[Putting the other tech on hold, transiting to something else here in a moment.]
Amira couldn’t help but feel sadness for how much Peisinoe fought against her humanity. Her stoic expression, her pity, and her overall demeanor was clearly understood by Peisinoe, and she knew that she would surely turn hostile at her words, just like every other time. Yet Amira didn’t fear such actions, and even welcomed the idea of Peisinoe trying to express other emotions beyond her gluttonous nature that she so profoundly attempted to defend. When Peisinoe reached out to strike her upon the face, Amira didn’t recoil, she didn’t flinch, in fact she simply made eye contact with Peisinoe as the hand would pat her face. “Will you ever learn?” Amira muttered with a sigh as she would clasp Peisinoe’s hand just after her attempted slap. Caressing it gently, guiding her hand down towards Amira’s torso level as she was kneeling down beside her beaten form, clasping both hands around Peisinoe’s. “You keep asking why?” Amira said quietly for just her and Peisinoe to hear as she let her expressions soften a bit as she felt she could level with Peisinoe now more than ever.
“It’s because Krystal, That girl, and I genuinely care for you…in one form or another.” Amira said as she would reach over Peisinoe to gently remove her shuriken from her shoulder, putting it back in her butt bag. “You’re right, in that I don’t think you above me…because you’re not, like it or not you’re just as human as I am.” Amira said smiling softly as she didn’t say such a thing out of spite, but to express the truth to the deluded Siren. Taking her sleeve, Amira wiped the blood from Peisinoe’s mouth as she continued to hold her hand as Fumiko approached. “Genuine love, a true friend, is worth more than a thousand servants…try to think about that okay.” Amira said softly as Peisinoe looked drowsy, as if Loki’s words had affected her in some fashion physically, which was fairly demonstrative of the witch’s abilities. As Peisinoe would continue to drift off, Amira would turn to Fumiko momentarily. “Take care of my nemesis for me will you?” She asked sweetly as she would pat Fumiko’s head if permitted sweetly before turning back to Peisinoe who was surely lulling to sleep by now. “Peisinoe, one more thing…I want you to know your singing is really lovely, I hope one day you can share your gift with me having to stop you.” Amira said softly as she would take a tracer from her butt bag and quickly would look back to Loki as she stood up once more.
“Alright Boss I’ll clean up here then, just take this with you so that I can locate you when I’m done here.” She said tossing the tracker towards Loki’s center of mass, making sure to gauge the range and assuring that the projectile was catchable. She had to remember sometimes that Loki was more proficient in spells than marital techniques sometimes. Figuring Loki would know what to do with all this, Amira looked back over to Junko, Crystal, and the guy, Shiki, as she made her approach. She was about to address them, when suddenly the cat women started…Kissing. Amira had to fight the urge to shield her eyes as she made her way forward, the top part of her face read with embarrassment as she would continue on to speak to Shiki. He seemed to be nice enough, as he thanked her for her assistance, which Amira couldn’t help but feel a bit flattered. “Oh it was nothing really, keep saying things like that could get to a girl’s head.” She said, flattered by his thanks, but still she felt as if she wasn’t whole hearted in taking the credit as she had been trying to simply prevent the fellow’s death opposed to killing Peisinoe like he surely thought. “All the same, you don’t need my permission to say your good-byes.” Amira said patting the fellow on the shoulder as he surely would have the right to see his friends off.
Amira couldn’t help but feel touched at the gentle embrace of the pair quickly brought warm thoughts of prosperity to mind. It was over almost as quickly as it started. The sudden change in Junko’s demeanor and her obvious sudden rush of what Amira could only interpret as anger suddenly flashed in the cat woman’s body language. It was hard to understand exactly what was causing such quick change in character; however Amira surmised that loneliness, being apart from something that she surely must have always taken for granted as she watched and felt the heat arising in a heavy wave. In all honestly it was dangerous to be doing something so risky upon a wooden ship; however Amira figured that she could cool the air around them down enough to keep them from bursting into flames. Shiki’s facial expression was in a mix of awe, confusion, and concern. Amira couldn’t help but approach as she suddenly watched what it was that Shiki was looking at as a huge flame dragon would suddenly being forming from the heat.
“Whoa…that’s impressive, but I can see so much rage, anger, desperation in those flames…” Amira said, analyzing the poor young woman as she surely wanted to be alone. Shiki would surely run to Junko if she were to let him, and even at that if Junko came back he would have a sweetheart response that Junko probably neither wanted nor needed. She was in need of something more than the brisk love of Shiki, but instead she probably longed for her sister’s love, which Amira couldn’t help but feel saddened at the fact that Peisinoe had unknowingly caused such a problem. “Shiki…whatever you do…don’t emotionally stress her…she seems distressed, and maybe…” Amira said, surely cut off as Shiki would embrace Junko, or to the very least would attempt to. Amira wasn’t one to break-up emotional moments like this, but if things turned hairy…then She might have to do something to protect the life of this poor fellow, alas Amira didn’t think Junko much of a killer as it was though.
She let the pair interact with no interruption as she crossed her arms, feeling the warm sun shining down through the clouds as the storm broke, letting the light though. She had a bad feeling about how Junko was going to respond to Shiki, and the poor kid might be in for some heartbreak, but alas Amira would do her best to be there for the fellow if he needed emotional support. It was this kind of stuff that she was supposed to be good at after all. She stood there, silent as a statue, awaiting whatever it was that was going to happen between the two, listening with open ears and doing her best to remain attentive as she focused on keeping the two peaceful.
