Description: The user strikes the ear with a cupped hands which causes varying effects due to the compression of air inside the ear.

Kurenai walked into the dojo looking for a sparring partner. She started to walk to her normal spot and a boy running bumps into her. Kurenai looked at him with a look of death. He quickly stood up and asked Kurenai if she was ok. She said she was fine and asked him for a quick sparring match. He accepted and the two walked onto the sparring mat.

The boy scream over to Kurenai "Just because your a girl don't expect me to go easy on you." Kurenai look over at the boy, "Just cause I'm a girl don't expect me to go easy." The boy let out a grunt and rushed Kurenai. He came running towards her and she rolled out of the way. Kurenai jumped up and ran right at the boy. Before he could turn around Kurenai cupped her hand and slapped him in the side of his head. the boy screamed in pain as he feel over.

Kurenai looked down at the boy who's right ear was now bleeding. He stood up and rushed at Kurenai screaming bloody murder. Kurenai side stepped him and kicked him in the side of his leg sending him flying across the room. The boy hit into the wall and quickly jumped up. He looked over at Kurenai who was getting ready for his counter.

The boy started to charge up chakra, and ran over to Kurenai. Kurenai did the same and began charge chakra. The boy slid on the floor and kick Kurenai up in the air. He quickly followed behind her. Kurenai wasn't able to thing quick enough, and got caught in his attack. In mid air the boy caught her with four quick kicks and several punches.

Kurenai crashed into the ground and the boy landed next to her unharmed. Kurenai rolled over and looked at the boy who at this point was laughing at her. Kurenai jumped up and stood in a firm stance. She charged up chakra and unleashed several vines towards the boy. The boy had no idea what to do since he had never seen it before. Kurenai's vines caught one of the boys arms.

Kurenai lifted the boy up by his arm. With her left arm was holding the boy up with the vines she slowly walked over to him and started to punch him in his side over and over. The boy began to scream in pain as his right arm started to bleed from the vines crushing his arm. Kurenai dropped him and let him hit the ground full force. She began to giggle, but the boy quickly got on his feet.

The boy looked at Kurenai like she was crazy. He rushed her again swinging his one good arm at her. Kurenai dodged all his punches but wasn't paying attention to his feet. Then he cocked his leg back and kicked Kurenai right in her side. She feel to her hands and knees. Just as she looked up the boy kicked her in the face, and she fell on her back.

Kurenai rolled around for awhile and the boy started to charge more chakra. Kurenai knew if she got hit a couple more times she'd be done. Kuneai struggled to get up and the boy brought his foot forward again. "If this connects I'm done." Kurenai jumped backwards and shot two vines towards the boy and grabbed his left leg and right arm.

Kurenai started to swing the boy around and let him go. The boy went flying through the air again hitting into another wall. He came crashing down and rolled on his side. Geez, She's an animal." He got up again aching in pai. He looked at Kurenai who now was rushing him. She quickly jumped in the air kicking him in the side of his neck. She hit the ground kicking him three times then connecting with a flurry of punches.

Kurenai hit the boy a total of thirty-seven times, and hitting three major points on his body. Before he knew it his right shoulder, forearm, and hand where all useless. But this boy was determined he had to beat her. What would his friends thing. Kurenai stood in the middle of the mat ready for him to strike again, and he does. He rushes her one final time. With his right arm useless he goes in with a flying kick. Kurenai doesn't catch it in time and takes a kick right to her face. Kurenai hits the the floor as blood spills from her mouth. The boy stands over her and looks down it pity. Just as Kurenai attempts to get up he kicks her in her side and she falls down again.

Kurenai was now laying on her back looking up at the boy. "By the way I would like to know the name of the boy I beat." He looked down at her. Well if you mean me my name is Lock Ree and you didn't beat me." Just then Kurenai jumps up and shoots six Iron Vines towards Lock wrapping him up. She began to squeeze him. She him if he gave, he refused and she continued to squeeze. Finally he admitted defeat and she let him fall to the ground. Just for safe keeping the cupped her hand one last time and smashed it against his right ear again. Watching him roll around on the floor Kurenai just walked out of the dojo.

