It was a cloudy day at 6 PM when the Uchiha entered town. He had recently left the Leaf Village to go out on a training trip. He was a mere Genin and had much to learn and as such figured leaving the village for a bit would help him. Lance was deep in though as he traversed into town. He wanted to learn a lot before he returned to the village. He really desired to focus on more Taijutsu techniques and even more Fire and Lightning Jutsu. Perhaps the new scenery would inspire him to create his own effective Jutsu or even pick up a new martial art style. Though he wouldn't let this be the only reason he came out here. The Uchiha decided to think up of techniques to practice while he was out and learn before returning as well, not just figure out new techniques to learn.
Techniques weren't the only things on his mind of course. He could possibly meet new people out in the new area. Meeting new people isn't exactly his forte since he usually kept to himself and minded his own business, but it wouldn't hurt to at least find somebody that could show him around town or even get some information. Then a new thought struck, how would he learn new techniques without talking to other people? Even though he somewhat despised going out and talking to new people, he enjoyed their company. Not necessarily talking to them, but maybe just being in the same atmosphere. He was getting off track. Talking to people would allow him to know about the new techniques he was open to, he wouldn't know them just by walking around. Though perhaps he could find some inspiration?
everything was well until he actually started looking at his surroundings. He didn't even notice what kind of town this was. Now he did, he could clearly see that this town was for gambling. Just at a glance he could see that most of the people that were here didn't even reside here, they were just visiting to gamble and.. for the women? He could see plenty of drunks strutting through the streets, wobbling and looking as if they'd fall down at any moment. It seemed as if they were with women, whether they actually woo'd them or paid for them, Lance would never know. Women hmmm.. Lance never could understand them. It isn't as if he talked to them all the time, but it seemed quite a few found some sort of interest in him, always trying to hide their gaze whenever he turned their way, as if they didn't want him to know they were looking-- no staring at him it seemed.
Lance shook off the last thought. Though.. was it something he wore? Currently the boy was wearing his usual public attire, which was a black, short sleeved, pullover sweatshirt. It also had a collar on it, though it wasn't that large, yet large enough to rise up to just under his ears. This collar however didn't fully wrap around, at the front it cut off and was actually a V-Neck. This jacket was rather comfortable, it was soft and not restricting in the slightest. It was even rather stylish, with the red complimenting the black by only showing on the edges of the sleeves, inside of the collar, and the bottom. On the back of this jacket was the Uchiha crest, centered and enlarged to a decent size. Under this he wore a simple black tee. To compliment the top, he wore a simple pair of white cargo shorts. Instead of blue sandles like most other Genin, he had black ones. These black ones even rose quite a few inches up his legs, even covering his ankles. At the ankle though, was white tape wrapped around. As well as his usual attire, since this time he was here for training, he had his gauntlets on. They were however hidden under some armbands, black of course. Something else that seems out of place was the Katana on his left hip. Last but not least, he had is forehead protector on his head, showing off the Leaf Insignia. This caught a few glances from others as well as the Uchiha crest on his back.
Lance decided the first place he should head to would be some sort of hotel to stay at. He figured he'd stay here for the night at least, perhaps a day or two longer. Coal colored eyes scanned around the town as he strolled through, weaving out of the way of others, especially drunks. He caught a few glances of some girls looking at him, but that wasn't what he was interested in. He only had a bit of money with him, but figured it would be enough. If anything he could find some odd jobs to do while he was out here to pay for necessities. The Uchiha turned and went to a building, leaning against the wall some while letting out a short sigh from his lips. There was a lot of movement and frankly, he was a bit lost. He'd remain for a few minutes to gaze around, still on a search for a hotel, or really anything interesting at that.
