The Uchiha Household

The home of Hiroji Uchiha. He lives here with his parents, elder sister, and younger sister. A simple home like any other, after the incident in the Leaf Village the Uchiha clan lost all implications of being well off and had only their name to them. Over the years Junko and Jiro worked hard and purchased a large building for their children to grow up in. Hiroji spends most of his time here as dislikes the fast moving pace of the world.


The House
Surrounded by a large wall the home of the most well known Uchiha in the Land of Earth is bordered by a large wooden wall. The building itself was once home to a clam of swordsmen however they fell into ruin and died out allowing the current occupants to puprchase and live here. The place consists of several buildings. The first building is the main household and consists of the parents bedroom, Hiroji's bedroom, Rei's bedroom, the living room, and the dining room. There is a second, smaller building which contains Ko's bed room and only that. Further back a third building stands which contains the dojo that the previous swordsman once used to train pupils however it now serves as a place for Ko to train her younger siblings and practice with her parents. Out back, there is a shed which houses lawn and gardening equipment mostly however both Ko and Jiro have some secret files hidden here relating to the Uchiha's. Outside of them Junko is aware of these files however Hiroji and Rei have no knowledge of them.


The Entry
Upon entering the household, once the individual passes through the front door they are met with the entry way. Here they can take their shoes off and wear some guest slippers as they traverse the building. The entryway is decorated by traditional scrolls and paper lanterns creating a simplistic but elegant decor.


The Living Room
Guests are lead to the living room where tea is brought to them. In the middle of the room a small wooden coffee table with a glass top sits decorated with some maroon coloured flowers, a few candles, and a small iron cast bird. White is the theme of the room and the lounge and two accompanying chairs bare this colour as does the rug on the floor and the walls which are a cream colour.


The Dining Room
When the Uchiha family sits down to eat they do so in the traditional fashion. The table is low cut so that the family has to sit on the teal green tatami mats. Everything in the dining room is rather traditional and the overall colour scheme is a gentle shade of brown and beige. Behind the table is a small kitchen littered with various pots and pans. Junko spends a lot of her time here cooking for the family, trying out new food combinations to keep her children on their toes and happy.


The Halls
To get to the other rooms in the house one has to traverse the hallways. Open air, these halls need to be swept every day as they are exposed to the outside. Wooden pillars line the hall every couple of meters allowing for a great view of the garden in the back.


Hiroji's Room
A simple room Hiroji has never been allowed to have his room messy as his sister Ko had always reprimanded him harshly for doing so. As such he never really allowed himself to have many possession. He never grew a liking for the toys that the other children coveted and he found himself doing his own laundry unlike the other boys. since his childhood he has kept his bedsheets blue in colour as he likes the colour contrast with what he usually wears. Next to his single bed he keeps a desk in neat order with a small lamp and books so he can study at his will. At the foot of his bed at the back of the room is a long line of bookshelves, a few photo frames on a lower shelf, and drawers where his clothing is kept. All is kept in a tidy order.


Rei's Room
The complete opposite of Hiroji's room, Rei's room is a complete mess of a room. Clothing and games litter the floor as does her bed sheets at times. She keeps a small wooden guitar that had seen better days in the room as well as a television and computing system. It's hard to say what one could find in here as she constantly brings home gifts from her friends and boys who had confessed to her, she turned them down. She has a lot of shelves with littered with all her things and books, sporadically, as well as a large desk with small collectibles and ceramic animals, and her walls are littered with band posters.


Parent's Room
Simple living at its finest, the room is mostly comprised of a large queen sized bed with red blankets. Clothing and such is kept in drawers beneath the bed. On each side of the bed are small bedside tables each with a drawer and a small red lamp. On the walls are paintings mostly with paper fan imagery.


Ko's Room
Despite her stern mannerisms, Ko actually has quite feminine tastes. Her room is kept neat and tidy as it's filled sparsely with stuffed animals. A black iron cast bed sits in the corner beneath a wooden framed window fitted with pink linen and pillows. Overhead of the bed is an air-conditioning unit up high and a rustic painting of trees and a row boat splayed beneath. To the side of the bed is a small, lacquer dresser with three drawers. At the foot of the bed is a desk with an office chair, the desk itself has three drawers filled with learning material and is fitted with a small shelf for books and an overhead lamp for studying.