Kurenai walked out into the woods and started to search for some poisonous plants. She remembered when she was very young her mother warned her about a dark purple plant that was poisonous. Suddenly she found a small purple flower and picked it up. She broke off one of the leaves and ate it. She started to feel a little dizzy, but got right to training.

Stumbling she started off slow punching and kicking a tree the was close by. After a while the poison was flushed out of her body by the sweat and she continued to attack the tree. A couple more punch and kicks and Kurenai went over to her back and plucked two more leaves from the flower and started to chew on them.

She got dizzy again and started to see double. Even with the double vision she started to attack the tree only hitting a couple kicks and almost no punches. Luckily she had a veil of antidote in her back pocket. She reached into her back pocket and pulled the veil out and took a small dose. She was still feeling some of the side effects which she wanted.

Kurenai continued to attack the tree. A few minutes later the poison was flushed out of her body and it was time to get some more leaves. She walked back over to her bag and grabbed the remaining leaves, and began to chew. This time was the worst of it all. She felt light headed, dizzy, jelly legs, and double vision. Kurenai felt really sick but if she were to become immune then she would have to deal with it. She stood up and starting to swing at the tree in front of her only landing a couple hits.

She took the veil out of her back pocket and drank the rest of it. The only problem was it didn't take all of the poison's effects away. Kurenai kept going, punching and kicking the tree and before she knew it the poison was out of her system and she felt like what she did before she even went of to train.

Kurenai walked out into the woods and began her training. She concentrated her chakra and focused it to the holes in her shoulders. Concentrating really hard she pushed the vines through her body hoping they would come through, but there was nothing. She was disappointed but would continue to try.

Kurenai stood firmly on the ground and gathered more charka. She closes her eyes and begins to draw an image of her body and the holes that allow the vines to pass through her body. She began to think hard about passing the vines through her body. But she couldn't do it. Kurenai then shot three vines from her right hand into a tree out of frustration.

She then ran up a tree and sat on a branch about ten feet in the air. Kurenai sat on the branch singing and gathering chakra. With her feet dangled in the air and her vines from her hands slowly wrapped down the tree and branches. She didn't know what was wrong. She couldn't figure out why the vines aren't coming.

Kurenai jumped out of the tree and kicked the tree. She was getting really mad at this point. She turned around and focused the pressure to her shoulders and a vine shot out from each shoulder going about ten feet. Kurenai was so happy she started to jump up and down in excitement.

Kurenai tried it again and succeeded. Her shoulders shot two vines out and planted their selves into a near by tree. With her two shoulder vines in the tree Kurenai shoots six vines into the tree. Kurenai took a couple steps back and pulled with all her might the tree slowly was being pulled out of the ground. The tree tipped over but didn't fall. Kurenai then retracted all her vines and ran behind the tree.

Kurenai was now behind the tree looking at how it has tipped over. She closed her eyes for a split second. When she opened them she shot out two vines from her shoulders. The vine flew threw the air until they finally hit the tree splitting it in half. Kurenai watched the vines fly through the tree and snap back towards her.

The vines came flying back towards and snapped around her a hit her back before going back into her shoulders. The vines cut her back a little as they slapped her back. Kurenai then walked up another near by tree using the vines in her feet. Standing on a branch shooting shoulder vines to break the near by branches. Kurenai began to walk down the tree shooting vines at the branches.

Kurenai continued down the tree and landing on the ground on both feet. She quickly hopped up and ran towards another tree throwing two kunai at the tree. Then kicking the tree, shooting a vine from each shoulder. The vines went flying through the air crushing into the tree. The vines drilled into the tree. Kurenai then stopped moving and pulled herself towards the tree with the vines.

Kurenai stood under a tree and shot two vines from her shoulders to hold herself. She began to lift herself up the tree. While ascending up the tree Kurenai was shooting iron vines into the tree. Once she reached the branch she cut the branch with her shoulder vines and started to fall back down.

Kurenai fell towards to earth with no defense. Just as she was about to hit the ground she unleashed vines from her hands, feet and shoulders making a shield of vines underneath her. She hit the vines and bounced back up. Kurenai looked around and ran deeper into the woods.

