Effect: A length of strong cord made by twisting together strands of natural fibers such as hemp or artificial fibers such as polypropylene.

Drawback: Hard on the hands, may burn skin if rubbed quickly.
Description: A Two-Handed Weapon. These weapons do +4 Amour Points of Damage. A rope is a linear collection of plies, yarns or strands which are twisted or braided together in order to combine them into a larger and stronger form. Ropes have tensile strength and so can be used for dragging and lifting, but are far too flexible to provide compressive strength. As a result, they cannot be used for pushing or similar compressive applications. Rope is thicker and stronger than similarly constructed cord, line, string, and twine. When using Basic Rope over 1.2 m (1 to 4 feet) they are treated as a 2-handed weapon. Basic Rope under 1.2 m (1 to 4 feet) are treated as 1-handed weapons. If the user learns Wield Oversized Weapon the user is able to wield the weapon 1-handed.

Effect: A rock device created to use as a source for creating a spark.

Description: Picture Flint is a hard, sedimentary cryptocrystalline form of the mineral quartz, categorized as a variety of chert. It occurs chiefly as nodules and masses in sedimentary rocks, such as chalks and limestones. Inside the nodule, flint is usually dark grey, black, green, white, or brown in colour, and often has a glassy or waxy appearance. A thin layer on the outside of the nodules is usually different in colour, typically white and rough in texture. Description: Picture The Baseplate Compass is one of the most common and affordable types of compass. The liquid-filled compass mounts on a rectangular base made of clear plastic. The Baseplate Compass often includes a magnifying lens for map reading, luminous components for low-light conditions and different scales for worldwide use. Description: A device that shows where a tracer is located within the range of 500 miles (Normally capable to read out information within a Board. See Map for more sizes). This device is 4 inches by 1 inch by 2 inches. It has a small LCD screen along with a set of buttons to display locations of tracers. The tracer's location only emits the general area it may be in and does not give any specifics, such as blueprints of housing. The Tracking Device comes in all shapes and colors depending on the user's choice when purchasing. Tracers must first be configured with the Tracking Device. The Tracking Device also has a zooming capability to make tracking easier for the user.

A few days have passed like wind over water. It was unobstructed and generally speaking, one of the more mentality and physically exhausting experiences of her life, it was uneventful- No one to speak to, no one to interact with. "Hells. I haven't even come across a bloody animal... 'Ever thought it would be this quiet- But .. I guess I aught to be thankful, could be 'worse'" she thought to herself. A facial expression to convey the distaste in her thoughts, in the environment getting hotter and more humid the nearer she drew to the large river South of Konohagakure no Sato.
A few days prior, she examined a publicly posted map. Something for people to recognize the geography of the world and what they could fantasize about travelling to. Noticing that nearly directly South of the village entrance was a large river, if one headed unobstructed South; they would reach the furthest northern point of the river. Where; in most circumstances will have a checkpoint for boats.

So that is where she steered her course. Understandably; it wasn't very difficult, for someone who's navigated from the lands of Shimo no Kuni to Hi no Kuni this was generally a cakewalk- Having a compass helped too.

The weather stayed fairly mild, except the heat. Little rain; only patches here and there. The canopy of the trees surrounding helped keep the direct sun from bothering her too much throughout the trip. And the excess of beds of water helped her maintain what hygiene was possible in such expeditions. This however, didn't halt any dirt patches, mud and insects from assaulting her clothes and possessions whenever they got the chance.

On the fourth day; she arrived to a rather remarkable and vast river- Or at least that's what it was called. Looked closer to a lake that spanned forever. No less- She started pacing herself slower. She found the river now, just the transportation. Heading down towards the flow of water south-west. As the map dictated, would be towards the ocean and the border of River.
By early afternoon, she came across a number of fishers and tradesmen. Making deals for product to be transported and resold. Hailing their attention, passing some short discussion and an agreeance on providing some assistance in labour. The captain of the transport ship permitted her attendance to board. After-all it was heading to the village of Sukuinushi no Shinseina Basho.
The passing of the border was a fairly easy task. With no real way of confirming crew, they passed through with the simple knowledge of the boat and its identity.
Her work wasn't anything too far out her own capabilities. With some general knowledge of working with ropes, crewmen and moving equipment; the hardest to overcome, was the bobbing and the overall working of water in such large quantities. It never made her sick, but it surely made her uncomfortable.

