Kitakaze (North Wind)
Rank: C
Skill: Taijutsu
Effect: The user, following a sucessful Kibikibikaze, leans back to avoid a counter-attack and strikes in a wide kick with their off-foot.
Special: --
Drawback: --
Description: After completing a Kibikibikaze, the user then rolls their torso backwards, leaning backwards and to the side gracefully to avoid a counter-attack and let it pass above them. While doing so, they deliver a wide, roundhouse kick with their off-foot. They then resume the stance.
Limit: Must learn from a Gintsuki no Seikou Mai Master. Must know Kibikikaze (Brisk Wind).
Kojis sensei returned to oversee his training. Koji was excited to show him his progress. He performed the technique on the dummy several times so Utamaru could see his skill. "Hmm, You'll have to turn faster than that." He said. "When you begin pivoting on your foot, try quickly flipping it to the side at a ninety degre angle. That should help you gain enough momentum to perform the kick with more power." Koji tried this. He leaned back after his initial punch, stepped to the side and then began pivoting. As he did so he flipped his foot like his master said and spun around, slamming his leg into the target as if he had swung a powerful club.
"Perfect!" Exclaimed Kojis delighted sensei. It was time now for them to spar and for Koji to apply what he'd learned in combat. The two shook hands, displaying there kanji tattoos to one another and then began there brawl. Utamaru opened up and with a straight punch aimed at Kojis abdomen but Koji easily dodged with the tentou and then threw a punch in retaliation, which his master easily blocked as he launched a heel kick at koji. Now was the time to use the North Wind. Koji leaned back but not fast enough, and the kick struck him in his left shoulder.
Koji staggered for just a moment before regaining his stance. He pushed through the pain and struck again with his fist aimed straight at his masters jaw. This time Utamaru ducked down allowing the punch to pass over him, and then he performed an uppercut that was aimed straight back at his students own jaw. Koji had already stepped to the side and leaned back himself, dodging his masters attack and pivoting into the roundhouse kick with ease. Kojis kick struck his sensei in his raised arms, causing him to stagger backwards momentarily. Koji had never thrown his sensei off balance before. This was a remarkable feat for him.
