“Katsu”
Rank: E Rank
Skill: Special handseal.
Effect: ---
Special: ---
Drawback: If the user performs "Katsu" for detonation, their is no way to stop the detonation. The Bomb will explode no matter what (Though Certain bombs may be the exception to this rule, stated by the jutsu itself ).
If the user uses "Katsu" to enlarge a clay creature, that said clay creature Cannot revert back to its minuter version. The clay creature enlarges no matter what (Though Certain bombs may be the exception to this rule, stated by the jutsu itself).
Description: A special handseal. This seal denotes "Concentration". A sankuchi uses this sign for a variety of purposes; whether it is to alter the size of certain creations, cause a creation to detonate or give a special effect stated by a certain jutsu/clay creation. The handseal is one of the users hand head upward, his/her index and middle finger held upward, while his/her thumb, ring finger and pinky held inward towards the palm. The user may also hold both the index and middle fingers of both there hands together, crossing there pinky and ring finger, with there thumbs meeting as well. (Either way gives the same effect, no being superior to the other). Katsu is used in a the majority of the Sankuchi jutsus, and its effects are constant unless otherwise stated.
"Katsu" detonates any bomb the user selects, but detonates all of the same bombs for the same set. For example, if the user creates 2 clay spiders for "Tagging bombs" and 2 clay Birds for "Grenade", the user may choose to detonate the clay birds used for "Grenade" and Not the spiders used for "Tagging bomb".
However, the user detonates all the Clay birds at the same time and not one after another. In the case above, once the user decides to detonate the 2 clay birds used in "Grenade", they are both destroyed at the same time. (Some Jutsus may be the exception to this rule, stated by the jutsu itself).
Limit: Only useful to the Sankuchi. Anyone may learn this, but why?
With purposeful steps, Yamato walked out of his house and into his backyard. Today he was learning a clan technique that would become quite important in his future endeavors. Moving towards a nearby table, he grabbed the scroll that his brother had left him. He would've preferred that his brother teach him directly, but his brother was on a mission at this moment. And seeing as how he didn't want to wait, he just told his brother to leave him with the technique scroll. It would be harder without his brother, but it would still be possible. So without further ado, he opened up the scroll and scanned through the text.
Moving a few feet away from the table, Yamato took some clay out of his pouch and began chewing. After he infused his chakra in the clay, he spit it out and tossed it a decent distance away. Performing the handseal that was shown in the scroll, he waiting for the clay to explode. Five seconds, ten, then a minute. Staring at the clay in contemplation, Yamato thought about what he did wrong. He was pretty sure he had infused enough chakra into the clay, so what did he do wrong? Was it his handseal?
Moving back towards the scroll, Yamato carefully read the positions that his fingers needed to be in. He did this for a few more minutes until he was confident in being able to perform the handseal for Katsu without looking at the scroll. Walking back towards his previous spot, Yamato took out another piece of clay and began chewing it. Hopefully it would work this time. Once the clay was infused with his chakra, he spit it out and threw it towards a patch of grass. With a look of intense concentration he shifted the fingers on his hand in the correct positions an yelled out "Katsu!".
A look of satisfaction appeared on his face as his clay exploded with a bang. Yes, that was the result he was looking for. The reason he failed the first time must have been because he had gotten the finger positioning wrong on his hand.
"Don't get a big head just because you got the technique to work once. Try it again to make sure it wasn't a fluke."
Oh, I didn't think about that. Thanking Colm, I took out another piece of clay and began chewing. Once it was infused with chakra, I spat it out and tossed it at the ground. Performing the correct handseal I watched as the clay exploded in the same manner as last time. Looks like it wasn't just a fluke. I repeated this process a couple more times before I was satisfied. I couldn't wait to show Alcor what I had accomplished when he got back from his mission.