She eventually made it to a cliff. She thought to herself that it would be the perfect place to train with her vines. She concentrated her chakra to her vine holes. Kurenai then unleashes vines at the cliffs. Each vines dug into the cliff deeper and deeper

As the vines dug into the cliff rocks from the top began to come tumbling down. Kurenai was quick to react she retracted the shoulder vines and shot them at the falling rocks. The rocks turned to dust before they could even reach the ground. She then pulled the remaining vines out of the cliff and turned around.

Kurenai took three deep breathes. She then spun around and shot two vines from her shoulders into a tree. The vines dug deep into the tree until it finally cracked, breaking the tree in two. Kurenai ran over to one piece of the tree and began hacking away at it. After several slices she made a small surf board object. She quickly picked it up and ran up the rock slope by the cliff.

Kurenai got to the top and looked down at the slope full of rocks and small trees. She slammed the tree board on the ground. She jumped on it and began to slide down the cliff side shooting vines at the rocks and small trees. Each vine reached out and cracked the rock and ripping the trees from the ground. Kurenai finally reached the bottom at broke the tree with a powerful vine from her right shoulder.

As the dust set Kurenai looked around for her next "victim" and noticed a waterfall in the distance. But she was getting tired and didn't care much for walking. So she extended the vines from her shoulders going up into the tree tops. One vine grabbed on branch and then other another branch. Kurenai then focused chakra and began to swing through the tree tops. From branch to branch.

Kurenai made it to the waterfall and landed in the water. She climbed out dripping wet. She didn't even mind to try and dry off she just kept training. Kurenai stood at the waters edge and shot two vines into the water until they pierced the bottom of the water bed. She repeated this over and over until a small whirlpool formed.

Kurenai then launched her vines into some near by rocks and started throwing in the water. After breaking up the rocks she shot more vines in the water to stop the whirlpool and settle the water flow. Kurenai retracted her vines and turned around. The river at the bottom of the waterfall was pretty big.

Kurenai decided to make a bridge. She started off by breaking down the surrounding trees with her vines. After knocking over several trees she began to cut them up with her vines. Kurenai then started picking up the tree trunks and placing them in the water. And eventually she had made a new bridge so she could cross over the waterfall's river.

About have way across the tree trunks gave out and Kurenai fell into the river's rapids. Kurenai began rushing towards a bigger waterfall. Kurenai reached the end and saw a tree branch hang over the edge. She quickly launched her two shoulder vines and grabbed the branch.

Kurenai was hanging there in mid-air. The only thing holding her life was her vines. She concentrated as much chakra as possible and pulled herself up. Kurenai sat up on the branch for a few seconds then ran along it jumping to safe ground. Once Kurenai landed on the ground she turned around and shot three vines from her right hand and grabbed the branch she was hanging from moments earlier and pulled it down watching it fall down the waterfall.

Kurenai watched the branch hit the water below and turned around. She started walking down the river bed and discovered and valley of rocks. She ran into the valley and began shooting vines at the rocks. She shot two vines from her shoulders instantly breaking the two rocks in front of her.

The valley was full of rocks and boulder. Hundreds of rocks as far as the eye could see. And she was determined to break them, all. She ran at a cluster of rocks and jumped of them. In midair she flipped around and began shooting vines from her hands and shoulders breaking each rock they hit.

Kurenai soon became sick of this baby crap and wanted to move onto bigger better things. She retracted her vines and started to look for a bigger rock. And not before long she found one. A huge boulder, and it was huge about 45 meters tall and 50 meters long. Kurenai ran up to it and shot two vines from her shoulders and watched them bounce off the rock.

Kurenai backed up and looked at the boulder. Then an idea snapped. She began to concentrate chakra focusing it to the holes in which her vines come from then she shot out two iron vines from her shoulders. The connected with the boulder and drilled into the rock. Kurenai walked up to the rock and looked in to the rock.

She jumped back and put her hands against the rock palms right on the holes. She yelled at the top of her lungs and unleashed six iron vines from her hands into the rock. The vines drilled through the rock move to the outsides. Finally the vines broke through the edges of the boulder. She then pulled the vines back towards her take a piece of the boulder with it.

Two big pieces came falling towards her as she quickly jumped back. Kurenai was then standing in the middle of a rock triangle. She turned towards the big piece of rock and started shooting her vines out of her shoulders into the rock slowly chipping away the rock.

