Tetsu sighed as he quietly listened to Sakurai, keeping his focus on keeping his Kagemane connected via the Locking tag that impaled both of their shadows. He listened as Claire told him about her life story, and he couldn’t really relate. He had lived in a world of conflict, lies, and power struggles since he was a little kid. He had grown up in the leaf village, and he always found himself not caring for the struggles for power that continued to plague the village. Loki, Goesi, and Amarante, all they were interested in was power and control. Tetsu felt his own control over his Kagemane Shadow technique holding fairly well as he did his best to keep his chakra flowing down into his own shadow as the invisible thread in between each seals that were impaled into the shadows of both Tetsu and Claire as he held her in place. “You know, that sounds peaceful and all….but I can’t really relate.” Tetsu said in a relaxed manner as he relaxed as a bit, letting his shadow influence Claire’s paralysis that would surely give her time to think.
“I grew up here in the leaf village, and my dad abandoned my mother and me when I was only about two years old.” Tetsu said calmly as he kept his focus targeted towards his Kagemane Shadow Shuriken no Jutsu, keeping Claire in one spot wasn’t too difficult; however it took a good deal of his chakra as he continued telling his story. “I’ve only known abandonment…not to mention everyone in this god forsaken village hates me.” Tetsu said thinking about how much everyone despised him, and how much he hated them and their stupid game of thrones. “They play stupid power games with the powerless people of the world, thinking what they want is more important,” Tetsu grumbled in complaint as he kept his focus on keeping his shadow connected with Claire’s. They were sharing both their background and a connection between their shadows that Tetsu was now moderating in a way that kept Claire from moving. He wondered if she had noticed that she was unable to move yet, Tetsu thought to himself as he continued with his story. “So personally I don’t mind doing these missions, but their a pain in the ass, besides I can’t help but not like doing them…because it just keeps us playing their stupid games.” Tetsu said with a sigh as his shadow stayed put to keep things fluent.
“alas, maybe you’re right about not being able to set aside the sword…conflict is all I know, it’s infused with my very being…and yours.” Tetsu said with a sigh of annoyance as he knew it to be true that they couldn’t go back now. “it’s only fitting that we keep fighting for the sake of fighting…yet maybe there is hope yet…maybe we can fight for something like hope.” Tetsu said quietly as he closed his specticaled eyes and exhaled a breath of the fresh air around them. He kept his shadowy focus and channeled his chakra down into his shadow some more as he did so at a well calculated rate that would give him some decent time to hold Claire in place while she continued to glow. It was relaxing sitting there in the quiet as his shadow and Claire’s connected through the chakra thread that connected them in that very moment. The symbolic thought of them connecting on a one on one level like they were was only solidified by the fact that he had connected their shadow through locking tags. Chuckling a bit as he figured Claire wasn’t having a good time being stuck in one spot, he crouched down and placed his hand around the hilt of the kunai.
“Sorry about holding you there like that by the way…I was just trying something out,” Tetsu said as he figured his technique would be deactivated if he removed the kunai from his shadow. Technically, the blade was still charged with the Kagemane chakra; however it was perfectly okay to let her go. Removing the blade from the ground, letting Claire move freely without restraint. His blade was still in Claire’s shadow; however she could easily move about now. If he wanted to trap her again, all he would have to do would be place the weapon back into place; which would be a perfectly fine way to immobilize her again; however he didn’t see much reason behind paralyzing her again. “Claire all the same, maybe people like you and I…we can find something to fight for together eh?” he said lazily as he did his best to keep his cool as he hoped she wouldn’t be mad at the fact that he had used his shadow to paralyze her.