About a week passed, the open waters of the ocean being their new home. She tried to keep above deck as often as possible- Sometimes stowing herself in the crows nest. Partly her own interest in the vast sights, but it also kept -her- out of sight, a matter that was far more important than investing too much time in socializing.
When they docked, she was given the farewell. And a warning to avoid going into any slummy parts of the village as most tradesmen will warn- Although common knowledge, she accepted it with grace. And took her departure into the city, making little time to actually stop. With the exception of information gathering, refueling on food, travel rations and water for the departure out of the village.
Such information gathering- Was extended to finding a fairly open tavern, one that was on a main-stretch of the village to avoid any unruly environments. In order to request information on the dojo under the foundation of Kenshin Kazume; not to her surprise, it was a fairly known name and was directed with a piece of parchment that she drew out as the man described the nearby region- It was shoddy, but with the hopes of not running amiss due to random outposts and smaller villages to retrack, paired with her compass. She took to the 'road' again.

Sporting her usual scowl; with an emphasis on displeasement, after-all. She wasn't one for heat- Going to the hottest land in the world was never her life-goal. Nor will it be a proud accomplishment in the future either.

Through the days, nothing particularly remarkable happened. It was as expected- Scorching hot days, cold and dreadful nights that howled the winds like specters on the hunt. It wasn't terribly different than what she had encountered in the passed- just slightly more warmer. Finding shelter was the largest hurdle, caves were far and few between. On a number of occasions, she created a dig out at a high-peak and masked her eyes, nose and mouth and slept in the uncomfortable situation; least she knew she'd wake up the next day.

When she did arrive. The dojo seemed, abandoned- however in the silence of the desert; she knew it wasn't. As the building reverberated with echoing sounds and the clang of steel, clunks of wood and the uncomfortable sound of flesh to flesh combat. It was comforting to know, that she hadn't gotten lost nor did the sands wash her away into the darkness of time.

Upon reaching the entrance door her attention was drawn to the door that stood in monolithic proportions, the wood that looked old and dried to the core, appeared to weigh hundred of pounds- this applied to both. The metal was rustic, and bolted along supports in the back she imagined, although old- It wasn't rusted and appeared taken care of from the elements as best as the residence could.
Taking a deep inhale, she bolstered her mind and body; standing straight and lifted her right hand. Clenching it tightly and banged against the wood with the bottom of her hand- as to not damage anything that she may need. Namely, the knuckles and wrist. In-spite the lesser way to gather attention, the door shook loudly within'- judging by the echo that is. A moment passed, noticing the door had shifted ever so slightly, creaking open an attendant greeted her with a smile, without a word he stepped back and motioned her in with an open hand.

Looking back to the door, while the attendant closed it carefully. Presenting a calm smile, a brief bow; Chance then spoke "Hello, my name is Akame, Chance. Could you direct me to a mentor?" A moment later she heard foot-steps in the distance, coming from behind her now- To the west, around a corner. Paying no further heed to it. Her attention was left on the attendant. Whom motioned without a word behind Chance.
There stood an elderly man, his skin was sun-touched, wrinkled and gave distinct feelings of generational differences- however, in-spite the obvious wrinkles. The man appeared well-formed shaped like a farmer would be, muscles that work- not to display. Commanding a sense of strength and worth in a form of an aura. "Greetings Chance. I am Kyousen- Judging by the band you wear, you hail from the lands in Fire."
He was short, although in her mind- It wasn't a sign of weakness, he could with less effort command the use of his center-gravity more so than herself. Where she may in the future exceed in speed, such is something she cannot change is the physiological differences. This, however did distract her attention; leaving a glazed look passing over her. He only expressed further patience in such a manner, having not ridiculed or even pressed the question- Enacting a comical scene, she snapped to attention "O-Oh, yes! I do.. I came seeking a mentor for Busosen. I was told the masters reside here."
The air seemed still, the attendee was still present- But silent as stone. Kyousen's lips curled into a welcoming smile. "Of course. As such I am- But I am about to depart to Konohagakure no Sato; I wish to help the spreading of Busosen, it's teachings and meditations to help improve ones' will and survivability. Perhaps-- You wish to join me? It may be suitable for more than one to travel." During this time, he motioned carefully with fluidity and elegance with his arms and hands, but not once moved his torso and lower-body, it was unusual. Like a graceful statue.

"I... Certainly I will join you; if you agree to help me understand and learn the methods and mentalities of Busosen."

He merely nodded, motioning to the door that- Having not noticed before. Was open; it was like a trance I was lulled into. "... I really should be more careful."
