Effect: By coating a select radius of earth, the user creates a field of restraining earthen substance to hinder the opponent.

Drawback: This techniques does not discriminate between friend or foe.
Description: Upon expelling chakra across a given plot of land, the earth will become sensitive to all who move across it. At any time a person or creature steps on the earth, amorphous earth will rocket forth to grasp the intruder's ankle. The ground will hold on with a vice-like grip for two turns before it crumble. The earth will likewise crumble if struck with a C rank amount of damage. This technique when first preformed will create a field with a 15 meter radius that spreads from the user as a focus, but additional C rank training will increase that range by 10 meters up to 85 meters. The field will remain active for 5 turns, increasing one turn proportionally with the range training.
Limit: Doton no Jutsu.

Kuroki smiled as he read about the next jutsu he was training. Earlier in the day he was reading various scrolls to learn from when he stumbled on this beauty. Boketsu Hando was the so called hands of the grave. It was appropriate for the Wraith of the dead to know such a maneuver. Anything to make it harder for people o attack him directly at least until his hand to hand was up to par.

Kuroki back in the present began the hand seals needed for this. Each hand seal full of meaning and chakra as he sent it into the earth to make the very earth obey his requests. Little hands began to reach out to grab those that would cross his threshold. Working this with his fog would be unsettling to say the least. It wasn't very strong on it's own but it would do.

Kiroki crouched down and observed the little hands that reached out. He shook his head and then twisted his chakra slightly to change the appearance of the earthen hands. To work properly he needed to give them skeletal hands. And that was what he did each of the reaching hands were skeletal in appearance. He spent a moment more observing them and then dismissed them.

Kagemane no Jutsu (Shadow Imitation Technique) (10 Meters)

Effect: The Kagemane no Jutsu (Shadow Imitation Technique) allows the user to extend their shadow on any surface, including water, and as far as they know and as long as there is sufficient area.
Special: "Holds Rat Seal" Technique performs after length of normal handseals.
Drawback: Tiring to use repeatedly. The ability is subject to some form of diminishing return and decreases in potency after repeated use. If the user is low on chakra, the performance rate of the technique also deteriorates. Insufficient lightning will make the technique less effective. A particularly strong opponent can also resist the shadow's forced imitation. May only change directions within the span of 60 degrees. When retracting the technique it may only retract by retracing where it has gone.
Description: Once the user's shadow comes in contact with the target's shadow, the two merge and the target is forced to imitate the user's movements. The user and the target could both throw a kunai. It is recommended to keep all weapons in areas where they normally don't keep them.
•First Learned user uses technique up to 10 meters. Each time learned gains an extra 10 meters.
•After 50 meters user must train an extra 10 TP per tech - TP Does not go down by Class Level.
•After 100 meters user must train an extra 10 TP per tech - TP Does not go down by Class Level.
•After 150 meters user must train an extra 10 TP per tech - TP Does not go down by Class Level.
•Cap of this technique is 200 meters.
•Technique may travel 10 meters per second plus 5 meters per Class Level.

•If user is a Master of the Clan the amount of rounds increases by 1 round.
•When user's Chakra reduces by 1/4 their max distance reduces by 1/4. Same mathematics occurs the more chakra is used. (Use Honor System).
•May only use other Nara Techniques in conjunction with this technique.

Kuroki had been neglectful of late and he aimed to correct that. With a show of shamanistic might he lite the torches around and a campfire that had been nearly hidden with ghost fire orbs. This would give him the light he would need to have a shadow. For he needed shadows not just darkness to work this jutsu of the clan that had adopted him. And so he smiled at the little show he performed.

Kuroki was now ready as he performed some hand seals. His shadow began to move and change shape. It was the Nara Clan that had adopted him and taught him the ways of true shadow manipulation. It was one thing to summon shadow creatures and use the shadow stuff of the other realms. This was different as he used his own shadow as a weapon to bind others. It was an extension of himself.

It was stretching out not to any real goal but as a practice in of itself. He continued this tiring quickly but not as he had once before. He was growing stronger within the shadow arts. This was something people who knew of his talents would not be so surprised. But His talents of late had been stretching more into light instead of darkness which was his roots.

Kuroki wasn't done with his shadow manipulation. He knew he could reach further than that measly distance. So once his shadow had returned he repeated the hand seals that would send it out. He could have just held the last seal but he wanted a fresh start on his shadow manipulation. Returning to these roots was refreshing to him. So even as he was recasting his shadow he had to focus on old lessons learned.

Kuroki was pushing his endurance bounds but with more subtle art than the fires of the soul. He was using a literal reflection of himself. It was his own shadow not darkness or some external force but modifying his own shadow. This was something that was the secret of the clan that had adopted him. It was what was special to that clan and he owed it to them to learn well.

In his shamanistic ways he had been neglecting this. But no longer or more precisely he wasn't ignoring it any longer. His shadow would be one more weapon in a growing arsenal that he was building. Either way he needed practice and so he was doing. Stretching his shadow and making it move in ways that didn't follow his actual movements. And soon he would have the strength to actually bind someone with it.