The Dojo
A remnant of the previous owners the Dojo is a room thirty meters squared with ahrd timber flooring. This room is used for the Taijutsu practices of the family however only the three older family members make proper use of it as Hiroji and Rei lack the interest in the physical arts nd they only train when forced to do so by Ko.

The members of the Uchiha household other than Hiroji. All shinobi, they are capable of defending themselves however at home they like to live simple lives and act relaxed in the home atmosphere.

Not just his immediate family, the Uchiha clan means a lot to him especially after the events of the great downfall.

Playful but not a pushover, she used to be a shinobi and so she's actually quite disciplined. She wakes up every morning and trains her body with her husband and elder daughter, who she loves very much.

To sum Ko up in a single word she would be called - Strict. On occasion she is borderline malicious with her attitude and actions, she forces Hiroji to focus on studies and furthering his academics like a mother hen and if he strays she punishes him severely. As such she is seen as an authority figure in the family, on par with the parents to the younger siblings. As an Uchiha, she has a great deal of pride in the fact she is a member of the clan and she holds herself in high regard however, despite this. She sees Hiroji as the future head of the household and not herself. In the modern age where women ahve equal rights she still vacates her right to family succession in favour of her younger brother.

She is friendly and kind to a fault, the opposite of her older sister, and cheerful, always carrying a smile. She has the attention span of a squirrel and is constantly on the move, adopting new hobbies frequently, such as playing the guitar, only to move on to the next thing the next day. Completely unaware of the hostilities of her older siblings she is adored by them and she herself loves the rest of her family lots and lots. A lot of boys confess their feelings to her because of her bright disposition however she turns them down as she couldn't think of any other boy comparing to her older brother.

The day was young when Hiroji returned home. Previously he had left to attend to some Kage duties but now he was rather free as his sister was pretty much running the show for him right now. It was nice to have such little work flow but for someone else, even if it was her, to take over his duties it was kind of irritating. Pushing the thoughts from his mind Hiroji sat along the open hallway of his home with the sun beaming down in his face. Another lazy morning in the life of Hiroji Uchiha. How droll. As he lazed about doing nothing the sounds of actual effort caught his ears. Seemed as though his father was training his little sister Rei in the dojo area. The sound of stomping feet rang in his ears for another few minutes whilst he just lounged in the hall way. He was quite comfortable where he sat so he didn't feel much like getting up to investigate. In his black shirt and blue slacks he felt cool and at ease despite the sun. After a while his father and sister came out of the dojo and noticed him lying around. "Oh, you're back son?" his father beckoned of him as he waltzed through the dojo door. Rei slinked out behind him with a wobble in her step. She wasn't much for physical exercise, it taxed her body a bit too much but still her father and older sister made her do it. "Yeah, Ko's finishing up for me. Control freak she is." His father merely chuckled in response and called over Rei into the yard for further training.

He explained to her that he was now going to be instructing her on how to perform the fireball jutsu without hand signs. A complaint and a speech later they started training as Hiroji watched. He hadn't ever actually done this before himself so he activated his sharingan as his father started a demonstration of the technique. The man merely took a deep breath and blew a fireball in the sky without much effort or hand signs, he just did it. Usually even Hiroji had to form the signs for the jutsu so this was quite a sight for him to behold, even more so as this was the fabled technique of the Uchiha clan. It made sense that his father could perform the technique. Hiroji seen everything his father did however with his sharingan so he actually got quite a good look at it. WIth his sharingan he actually saw how his father moulded the chakra in his body quite effectively. Without those hand signs the chakra he formed was almost instantly blazing with fire energy. His father was a master of the release so for Hiroji to be able to see him in action with his own eyes, well it was a great learning opportunity.

Part of the sharingan allowed the user to see chakra elemets, another part allowed the user to copy that so Hiroji got a great deal from that small showing. His sister however was not proficient with the sharingan as of yet so she saw nothing of the sort and she struggled with the jutsu. She began to attempt it but ended up breathing nothing but hot air. She kept it up for a while attempting to copy her father but Hiroji's sharingan saw through it all. His father had the whole jutsu compiled in a second. His sister couldn't get it anywhere near close enough to get a spark. In her frustration she began to throw a tantrum and in her anger she looked over to Hiroji. Now Hiroji being Hiroji, an older brother to the girl having such a hard time with the technique and getting frustrated, he could go over and help her out, give her some encouragement, or a word of advice and he knew it. SO of course he didn't do it. Instead his eyes rolled back in his head and he built up his chakra in an instant, copying his father though to a much lesser degree. He turned his head and blew a small trail of fire from his mouth in an act of superiority and belittlement.

