The next ten minutes passed by quickly as Yamato gave his squid various order to fulfill. These orders ranged from performing tricks to attack an object as fast as he could. When he was done messing with his squid, Yamato had it swim out to the middle of the lake. Once it was where he wanted it to be, he performed the Katsu handseal. Less than a second after doing this, his clay squid exploded, shooting quite a bit of water in the sky.
After staring at the explosion for a few minutes, Yamato popped another piece of clay into his mouth. Rolling it around in his mouth, he began the process of moving his chakra. The next few seconds passed by quietly as Yamato scanned for chakra near his throat. Once he found some, he began to direct it towards his mouth. As his chakra passed through his throat, goosebumps began to appear on his neck.
As Yamato ignored the cold feeling, an idea suddenly struck him. Wasn't moving his chakra around his body a good way to keep cool in the summer? When he moved his chakra around in his body, it was always cold. It was so cold that it gave him goosebumps. If he did this when it was hot, wouldn't it be able to cool him down.
It's only cold around your neck though.
His thought was negated by one of the voices in his head. He didn't think about that. The area around his throat was the only spot that was cold. He wondered why that was so. Maybe he would find out why in the future. The response Yamato received didn't stop him from thinking about the situation though. Even if his neck was the only thing that was cooled, it could still be useful. It would help with parched throats in the heat.
If you can survive without oxygen then go for it.
Not even a second later and his idea was shot down. He had forgotten about the lack of oxygen that came with the cold. Yes, no air in your lungs would be a problem. A shame though, Yamato had thought he found something neat out. Shaking his head, he focused on his current task of moving his chakra. Once the chakra reached his mouth, he began pouring it into his clay. He wondered what animal he would create this time around.