Description: One activates this jutsu by placing their palm on a Halo. In reaction to this, a single tendril moves out of the Halo, and flows towards the location the user choses. The tendril is covered in smaller tendrils which, when coming into contact with a living creature, stick to them – allowing the user of this jutsu to coil the tendril around them with ease. Once in contact with a living creature, these tendrils suck chakra out of it until they either get ordered to stop or when they’re attacked with a B-ranked ninjutsu, which disrupts the chakra flow enough to make it completely disapear.
Limit: One must have at least one Seiðr Halo and Chakra Gavinha activated.

Kuroki was interrupted from his use of shadows by his glowing halo appearing over his head. He hadn't gotten control of that particular piece of heritage of his. It was the only thing that let him know that he did have a bloodline of some sort, and with a sigh he grabbed a hold of the halo and looked at it. The glow was dim and matched that of his ghostly flames that were spread about.

But it was a thing of chakra that gave off a aura of it's own. It resonated with all that he been training and doing. Basically it was a part of him and grew as he did. That was fine and with a subtle change of his chakra in his hands the thing shot out insubstantial tendrils. They were of the same chakra substance of the halo and glowed with the same pale light.

Kuroki's stuff seemed to extrude the air of spookiness and otherworldly. Here he was having a halo of tendrils. With a shift of chakra that was more felt than known he changed the ten into something more. The ten insubstantial tendrils turned into a larger one with mini tendrils hanging from it. But while it still wasn't physical it had a real world pull on the chakra around it. It would drain like his fog would do.

Drawback: During this no other jutsu can be done with any of the used Halo. If the user uses this technique to make damaged limbs work there is a great possibility that it takes even more, possibly unrepairable, damage.
Description: The tendrils shoot out of the Halo into the place the user wants to move. Once in the body the tendrils search their way to the skeleton, wrap themselves around the bones and force them to make the user move. This can even be used to make handseals if one has their hand crushed his hands.
Limit: Must have at least one Seiðr Halo and Chakra Gavinha activated.

Suddenly the tendrils broke back apart and the halo flew away. Kuroki had to follow the disc of pale eerie light only a short ways to a body in the falls. It appeared another star crossed lover or depressed person had found their way to the cliff above. And from there the story ended like so many, the person jumped and died in the river below. Whether the body was from drowning or being knocked around Kuroki didn't know.

Kuroki tried to grab the disc so it stopped disturbing the dead but as soon as he did so tendrils shot out. The tendrils wrapped themselves around and through the arm of the deceased. Suddenly they forced the arm to move, and interesting light shown in Kuroki's eyes at that moment. So he was more than a seeker of justice for the dead's souls, his power could move the bodies of the souless.

This was an interesting development. Did that mean he was a necromancer on top of everything else? Kuroki had no answers for himself and the spirits were quiet. Maybe he was to use this power to help combat those that seek the power for selfish desire or for evil purposes? How thin was the line he was about to cross between the monsters he hunted and the monster he is?

Drawback: During this no other jutsu can be done with any of the used Halo. The bodies are only capable of performing the most basic TaiJutsu. Can only be performed on lifeless bodies. Takes a turn to prepare.
Description: A player places their hand on a Halo, then moves the Halo close to a dead body, and Tendrils sprout out. They wrap around the target’s limbs and with that, move them about. This body only has the strength of an average person.
Limit: Must have at least one Seiðr Halo and Chakra Gavinha activate

Interestingly enough the realization wasn't enough for the tendrils to stop. No instead the tendrils spread out through the dead body. Kuroki was at a loss to explain why his halo has gone rogue in the fashion that it did. But it had and it was acting oddly. Suddenly the tendril infested body stood up and began its slow climb out of the water and onto the shore.

It went over to the grave keeper's shed and grabbed a shovel. There is began digging a hole. It didn't take long for Kuroki to figure out what the body and apparently his chakra was doing. It was digging a grave for the poor sod that had died. It gave him a way to retrieve bodies now for proper rites later. In the meantime they could be used for physical labor if it was simple.

This would not be a jutsu that he would use much. But it would have it uses it would seem for now. It seems his being abandoned to the streets left him with a more interesting mystery than simple laying of the dead. Apparently his family has been in the business of the dead as well if these abilities were true. Because they did not have the feel of the ones granted by the necril book.

Drawback: These halo have no effect on the world unless jutsu are used with them. The bright glow makes stealth hard if not impossible.

Description: The user creates a bright glowing Halo made out of chakra with a diameter of 100 centimeter near their body. The colour of the glow can be altered by the user. Per time learned, one is capable of creating another Halo. When first created, a Halo will appear within a meter from the user, and from then on tend to swirl about behind their back unless they are used. The user can move these Halo through the air as they please as long as they are within eyesight.

Limit: Clan jutsu.

