Observation
Rank: "E"
Skill: Skill
Effect: This skill focuses certain powers of observation - sight, smell, hearing, and touch.
Special: ---
Drawback: ---
Description: Can be learned by an Animal. A failed check indicates that the character is oblivious until the thing is pointed out to him. This skill is important for ferreting out advancing enemies or ambushes, generally real-time events and actions occurring, versus scrutiny, which covers static objects or areas. A Game Master may roll an Observation skill check for a Character any time there is an NPC, monster, event or happening that a character might notice, even if he did not specifically state that he is monitoring his surroundings. Characters are capable of noticing any event within their perception. Observation reveals only facts, not motivation. If user has 25 or more Ranks in Evidence Analysis user gains a Synergy Bonus +10 to Observation. Each time learned user gets 1 die roll to increase the skill.
Limit: ---
Supplementary:
Able Learner
Rank: "C"
Skill: Social Trait
Effect: The user has great aptitude for learning.
Special: ---
Drawback: ---
Description: When learning a skill, the skill states how many times a die roll may be applied to show how much they learned within that skill. Example, when a user learns "Botany" they gain 5 die rolls. This "trait" increases the amount of die rolls by 1.5 rounded to the highest number at 1 die roll per learning, however any number higher than 1 die roll is rounded down. For example: User learns Botany and gains 5 die rolls. With this Trait they will gain 7 die rolls. However if a user learns Lockpicking they normally get 1 die roll, however with this Trait they will gain 2 die rolls.

Young Lenion, was in search of a home. A new one. His parent's have taught him a lot, over the years, but in his day of age it was time to make an individual of himself. Most of the apartments in Mist Village were already booked at this time. It would be a stretch to find one here. He had a carriage of essentials ready to go. His map in hand, and wide assessment of items. He would need to prepare for University work soon, so he only had so long to find a place to stay. That much wasn't the issue, more of a minor hindrance.
Lenion was, a very picky young man regardless of what it was he was finding himself acquainted with. He had a check list on him. In his left hand he held it tightly pressed and, folded up underneath the map in which was underneath the paper of available homes that he had found. A very strong selection of places all over Mist Village. If he hadn't found anything from this round of search he wouldn't worry so much for it. There are other villages to take a gander in. To see its uses. To see what it serves to him personally.
The young man would, be leaned up against a wall. His shortly cut dark brown hair lightly moved as it was bristled up, and slicked back some. He enjoys the mannered look. A simple button up black shirt with matching slacks, shoes, and gloves. Okay so maybe he is very plain but, he always has been that way. No matter. His eyes were his real catchers of attention. Burning embers that see a lot more than some realize.
He was slowly gazing over the area. Sort, well maintained grass. Most of it was healthy and, sectioned off by concrete. Still held a wonderful look to view, added with the clean atmosphere rather nicely. However he would not be so fooled. Lenion had placed his carriage in an back alley. Only for the time being. But, he didn't want anyone messing with it while he went off to judge the living quarters. He kept his presence to himself at all times as he would carefully kneel down and, look at the soil even further.
Taking his gloved right hand he wouldn't gently tug at a grass blade. The resistance was quickly met as it barely budged. He'd begin rubbing his fingers together and, test the overall texture of the grass itself. Seemed healthy enough. Little to no residue was left when he stopped and, glanced at his gloved fingers. Of course there was need to check many more areas of interest. However he wasn't in too much of a rush. Place number one was a good one after all.
