Bee Surgery
Rank: "C"
Type: Augmentation
Effect: Forms a hive of bees within the recipient's body, giving them access to the jutsus of the Kamizuru clan.
Special: To perform: 1 hour; Duration: Permanent
Drawback: The process requires three hours to complete. If performed improperly, the bees may sting and kill the recipient.
Description: Internal - Takes up 1 Augmentation Point. This ritual is easy to perform, but difficult given the pain. First, the surgeon will make the incision in any area on the recipient's body. It must be fairly large and easily accessible. Once this is complete, the Kamizuru will take the bees and literally thrust them into the recipient's body. Without proper stability, the bees will sting and possibly kill the recipient. However, the role of the first medic is to synchronize the chakra flow of the recipient's body, calming the bees and allowing them to live inside the body without killing the recipient. The second medic will use their skills to alter the body structure of the recipient, creating the hive-like interior. This is the most difficult part of the procedure, and may require the help of the first medic. If all is done correctly, the bees will begin to multiply, and a full colony will be formed in 3 days.
Limit: Must be a Ritualist for Augmentation Rituals.
Cost: Market Price: 12,000 Ryo Performing Price: 9,000 Ryo
Sayuri stood motionless on a rooftop overlooking an alley. She found herself shrouded in the shadows, the moonlight barricaded behind the overcast skies. She was tired and her body ached for sleep, as she had spent the better part of a day following leads and interrogating unsavory characters to find something she craved beyond anything else. Power. Power would drive her, ensure she wouldn't be doing anything as mundane as playing security guard for children when her body was a tool of destruction.
Now she was prowling in the slums of Konoha, her last interrogation leading her to a sketchy surgeon whom she was sure hadn't practiced medicine legally in a long time. She giggled lightly. It really wasn't much of an interrogation. A few hits and he became very talkative. The building the good doctor operated out of was completely filthy, and it smelled of dead bodies and sewer water. Yet, even with that in mind, if this man was possible of the surgery she desired, Sayuri would easily endure a bit of dirt and grime.
Sayuri had briefly scanned the area with her liquid mercury eyes, a surge of chakra adding an immense amount of sensory input that allowed her to see into and through the area around her in great detail. She was slightly disturbed to find there was a barrier of chakra running along the interior rooms of the building, which was keeping her from effectively scouting the location. Clearly to keep inquiring eyes out. She jumped down off of the roof, landing in the grimy alleyway in a graceful crouch. They may be able to block my sight for the moment, but in my blood runs the pride of the village. Who can stand against me?
Feeling cocky and confident, Sayuri walked over to the building and knocked lightly on the metal door. A small hatch slide to the side on the door, and Sayuri was greeted by darkness from beyond the door. A man's voice echoed through the hatch, sounding aggressive and angry.
"You're in the wrong neighborhood, get lost!"
Sayuri responded quickly and firmly. "Even in a place like this, you can always find a rose in the garden."
She used the key phrase provided to her by one of the men she had questioned earlier in the day. The hatch slid closed, and everything was silent. At just that moment, the overcast skies opened up, letting lose a heavy rain. Getting wet, and not hearing any movement from inside, Sayuri's frustration began to mount. She thought silently of her source. If he lied to me, I will murder him. Just as she was preparing to knock the door down with brute force, she heard the grind of metal on metal as the door mechanisms unlocked.
After a few tense seconds the door opened inwards and standing in front of Sayuri was a young woman in pink nurse scrubs. Her face was covered with a medical mask and her brunette colored hair was pulled back tightly into a bun.
"Sorry for the wait Miss. Welcome! Come and inside and prepare for orientation." The nurse led Sayuri down the darkened interior, with the smell of rot and still water invading her nostrils.
"Not much further now." The nurse stopped at a door in the hallway. "Right this way please." She opened the door, and motioned for Sayuri to step in first.