Small pieces of the rock flew past her face as her vine kept smacking off the rock. Kurenai rose her left hand and shot out three vines at the rock. The vines shot into the rock and got stuck. She started to tug on the vines but nothing happened. She then rose up her right hand and shot three more vines towards the vines stuck in the rock.

The three vines smashed into the rock breaking the area around the other vines. She then pulled out the vines and retracted them into her left hand. She then shot out two iron vines from her shoulders breaking up some more of the rock. The rock started to look like a cave as her vines drilled into the rock.

Kurenai kept shooting vines into the rock. She then walked into the rock and looked up. She noticed that the rock had become some what of a cave. So she shot her shoulder vines into the roof of the rock and pulled herself up. Slowing rising she began to shot her vines from her hands into the walls of the rock. Cracking the rock walls to the ground.

Once Kurenai reached the top she flipped upside down and shot the ten feet vines into the roof of the rock. Now that she was hanging upside down she began shooting her vines back into the walls chipping off the bits of rock. The vines kept drilling and drilling into the rock. Kurenai then shot her six hand vines into the right wall and she pulled herself over to the wall and started to climb down.

She reached the bottom and stepped out of the rock cave and started to shoot more vines into the cave. With each vine shot the cave slowly started to crumble. Kurenai kept unleashing barrages of vines over and over until the rock turned to rumble. After destroying the rock Kurenai turned around hopped across the river and ran back into the woods.

Once in the woods Kurenai reached the cliff passage again and began to drill her vines into the ground. Starting with her feet vines then shooting her hand vines into the ground. And finally shooting her shoulder vines into the ground. After leaving many holes in the ground Kurenai left the woods.

Lightning Release

Kurenai waited one night until it finally started to rain. The storm eventually got worse. Finally it started to thunder and lightning out and Kurenai knew it was now or never to get her training done. She ran out of the cave and dashed to the cliff valley she usually trains at. On arrival she noticed the slopes of the cliffs where all muddy and watery.

Kurenai found a cave and took over her overcoat and out down her bag with the scrolls in it. A big bolt of lightning hit the ground blinding Kurenai instantly. The light flashed as bright as the sun and Kurenai fell to the ground. As the light faded Kurenai jumped up and walked out into the cliff area waiting. She looked up in the sky rain falling on her face. She found a puddle and stood in it. The water from the puddle ran down like a stream, and at the end a bolt of lightning struck the water shocking Kurenai nearly knocking her out.

Kurenai fell to the ground screaming in pain. She stood back up and her arms were numb, but she was determined. She found a rock and wrapped her hands in bandages and started punching the rock. Another bolt of lightning hit and shocked Kurenai again. Falling to the ground the water continued to run down her face. Kurenai stood back up and began punching the rock again.

Kurenai began to throw kicks into the combo of punches. Kurenai kept her training up attacking the rock as the lightning was striking. With each bolt hit her body started to become more and more numb, and with numb body parts she wouldn't be able to feel pain. But with no pain then she wouldn't be able to get stronger.

The rain began to fall harder and harder. Each drop started to feel like rocks hitting her on the head. Before she knew it the valley began to flood and Kurenai was stuck in the middle. She jumped on top of the rock and began gathering chakra. She jumped into the water just as a huge bolt of lightning hit the cave were all her stuff was. Kurenai dashed over and grabbed her stuff. As Kurenai jumped up a kunai fell out of her pocket she went to pick it up and held it in the sky. Another bolt of lightning hit in the distance. The electric traveled fast until it hit Kurenai again.

Kurenai hit the ground and began to scream in pain. "If I ever want to become a Cloud Ninja I have to do this!" Kurenai began to cry in pain, but began running through the water. She after a couple more strikes of lightning she began to read the bolts of lightning. Every few seconds she would jump out of the water dodging being struck by the lightning. As Kurenai went to dodge one of lightning bolts a kunai tie to a string fell out of her pocket and dipped into the water. The lightning struck sending an electric shock through her whole body.

Kurenai's body became numb as she fell into the water. Kurenai rolled around for awhile and then remembered that the lightning was about to strike. Struggling to stand she had to jump. She tired her hardest and finally jumped up dodging the lightning as it hit the water. Kurenai landed in the water and began running again. She slid around for a while and jumped back up out of the water. She landed back in the water. While landing Kurenai slipped on a small rock and fell face first into the water.

