Additional Comments
with little or actually no currently active game master on site, id like to return to the throne. i was unable to fulfill my role as an actual roleplay teacher but i do have a ninja academy in my village, where i could flourish roleplay teaching exclusively for mist ninja. as much as i also love the color of my name (sad face) i wouldnt mind being a golden boy again.
also if at all possible... id like to suggest for consideration a sort of game master scenario for this application. a mod/staff generates a setting and i roleplay as a gm accordingly; this would also be useful, i feel, for future gm applications.

Wind Country, west of Sukuinushi no Shinseina Basho
In the endless dunes, located in the deep west deserts of Kaze no Kuni, lies a myth; a myth, some say, but still real to others nonetheless. The name of the terrible creature is Siroc; a great Dragonne of the southern winds that feeds on humans and beast alike that become lost in the sands of the uncharted regions of Wind. Some tell stories of how it generates large sandstorms to render entire caravans immobilized so that it can feast on and torture the humans one by one as its gruesome howl shreds through the windstorms; many others speak of its ability to cast mirages, or even its ability to create a false oasis to lure in unsuspecting fools who become parched in the wilderness...
But there is one thing that is for certain------the myths were real. A child, one who had belonged to a family known as the Asase was found nearly lifeless on the outskirts of the Basho city, with hardly any clothing on. What remained of his raiment had been left in tatters and he'd been covered in grit and blood. The denizens that found the lone survivor saw the fear in his young eyes: Siroc had taken the entire caravan - down to the last camel, and slaughtered them. He told them how he had ran blindly in the sandstorm that appeared with the beast, and how he hid in the raw insides of a group of cacti to survive the massacre. The child's index finger weakly lifted towards the west, "...T-there." he managed before falling unconscious due to extreme dehydrated and fatigue. The townspeople of Sukuinushi no Shinseina Basho hurriedly took him to the hospital, where later he would recover.
During that boy's recovery period, word was sent immediately to the shinobi of Sunagakure no Sato. A beast, this Siroc, had been plaguing the Great Nation's country and now it was up to them to find and kill this menace. With it terrorizing the great desert plains of Kaze no Kuni, it would only be a short while before it began to come in contact with actual civilizations located in the southern country. It has been requested by the town's leader that at least five more than capable ninja be sent out into the wilds to kill the legend where it lays. Take its head back to the city of Basho so that the denizens there know that their threat has truly been neutralized.

A terrible beast that has reigned in the Land of Wind for centuries. Siroc, as the Dragonne has been named, is a leonine dragon with golden scales that rival the very granule of the desert in coloration. He is a naturally evil creature, given his proclivity to feast on livestock and human; not failing to mention his tormenting of them with illusions and jutsu that leave them stranded in the wilderness. The beast is a natural drunk---the blood of his conquests fills him as would ale do to any man in a tavern. With an array of elemental techniques under his belt, and a tough golden hide that acts as a natural shield for the huge creature, he does make for a formidable adversary.. Be wary --- despite his increased size, Siroc still moves as quickly as the sand does in a windstorm with his illusory and sandy body flickers. On occasion, the leo-dragon will create sand or earth-style doppelgangers to eliminate his quarry while he himself sits back on his haunches, delivering red-hot Katon jutsu to those caught in the fray.
