tangle and bind around the opponent attempting to bind his body tightly to prevent movement and handseals. As the jutsu replacement attempted to go into effect, the Hachidaime Yukikage appeared 5 meters to the left away from the spot which the opposing jutsu. Without wasting anymore time 200 cards began to rapidly surge out of his wrists holsters. Elegantly the playing cards danced and floated around their master as he awaited to see how his opponet would react to the wood technique replacement jutsu.

Every time learned the distance may increase by an additional ten Meters. When the distance reaches up to a Hundred Meters the type of training becomes B-Rank Training. When the distance reaches Two Hundred Meters the Training becomes A-Rank. When the user reaches to B-Rank Training the width of branches is Twelve Inches if the user desires. When the Training Reaches A-Rank the width of the branches is Twenty Four Inches if the user desires. Each time learned the user is capable of creating another branch.

Effect: The beginning for any paper user. One must take the time to learn within this technique to gain access to more advanced paper techniques. With this technique the user will gain the knowledge to manipulate the form and actions of paper. The higher one goes into this technique, the more advanced their paper creations are.

Drawback: This is not a technique but an understanding. Without this, one cannot hope to utilize paper. This technique only grants minimal control over paper in their radius. Paper only being manipulated with this technique cannot be used as an offensive strike and lacks the chakra to be imbued with Paper Strength.
Description: There are 3 ranks to paper manipulation. Each rank has its own name and variation but each form allows a user access to more advanced capabilities.

Paper Adept - "C" Rank - This is the basic paper manipulation where everyone must start. With this rank of knowledge a user can manipulate pieces of paper in a simple form within the range of tiny to small size. Simple forms range from weapons such as needles or basic rods. At this stage the user is capable of manipulating paper within a radius of ten meters.

Paper Origami - "B" Rank - This is the intermediate form of manipulation. Upon achieving this rank, ones creations receive an origami feel to its creation. Utilizing ones own chakra, a user is capable of creating paper objects or animals within the origami realm. At this rank, a user is capable of manipulating paper within the range of medium to large size. At this stage the user is capable of manipulating paper within a radius of thirty meters.

Paper Masha - "A" Rank - This is the final level of paper manipulation. One is capable of taking multiple pieces of paper to create something of almost life like value. With this, one is capable of creating things within the range of huge to Gargantuan size. When the user learns this rank, they are capable of manipulating paper within a fifty meter radius.