Rei was pissed by his attitude and resolved herself to figuring out just what to do and how to do it under the tutelage of her father. Proud of himself, Hiroji reclined back on the wooden floor boards of the hall way and spread himself out. In his head he went over just what he did and took note of the effects it had on him. First off the act of forming the fire style chakra was something he wasn't quite used too. Whilst his sharingan showed him how to do it he found the experience foreign to him and it made him uneasy. Next up it took a lot more out of him than he thought it would for such a small flame. When he thought about it more he actually questioned if he could utilise the technique at a grand scale for a prolonged amount of time and honestly, he couldn't see himself doing it. Not without more practice anyway but how could he practice when he was so comfortable right now? He resigned himself to continuing to laze about but felt a surge in his body. He stomach rumbled and he felt something in him coming out. He immediately focused his chakra in his lungs and readied himself.

In the next instance he burped rather loudly with a tiny ball of fire escaping his lips in the process. Mission accomplished.

As Hiroji reclines he continued to watch his younger sister and their father practice their jutsu. Thinking back on his own training of this technique, their father was never the one who taught him how to do it. The fireball jutsu was taught to him by his sister, who took command of all his training. Still, this was a new addition to his repertoire this sealless fireball technique. Thinking back once more Hiroji tried to imagine a time when he had performed a jutsu without the use of hand signs on his own. There was only one instance that he had ever done that could be attributed to such a thing, the one time he had used a genjutsu to fool a random civilian. Going over what happened in his mind he had used this jutsu an unusual way. Rather than the hand signs connected to the use of jutsu he had actually focused chakra into his eyes and almost hypnotised his target so when he had spoken to them they couldn't help but go along with what he had said. Was that because he was used to using his sharingan? Was it because he used his sharingan so freely that he was able to easily build up his chakra that way and effectively perform the jutsu like that?

That was most likely the reason, there was probably more to it than that but that train of thought wasn't important right now. This wasn't a jutsu you could use in that manner so he had to figure a way to make his body do as wanted. Jutsu without seals was tricky. That small fireball he produced earlier. He focused his chakra as he always did but as he evaluated what had happened, the amount of chakra used was vastly insufficient. He recalled what his sister had told him about hand signs, that hand signs were used to focused the chakra, mould it to fit the jutsu. That was how new jutsu was created and how techniques formed so, he had to become efficient enough to mould chakra on his own without hand signs. Easier said then done, once you learn an easy way to do something you're hard pressed to go a harder route. Still, this would probably save his life one day. He began to circulate his chakra in his body as he lay on the ground and relaxed. Without hand signs this was simply general chakra, chakra in its purest form but that in itself gave him some insight on what to do.

Remembering the small trail of fire he spewed a moment ago he was able to this surmise that he was on the cusp of figuring out how to turn his general chakra into fire style chakra. He remembered the feeling of the fire ball jutsu when he had formed the hiand signs and compered the two. The fire ball jutsu chakra was different than this. It was more, explosive. No, maybe corrosive was the right way to explain. Were there words for how it really felt? Maybe not. But it wasn't like this so he had to do something. He ahd to take that feeling he had before and turn the feeling he had now into it. To do that he found the small parts of that chakra in his system that had the same feeling and amplified it. It wasn't much as first but he kept at it though lightly. So this was the chakra that formed the small fire before. Something clicked in his head. This chakra was not the chakra he had to focus, this was already fire like chakra, his training had ensured that at least a part of his chakra was already like this, it's previous disposition as it were. So that meant, he had to change the rest of his chakra to match this.

