The making of something great (open)

Shiki sat down in the middle of an open park out the outskirts of the village. His two massive Dire Wolves Frostbite and Fang patrolled back and forwards sniffing among the bushes. They seemed on the hunt of something, probably a small squirrel or some other rodent. Shiki let the dogs have their fun as he continued to bask in the warm sunlight in the mountains. Draped in his leather regulator duster and monster hunting gear he looked like something dragged out of an old western show. Tilting his hat down to block the sun from his face he leaned back against a bench and rested. 

Just how long is it going to take for my mission to be approved? Shiki let his sapphire eyes turn back towards his Wolves. Just another lazy day it seems.

A Coopers hawk flied above the male. It dropped a tiny scroll in front of him. The bird sat down in a nearby tree, its scarlet eyes on Shiki.
Inside the scroll was an invitation for the guy. Was he brave enough to accept it?

Hello.

You have been invited to fight against one of the Jounins. The Raikage would like to see how good the Genins are before sending them to the Chuunins. No friends, animals or summons are allowed. This will be a non-lethal match.

Please bring this invitation to the Raikage tower if you accept the challenge.

Shiki smiled and grasped the scroll tightly in his hands. Taking the small scroll and tucking it deep inside of his pocket he gathered the will to move. "Well... there goes my lazy day."
Standing to his feet, he stretched and walked towards the tower.