Kurenai's face began to slowly bleed. The blood ran down the side of her face dripping into the water. Kurenai wiped her face off and stood back up running through the water. The sky began to clear up and Kurenai looked into the sky. "Nooooo! Come back I need lightning! And I need it NOW!" Suddenly the clearing in the sky disappeared and the sky filled with black cloud, and it started to rain again.

The rain began to fall again and Kurenai started up again. She ran through the water jumping up every few minutes. The lightning was striking in the distance over the hills. The storm slowly rolled back in and Kurenai was prepare for it. She stood firm on the ground waiting for the lightning to strike. Three, Two, One. She counted down in her head then jumped. But no lightning struck. Standing there confused Kurenai waited for the next bolt, but the pattern was off. It was a new storm which meant a new pattern.

Kurenai was messed up now and got shocked by the next bolt of lightning sending her flying through the air. She hit the water and hoped back up running towards some rocks. She slid into the rock and stopped herself by slamming her hands on the rock. For some unknown reason Kurenai didn't feel safe there and she quickly dashed out of there. A few seconds later a bolt of lightning struck the rock completely obliterating it.

The rocks flew all over the place. A few hit Kurenai in the face. After a fell hits she began dodging and hitting them back. The rain continued to fall and the lightning began to start up again. Kurenai started again by running through the water jumping as the lightning was about to strike. The roar of thunder rolled in the distance and Kurenai knew what was coming. She went to jump in the air but it was too late.

The lightning hit at the top of the cliff and the electric traveled through the water with incredible speed. Kurenai turned her head to the right and saw the electric coming right to her. The wind had calmed as the electric charged towards Kurenai. The electric took the form of a snake and bit Kurenai in her arm. Kurenai fell to the ground crying in pain.

Kurenai slowly lifted her head and looked up at the sky. Rain continued to fall and the lightning was flashing in the distance. Kurenai gathered herself and prepared herself for the worst. She ran up to a rock and began punching it. Lightning struck and the electric came at her and connected. Shocking her legs Kurenai feel to the ground. Her legs began to twitch and she stood back up. Her legs felt like jello as she stood back up.

Kurenai looked at her legs as they tingled with pain. She took a few steps and the pain shot through her body. With each step the pain slowly went away. But she was still in intense pain. Kurenai ran towards another rock dealing with each step of pain. Kurenai started to jump and roll to get to the rock, but the pain from her legs was getting worse and worse. Eventually the pain went away and she continued towards the rock.

She finally made it to the rock as another bolt of lightning hit the top of the cliff send a landslide or rocks towards her. Kurenai jumped back and prepared herself. As the rocks reached her, she began showing vines out of her hands and shoulders breaking each rock before they could reach her. The rocks came to a stop and Kurenai jumped onto the bigger boulder next to the rubble.

She shot two vines from her shoulders to grab her bag that was in the water. As the vines touched the water a bolt of lightning struck the water sending shockwaves of electric through the water connecting with her vines. Only the shock wasn't that powerful. Kurenai began to think to herself that by getting shocked so much her body was becoming immune to the shocks.

Kurenai picked her bag up and put it on her back. She climbed down off the rock still being pummeled by the rain. Kurenai slipped on the ground as she hit and bumped her head on the rock. "Ouch" She rubbed her head turned around and quickly shot eight vines into the rock. The vine drilled into the rock and began to break it from the inside out. Finally the rock broke open as a bolt of lightning struck behind Kurenai.

Kurenai spun around to see the lightning speeding towards her. She prepared her for the incoming waves of lightning. She quickly jumped to the left dodging the first two but landing right in the way of the third. The lightning jumped up out of the water and caught Kurenai right in her chest. Kurenai flew back a few meters and landed in a puddle. The water splashed up on her as her eyes slowly closed.

"It can't end like this. I can't die. I have to become a ninja!" Kurenai opened her eyes and jumped back up. The rain started to lighten up but the lightning was getting fiercer. The lightning began to strike over and over. The electric from the lightning was traveling through the water. It was like it had a mind of it's own.