So that's how it was done. He began a new train of thought and a new method of action and began to alter the structure of the general chakra in his system. As he focused he found that he was able to change it rather easily but it wasn't to what he needed it to be. He would shift it one way and it would almost feel light, he would focus it another way and it would almost feel energising. This wasn't what he needed but it was getting closer. The energising feel, that was a way point Hiroji figured and went that way for a moment. He pushed beyond that energising feeling and reached what he needed. Beyond the energy was the firey feeling he required. The feeling like the chakra in his body was about to explode at any second but began to almost fizzle in his veins. This was is. He didn't allow this chakra out of his body and instead simply moved it to his throat and held it there. As he continued to simply breath smoke lightly spewed from his mouth as if he was smoking a cigarette but in actuality it was more like what a dragon would do as it lay in its cave.

Every external breath pushed more smoke from his body as Hiroji relented that he could now understand the ability to perform fire jutsu without the need for hand signs. He was able to comprehend it but still, he should actually practice it to see just how far he could press this ability. Later. He was far to comfortable right now. What Hiorji had just done however was not unnoticed by his father. By all means, Hiroji (in his fathers opinion) was an under achieving genius. Hiroji's ability to figure out exactly how to perform the sealless jutsu in mere seconds was incredible. Jiro himself took several months to do it but Hiroji took a total of ten seconds. What Ko had seen in Hiroji was completely evident in this moment. Once Jiro had thought Ko to be a prodigy, and she was in her own right, but Hiroji was several levels above her. He wasn't needed in the lives of these two children, he wasn't able to pass his knowledge onto them. Rei on the other hand, she was an ideal candidate for his training. Not naturally inclined as the other older children, instead it was his training that was going to make her strong. Still he had to somehow make use of Hiroji and Ko in her training so as to not turn them against one another.

Rei was on the cusp of grasping the jutsu herself, unlike Hiroji however this was after several weeks of training up to this point with a focus on lower level jutsu first. Hiroji just went straight to the big ones and mastered it in an instant. Rei took a deep breath in and began to build her chakra. Hiroji and his father watched on as she did so and a small stream of fire escaped her lips and she forced her breath and chakra from her lungs. It was about the level of Hiroji's small flame earlier but a tad smaller. Rei, having made her first mildly successful attempt at this jutsu smiled and her father congratulated her but informed her there was much more to do still. "That was good Rei but nowhere near enough." Rei pouted. "Whatever, I'm as good as Hiroji now at least!" she exclaimed stubbornly, not knowing that he had never even trained the technique before today. "As good as Hiroji you say?" He turned to his son and enquired about his actions. "Are you just going to let her say that?"

Hiroji, reluctantly, got to his feet. Of course he wasn't going to let that slide. It was an older brothers job to destroy his younger sister. Smoke still pouring form his lips he built his chakra and focused it to fire chakra. A steady stream of flame shot from his mouth for a straight few seconds and he got up and walked over to his sister. It was about time he showed her the difference between them and the level he was at, plus he wanted to test himself for a moment.

With a confident air in his step Hiroji walked toward his sister who at this point had realised her mistake but wasn't backing down just yet. Jiro actually posed a challenge to Hiroji. "Don't just demonstrate the fire ball jutsu, show her the scale of what fire ball jutsu can be. I haven't actually gone much further than the fireball jutsu at this point so this will be a good experience for her." So his father wanted Hiroji to show Rei just how strong her older brother really was. He had never done such a thing before, never really showed her his potential. He smiled. "If you say so, Rei. Don't be scared now." Infuriated by her brother Rei insisted that she wouldn't be with an angry grunt. Hiroji cracked a few of his fingers and decided to get started. First up was the fireball jutsu. He had already somewhat started this one already so it was the obvious choice of where to start. Hiroji began to build up his chakra in his lungs without hand signs and took a deep breath. His target was nonexistant, simply the sky above him. With a great show of force a giant ball of fire flew from Hiroji's lips and only got bigger as it traveled upward. It soared high into the air and exploded with a great explosion. Turning to his sister Hiroji could see that she had not yet become as competent with this jutsu as he thought as her look of shock and surprise was evident on her face.