Kuroki thought hard about his halo as it was laying to rest the body that is was controlling. He decided to see what would happen if he fed more chakra into the area that he felt the halo most strongly with. And suddenly a second halo appeared over his head even though the first was still in use. This was new to the Shaman like shinobi. But these halos are the opposite of his darkness induced self.

It was just so odd to have a light shining like that when he was all shadow and darkness. What was more the darkest jutsus he now had were born of this light. But his most safe jutsus were born of shadow and darkness. The world it seemed was more than the usual thoughts about light and dark. But then again this was a lesson he had known long ago. So why was it being revisited?

Effect: The user can control their Soul's Wavelength that they can resonate their Soul's Power throughout their body and mind.

Description: When the user makes an attack with a weapon (Manufactured, Improve, Natural, or Unarmed Strike) the user makes a Soul Wavelength Roll. If the result of the check beats a Difficult Roll +5 per Resonance Point, the user adds +5 per Resonance Score as untyped Damage to their Damage within the Attack. If the Check succeeds the user gains a +1 bonus to Ability Drain and Damage effects for 1 round. When using this technique, the user may chose to forgo the full bonus of their Resonance Score and instead use a reduced score. This changes the difficulty and the bonus to Damage accordingly. If the user has the technique Soul Tuning in addition to this Technique, the user may use this ability to Aid Another creature or any creature within the Range of Soul Tuning's Effect rather than just someone adjacent to the user.
Limit: Must be a Mabuki.

Spectre was feeling the resonance within his own soul peaking at the understanding of his dual nature. Kuroki was truly a man of both worlds. He was an equation between life and death, good and evil. He was a balancing force and he misunderstood that no he was not to be just the destroyer of the dead but a balance of forces. But he was in no way a neutral person.

A neutral person would not have the connection to the soul that he had. He was a force for good but also for freedom. His form of freedom meant cutting the ties that bind a soul forcibly. But the soulless bodies of the already departed would be open season for those of the right training. Nothing says he couldn't fight fire with fire. He would be the light in the darkest regions.

But Kuroki will also be the shadow in the echoed halls of light. For good needs balance to be good. Otherwise evil would still flourish. This understanding and ability to read his own souls waves gave him better understanding of how he could use it. He could take the resonance he feels within the world and more importantly with his soul and feed it back into the physical realm.

Description: Starting at "D" Class a Soulcaster can assault the soul of another. This attack is a 15 meter ray of soft blue light. The user attacks one person by extending their arm out. This attack hits the insides of the user, affects their very life force. At first it doesn't cause much damage however the higher the more the user learns the deadlier the technique becomes. The attack leaves no physical damage, but creates internal damage against the user's life line. People said it feels like having a heart attack while having lost of breathe. Each time learned the user is capable of shooting this technique 5 meters extra. Technique may travel 10 meters per second plus 5 meters per Class Level.
After 50 meters user must train an extra 10 TP per tech - TP Does not go down by Class Level. Searing Soul does an extra 5 Armour Points of Damage.
After 100 meters user must train an extra 10 TP per tech - TP Does not go down by Class Level. Searing Soul does an extra 5 Armour Points of Damage.
After 150 meters user must train an extra 10 TP per tech - TP Does not go down by Class Level. Searing Soul does an extra 5 Armour Points of Damage.

Cap of this technique is 200 meters. Capping increases damage by an extra 5 Armour Points. If the target is undead, the Soulcaster assaults the tethers that bind the body to the material plane, inflicting half the damage instead. This attack has no effect on constructs.
Limit: Must be a Soulcaster.

Spectre's soul was becoming stronger and stronger as he trained. Now he felt he could shape his very soul into a weapon to strike down his foes. By impressing his soul against another's he could burned them with the energy contained within. It was similar to some of the the fire jutsus he had been training it would seem. He would have his soul compress the energy it contain in  a searing beam. 

It was a challenge from one soul to another. Kuroki could already see the applications in combat. The beam would also target the tether of the dead to the realm of the living. There the most use it would have. But like all of his abilities it would be weak to begin with. But that was what training was for. And at least this ability was just a realization instead a loss of control. 

The loss of control of the halo had been disconcerting even for him. But Kuroki was back under control now and with a weapon in the form of his own soul's energy. Field testing the ability would be interesting to see but could have a few benefits. Either way the way his abilities were manifesting and the rate spoke to him on a deep level. There was a danger coming that would require him to use such things.

Spectre of Taki it seems was not quite through with his tricks of light with halos. Though the discs that started multiplying around him looked less like a halo as they swirled around behind him and more just like oddness. It couldn't be explained why his powers were manifesting in this way, but the spiritual energy and his unusual techniques was something that could be considered an advantage.

So anyways because he didn't have any active use for his halos, the three just stayed behind him. It was an odd circling behind him that made his large frame and hood cast deeper shadows. The more one tried to describe any specific feature of him at this point between his darkness and the light of the halos behind him would be hard to say. It proved a different kind of hiding one could say.
