A once glorious estate, now dilapidated and overrun with clumps of weeds, and the rot of what mangled corpses that met their demise to the beast now living within the very walls of the place; this is the former palace of the Claw Country daimyo, which boasts an area of an impressive 150 meter expanse in length, width and height. For those who have dared venture to this cursed region---that many Pollux natives claim to have been taken over by a quick-breeding creature---have never returned back to their homes, and instead now litter the sod of the palace floor with their remnants. Battles have occurred here where small armies could not even overtake the beast: an opening has since been blasted into a wall near the barred entrance of the palace that enables those brave enough to enter into their tomb; what sources of water that do trickle into the area feeds the inside terrain, and pools near the antechamber of the palace. Archways of varying sizes, most ranging from five to twenty meters high, pattern the walls of the palace, and make dark places for things that wish to scurry unseen. The exposed - or rather - deteriorated roof of the previous lord's estate causes the vine growth to hang overhead, giving the place an often dark enclosure in the absence of sunlight; metal and stone work in tandem to create the walls and other mundane building surfaces, which are again either rusted or knocked somewhat loose from many attempts to find the treasure claimed to have been hidden within the bowels of these ruinous halls. Near the back wherein the stairs are, is a large door leading into the throne room... that is where supposedly the beast lies.
Tales are told of it having countless eyes that restrict exit once a man is foolish enough to dare enter. These eyes are said to alert the main being, which will cause it to exit the throne room where the supposed treasure remains, and enter into its conquered halls to feast upon those who enter.........
A trio enters through the aperture in the wall of the palace. The treasure, so alluring in the fables told around it, have drawn them here together for one purpose: to defeat whatever creature that uses this place as its nesting ground, and then loot the palace.