Was his father taking her training slow in order to bring about good habits and reduce bad ones? A cautious approach like that suited him and was probably the best form of training for the highly distractable Rei. He couldn't help but respect him for that but right now, it was time to induct Rei into the realms of the higher ability. Her first glimpse of power. Hiroji began to build up more chakra in his body. This time it was for the dragon fire technique. Again the target being the sky Hiroji brought his chakra to a different tune in his body. Rather than a simple ball this jutsu was more complicated but Hiroji understood the mechanics. Rather than simple chakra in his lungs he began to build his chakra into the basic shape of a dragon and from his mouth he spat it out. The difference between the fireball technique and this one was clearly evident in both shape but also the manner of loss of energy. As the dragon flew into the sky it lost energy as it streamed from its body. Fire oozed from it giving it the appearance of being much larger than it really was and highly impressing Rei who hadn't seen this technique as of yet. One thing of note however was the fact that despite the shape being different, the function was the same. It also exploded high in the sky with a powerful explosion.

As embers fell to the earth Jiro smirked contently. He was proud of his son. "Good. Hiroji, you're really coming into your own. Your sister has taught you well." He turned his attention again to Rei and began to instruct her. "This is just a sample of what you yourself will master Rei. Train hard." She smiled brightly and nodded her head but in an instant both herself and her father snapped their heads back around to face Hiorji in shock.

As of yet, Hiroji noted that he hadn't shown his own father the extent of his abilities. Ko had taught him some wonderful things so, for his father, he decided to show them. He built his chakra inside his body as his father spoke with Rei. This time it was in massive amount. Rather than the energy needed for the fireball jutsu, this time he built it up several times over and began to pool all the chakra into his lungs. Comparing this technique with the others was idiotic, this was several levels greater than the other techniques. The chakra he built up was incredible, it wasn't even fair. It was around this time that Jiro whipped his head around in shock. His sharingan was still active so he was able to fathom just what Hiroji was doing to a greater degree than Rei but she knew something was coming, even if she couldn't see it. Power. Hiroji wanted power now. His body shifted from his relaxed stance and become alert and strong. A quick glance to his father told him that this was going to be something extraordinary. With a quick couple of bursts several dragons leapt from the Tsuchikage's lips and flew high into the air. They roared through the air and collided high above the ground and engulfed one another in an enormous explosion much greater than what had been displayed previously but the most impressive thing was the intense heat that came from it. The temperature changed in an instant as a great deal of light was cast from the explosion.

Next the sky darkened and loud snaps of lightning and thunder erupted in the sky as storm clouds appeared high above. Jiro and Rei were both stunned. Hiroji's display of power was beyond their expectations. Jiro had been aware of this jutsu but was unable to himself master it as the amount of chakra it required was immense. And Hiroji did it as a teenager without the use of hand signs. As the rain came down hard and Hiroji retreated to the cover of the house Jiro and Rei stood with mouths agape. For the first time they experienced something about their family member they had never even considered to be a possibility. Jiro, and Rei, they felt fear. Fear of Hiroji.

For the first time, even as he just moments ago had thought about this topic, for the first time. Jiro understood what Ko had seen inside Hiroji, he understood that Hiroji's potential was far to great for him to comprehend and he understood at this very moment what Ko felt all those years ago as he was now feeling it. Terror. He was terrified of Hiroji.

With it storming outside now Hiroji went back into his room and thought about what he had done. As he was building up chakra in his body he had managed several kinds of chakra creation but only really found success with the fire style. It probably meant he was best suited for it which made sense as he was an Uchiha. That said, Genjutsu is where he shined best so that probably had some sort of attachment to it as well. As he continued this train of thought however he thought about his fire style jutsu. He was quite adept at its usage but a single specialisation is not the greatest. What would pair well with it he wondered for a brief instance until he thought of it. In his mind earth paired best with fire. Water would be better actually, perhaps wind, but being a fire style specialist these were probably polar opposites and harder to master. Still, when he had built his chakra earlier he noted that wind style chakra was probably the lighter style of chakra he felt himself build up and he hadn't even felt what could be earth or water style chakra. This probably implied he wasn't as well adept with these styles though perhaps not.

Trailing though his body Hiroji began to build up his chakra and found himself hitting the large burning, ready to explode feeling of chakra style. He had gotten quite adept with this style of chakra but it wasn't what he was looking for. INstead he searched for the light feeling chakra he had experienced previously. To him this style of chakra was not the earth style chakra he was looking for but he figured this was a good guiding post as the chakra he desired was probably the exact opposite in feeling to this chakra. He sat down on his bed and meditated for a brief while with this chakra and began to search within himself the feeling that best opposed this style of chakra. As he did so he found himself unable to sense anything to what he wanted. The constant prsence of the fire style chakra, the feeling of the energising chakra to which he attributed to lightning chakra, he felt that within him as well but he couldn't find anything outside that and this caused him a moment of distress.

