Character Depth

Personality: Xur is everything someone rumors him to be, but never something he wants to be. What does that mean? It means he is indecisive. When it comes to running his life. It is a trial of thought process, and small talk with him. He enjoys riddles as the confusion it provides gives him a reason to dwell into their patterns. The uses. In that sense Xur takes himself as a beacon. Nothing superficial. He doesn't see himself being a leader or, anything but more of  person to come to with questions about the world itself. Now what exactly does that mean? Well in that sense its sort of a simple idea. He is a scientist of anything and everything that interests him.

Xur doesn't go by many logical rules other than keeping a name that can be malleable between others. Whether people like him or not is not his concern. Nor is it his duty to care, as he takes him time. The amount of patience Xur has is, an unrealistic quality of self control. However he can still process and feel emotion. In fact it is one of the many things he experiments with on a day to day basis. Its hard being someone when you aren't...someone. And that, to a degree is very true. Xur isn't anyone but, what his name is listed under. As everyone perceives him differently. And he likes it that way.

In general when Xur travels he prefers to make it a hard journey all on his own. He rather spend a lot of time, thinking about what he is doing while he is doing it, even if he doesn't even know what it leads to. However with the amount of time he spends in whatever it is he is getting involved with it varies on his personality traits. His activities are all scattered between different ideas, hypothesis, theories, research, random spurs, and a hefty look into what exactly the world is to him. What makes this world tick, but not in the natural ways. He likes looking at the outside force looking in then answer different questions based on what it is that is somehow looked as normal.

He rather refer himself to a shadow than a person. No use of gender or ethnicity as he knows of his kedoin heritage. The only things most know about him is his use, of the Nara and Yamanaka clan techniques. His parents are entities of both and, he is fond to shine through them no matter what form he morphs into. He will play any role, and go to nearly any depth of perception that he must to fulfill whatever agenda that is set. In times he would prefer the odd way out. It provides a better learning experience and, knowledge for him to share with others. Now he is very picky with that alone however. In fact Xur is picky about a lot of things. However in some cases he is also very giving. It is an oddly constructed  table to place all the cards on if that makes any sense as it what it is like to get to know Xur, if that chance is even granted.

In all of that, entirety it is a very simple answer as to: Who, is, Xur? He is nobody. He is everybody. He is nothing. He is everything. He is a simple traveling wack job. Or he is a god. Its undecided and chosen to be that way for a long time. His past is his. Only those who grow obsessed with learning the story will ever understand about, his origin. Some concluded he really doesn't have one. Others have said he is simply a very deranged man. If any of these are true would have to be decoded somehow then proven. But, then its always a lost, cause as Xur's way of carrying himself are put to nearly an infinite number...nearly.

Xur, is selective with his attire. To most knowledge people don't know what he looks like. As a Kedoin it is almost a game as to if someone knows your default look or not, but, Xur for the most are has a very general look. He has grown up mostly as a male physic so he himself is more common to be seen in the general makeup of that. Seen however is very vague as he personally doesn't like to let others see the real him. Cause the real him changes. He allows himself to identify as anything that is necessary during a time of need. He isn't ill-minded. Just very picky.

However the default him has aged. His dark brown hair has managed to begin slipping into a dark but, faded color over the years. He enjoys keeping it at a mid-range level of length and, for the most part out of his face as he likes to see clearly. His face has hardened into a sort of odd glare that wants to smile but, seems to never be able to.

A hardened look to the extent that, he has been through many different obstacles in his lifetime which is exactly what he has been through. The man is alone in this world. He loves interaction, but refuses to take part in it, in a way to where others are conscious of who it truly is on the out and inside. So most of the time you only see Xur when he cares to be seen. His body is a concealed piece of work, but truthfully has been made to last.

He has personally trained himself to live a long time. Its one of his main goals. His age may be present when using his default look, but overall Xur is uncannily healthy let alone has an extreme sense of social skill. All essence of life is, key for him. He enjoys he array of women but, in general when he goes out on dates he holds back on what he allows himself to do let alone look like. He tries very hard to please others if he knows how, and so he is fond for using his kedoin abilities to do that alone. But in that sense the Xur that is truthfully there is as vague as his doubles.

The default Xur has warm fiery ember colored eyes. Prideful. Has a 1,000 Yard Stare that could gaze at anything for as long as he desires. They can easily be kind or cruel. Sharp or soft. Worrysome or Uncaring. Lifelike and unresponsive. It is a very vivid array of looks he produces with his eyes alone as they stand out the most within that aged model of an adult male, or any form. His skin is colored in with a sunkissed tan, that overtime had saturated into a simple mixture lighter than caramel but, fills in all the space with something in that hue.