The lightning raced towards Kurenai. The bolts surrounded her going in circles over and over. Finally one jumped at her and shot a vine at it from her shoulder blocking it. She looked around and watched the bolts jump from water to air. She stood firm shooting her vines around her in a defensive position. For every bolt that jumped she would hit it away with her vines. After all of the bolts were gone Kurenai looked in front of her and about fifty meters was a large bolt of lightning traveling at her. Kurenai began running at it with her eight vines ready to attack.

The cracking and roaring of the lightning rushed towards Kurenai as she prepared herself. She stationed herself in the ground with her two shoulder vines and held her six hand vines in her hands. The lightning took the form of a snake and jumped out of the water attacking Kurenai. She snapped her left hand shooting the three vines at the lightning. They connected and shocked Kurenai even so slightly. Kurenai twitched a little and got control of herself again.

The lightning was getting closer and if she wasn't able to stop it she could die. Kurenai looked up to the sky as the rain came pouring down hitting her face. She looked back in front of her as the lightning was about five meters away. Kurenai screamed and shot six hand vines towards the lightning. The vines connected with the lightning pushing it backwards.

The lightning and vines crashed together pushing each other back and forth. Finally the lightning stopped. Kurenai started shaking and retracted her vines. As they were about to go into her hands she noticed that the lightning had shocked her vines that the holes in which they came from were singed. She tried to shot the vines back out but screamed in agony. "I can't do that for a while. That really hurts." Without her vines Kurenai would have to train using her sword.

Kurenai wrapped up her hands up and looked around for some place to train. In the distance Kurenai saw a bug tree in the middle of the gully. She began to rush it as a huge bolt of lightning came down and hit the tree. The tree was on fire even though it was still raining. Kurenai continued towards the tree and the fire went out. She walked up to the slowly and it looked like someone was standing behind the tree.

Kurenai walked over to the tree with extreme caution. Slowly stepping out was a girl. "Hey your...your...YOUR ME!" It seems that the lightning bolt created a replica of Kurenai out of lightning. Kurenai jumped at her connecting with a kick and was thrown backwards from the shock. She hit the ground and laid there for a while looking up to the sky. The sky was clearing the rain stopped and the clouds disappeared.

Kurenai sat up and looked at the girl. She stood up and ran at her jumping a couple feet away. She connected two quick kicks and a flurry of punches. The girl fell to the ground. Kurenai stood over her and shot two shoulder vines. The girl slipped away just as the vines came crashing down. The girl then grabbed the vines and shocked them. Kurenai was slightly shocked, retracting her vines she jumped backwards.

Kurenai slid back and pulled out her sword. The lightning girl made a blade of lightning. Kurenai rushed at the girl. She shot one shoulder vine towards her and jumped in the air and shot the other shoulder vine. The girl dodged the first vine but the second caught her leg. The girl was now impaled to the ground with the vine through her left leg. The girl closed her eyes and opened for a few seconds. She opened them and a bright light flashed from her eyes blinding Kurenai.

Kurenai didn't know what to do stay still and be attacked or move and fall into a trap. Kurenai felt a relief from her vine and she jumped back. She rubbed her eyes and saw the girl running right towards her. Kurenai dealt with the great deal of pain and shot six vines from her hands towards the girl. The girl was to slow to dodge any of them.

The went right into the girl but the electric shocks she was letting out didn't effect Kurenai. Kurenai started walking towards the girl with her vines still in the girl. She retracted the vines from her right hand and pulled out her sword. The girl tried to get up but Kurenai shot her two shoulder vines into the girl.The girl was now laying on the ground with five vines in her and Kurenai was walking towards her.

Kurenai stepped in front on the girl and retracted all of her vines. The girl jumped up but Kurenai hit her in the top of her head with the hilt of the sword. The girl fell to the ground. She had been knocked out laying face down. Kurenai started slashing at the girl with no thought at all. The girl didn't even bleed. Nothing flew from her but electric. Kurenai kept going and going til she fell to the ground next to her.

Kurenai woke up under the tree and looked up. "Hey I swear that tree was on fire early. Hmm I guess it was a dream, but if it was then what did it meanKurenai stood up and grabbed her back with her scrolls in it. And started to walk home. She stopped and turned around looking up at the sky seeing that the black clouds of lightning slowly following her.