He had heard that people usually only are able to find on or two styles of chakra which suited them so were these the chakra styles he was restricted to? Hiroji didn't want to believe that just yet. There had to be something more than that. From memory of his brief time at the shinobi academy the hand sign attributed to the earth release was the snake sign so perhaps that would lead him to the answer he sought. He clasped his hands together and began to build his chakra. It was slow at first, he felt himself building chakra but in an instant the chakra he built began to shift and change. Like a delayed reaction a sense of heavy energy flooded him and Hiroji found himself inundated with with chakra. This felt a lot different than his fire style chakra and somewhat different than the other styles of chakra he felt himself build up earlier as well but it wasn't something he found unnatural to him. If he had to actually say which felt more natural, the lightning style chakra he built up, the wind style, or earth style. In actuality he would most likely say the earth chakra but would he be able to use it? He wasn't sure quite yet.

In his hands he began to pool his chakra. He was attempting to materialise the essence of this chakra, come to think of it however he only assumed this was earth chakra. He hadn't actually done anything with this chakra yet. It could very well be water jutsu or either wind or lightning. Only one way to find out though he supposed. With a quick burst of energy Hiroji let his chakra materialise what ever it was and looked at his hand. In the teens hands he cupped a small amount of dirt after this action indicating he was indeed accessing earth style chakra. Step one complete he supposed.

Description: The user takes the time to push into the ground by using their Earth Release. The user pushes into the ground quickly so that to be used against the opponent later on. The user at this point cannot necessarily move within the ground at this moment, but the user does know by feel of when an opponent is right above. When an opponent is right under the user reaches up to take the opponent and drag them back down to the ground in one fell swoop without movement or notice. The opponent is unable to move for one post and the user is capable of slamming out of the ground with one movement.

The next day as the thunder storm had long since passed Hiroji retreated to the furthest corner of the yard. Here he was going to work on his earth jutsu a little with the help of a small scroll he had stashed away in his family's library. The double suicide decapitation technique. An intriguing name but Hiroji honestly couldn't see how it warranted such a name as by description this technique had no actual decapitation involved. Probably something to do with the history of the jutsu. Hiroji practiced the hand signs a few times and got a hang of them. From the description of the jutsu he was to push himself under the earth with this jutsu so Hiroji kneeled close to the ground and gave it his first attempt. He formed the hand signs and began to build up his chakra. Touching his hands to the ground he began to push it into the earth and felt something he hadn't expected.

Rather than make him hard like a nail this jutsu seemingly made the earth somewhat permeable to his body. He almost sunk into the ground but found himself failing to actually go down. Most likely due to not expecting what would happen, diagrams can only do so much after all. With confidence on what to do now Hiroji formed the hand signs for the jutsu again and began to sink down into the ground. The ground was mushed away from him and he sunk well into the earth. A little too well. Hiroji found himself stuck in the ground but that wasn't the worst of it. Breathing was a thing that people did. It was really hard for Hiroji to do that right now. Moving was hard as well. He quickly formed the hand signs again in a rather panicked attempt at escape and he willed himself up and out of the earth a little shaken but okay. This jutsu, maybe the double suicide thing wasn't such a strange name. He almost died just now himself.

Not deterred by his failure the Tsuchikage chose to learn from it and once again formed the hand signs for the jutsu and pushed himself into the ground. Unlike last time, this time he found breathing a much easier task. Moving on the other hand was still a difficult thing to do so whilst a minor success was made he found himself still somewhat lacking with this jutsu. Earth jutsu was a little tricky. Climbing out of his little hole he figured that he would have to maintain a little bit of chakra flow in his body so he could properly move once he was under the ground. Another attempt Hiroji formed the hand signs and went under the ground once more. Now, moving was meant to be possible here but not overly easy. With his chakra he pushed through the ground a short distance before rising quickly from the ground with the image of clasping onto someone or something with the action to simulate the intent of the jutsu. Success at long last. Now onto the next thing...