Background:

Xur's past is not one that enables him to move on a lot. Cause it effects him in a way that he can't see why he would want to forget about it. Its deep in him. His soul lingers what s left of it and, still remain dormant to this day. So in general what happens between him and, the outside world could be guessed that it involves his past, but in all truth it doesn't. It very rarely ever does except for a few supplementary issues that drive is wonder.

Xur was once a jolly, humble man. He had a wife. Two kids. A wonderful family, to behold. He was raised to deal with hardships and, use his mind in wonderful ways on both sides of the scale. His parents when growing up never forsaken his learning when it came to using his mind. The brain is a powerful tool, so they wanted their son to be able use that tool in almost any situation even if it was completely new. As a Nara and Yamanaka, any wondered which clan he had the most resemblance in, however with his individual use of his abilities it was never really apparent which one shined more.

Growing up he got into way too much all at once. One day he is sitting in his father's chair reading and, writing then the next day he is causing trouble in the area. He always adored the world as it was. He never liked the darker parts of the world's corners but, he still embraced them. Embracing the dark corruption as a way to learn. He liked to learn more than anything. Any kind of learning he could make he time to get into. However growing through the years sometimes made his choices hard. Jealousy, hormones, his kedion genetics, stereotypes. In general he played way too many roles with people and, eventually most stopped believing what they think of him. Instead they got into their feelings and pushed Xur away leaving him to his mind and wonders of life. Leaving him to learn on his own.

Xur in that point stopped being so open for a long time. When he was old enough to move out of the home, and keep a stable income Xur studied hard to find himself. Find what he could hold onto, so others wouldn't feel like he was lying to them about how he felt. Yet no matter how hard he tried nothing other than how he originally was, kept him involved. He repeated old cycles, even if he made the slightest of changes. It wasn't until he met the woman that he would marry later on that he would take the time to enjoy himself. In general, Xur was always distant but, at the wedding he promised to become more involved in life. This for the most part is what kept him happy through that time spent. Through the time he spent building a family. Through the time spent making his parents prouder, and prouder of their child.

But then a freak accident happened. An rebellion broke loose. And many acts of crimes were carried out on the citizens as the rebels would attack maliciously. Xur was out of town coming back from important duties at the moment, until he noticed all the anarchy. It was a civil warzone, one that would leave him without a family for the rest of his life. His family were all waiting for him, for a reunion and dinner. When he came home the house was on fire, and collapsed in on itself. His father, wife, and daughter died instantly. The only ones that nearly made it was his son and, mother.

His mother would die next to her husband after relaying some words to Xur before she pasted. He'd save his son, tuck him away before tearing way into a dark mold overnight. The only crime he committed was dark justice by slaughtering the rebellion leader that only caused it to be able to steal valuable village items in order to sell to the highest bidder. The greedy and, unnecessary pain that was caused to the village was what sent him over the edge when he committed the killing. However due to his kedoin abilities he killed them and a few others under the identity of one of their own. So the traces never tracked and, the death sentence put on a semi-innocent.

Xur escaped when in terms of jail time, but regarding the mental taxing of that event he would be effected forever. However he would heed one of the promises and, would continue to raise his son into a fine young man. It was very difficult and, when his son left the home much like he did, Xur was certain that he would never see him again. Xur travels all around, but Mist has always been his true home. And so at this point forward it is hard to tell what exactly he does now. Most only know him as the shadowy figure of many mysteries. Countless days are spent trying to figure out who is under that outfit. However every time Xur has gone, reconfigured out to be something else. Which is how he likes it to be. For Xur doesn't know his own identity any more. However his son. He remembers...

Description: The most basic skill of the Kedōin Clan. By manipulating hormones and cells, they are capable of growing/changing hair and nails on their body. Through their blood line, the user can grow hair on any part of their body, at any length, and any color. The user may choose to grow short and soft blonde hair, or even long blue and dread locked hair. Nails on the toes and fingers can be grown to be long or shorten. They may appear to whatever the user desires, even choosing to make them appear rotting or polished with color. Nails can also take the appearance of claws, but offer no additional increases to offense. Hair and nail growth and control marks the first level of cellular control for the Kedōin. It takes one post to grow or alter any length/color of hair or nails the user wishes. The users grows a set of eyes, with functional optic nerves to the brain. The eyes grown through this technique operate and function in the same manner as normal human eyes. These eyes can appear in any color and design; with some users even shaping the eyes to blinded with cataracts. It takes one post to grow or alter a ocular system the user wishes to possess.

This skill is important for ferreting out advancing enemies or ambushes, generally real-time events and actions occurring, versus scrutiny, which covers static objects or areas. A Game Master may roll an Observation skill check for a Character any time there is an NPC, monster, event or happening that a character might notice, even if he did not specifically state that he is monitoring his surroundings.
