The Greed of Dragon

"I'm Bored..." It seemed as though I hadn't done anything for so long. My boredom grew with each passing minute and my need to find something to entertain me was becoming dire. If I had a money pile, a gold hoard, or a stack of gems I would be content with life but I didn't. All I had was this annoying bank book with the promise of riches. Annoying. I wanted something to touch, something I could feel. The need to feed was also growing within me. I wanted to eat something, someone. I need stimulation! Anything to distract myself from my failures in life of not being rich. Looking around I could find nothing in this cave of mine worth anything. I see my sword, I see my pants and belt, I see my butt bag, and nothing else. It's cold and damp in this cave of mine. I can't stay here. I stand from my lying position on the cold floor and slip my sword holster over my chest, strapping it to my body tightly. Pants next, I slip them over my nakedness and tighten them with my utility belt. It's time to leave now.

I venture outside of my home, into the wilderness of the Land of Rain. It had been a long time since I came out into the day light. I never thought leaving the cave to be worth anything as the Land of Rain was always cloudy but today, in this forest, I find that the sun is out for once. My scaled, bare feet touched the dirt as I walk and my toes find grass crinkling beneath me. It's wet with dew but it's better than the hard floor of the cave. Something out here should keep my attention. Something, anything... My mind is rife with thoughts of gold coins and cut diamonds. I want them. I NEED them. Where are they?
