Plot: Deep in the lands of Kusa no Kuni, lies a jungle of mystery. All information about the said Jungle is shrouded in rumors and folk tales but only a very select few know of the forest. It is rumored to have remained completely untouched by anybody for years. As years go by, more and more rumors of this place are created, and passed down for generations. After people started going missing, this Jungle got blamed. It appears that many high ranking members of society within Kusa no Kuni are beginning to fear for their own lives, as they have demanded that the current Kusakage do something about it instantly.

For most people, when it rains, it pours... this was no different as it seems the Kusakage is lacking in physical power and people. He knew it was his duty to do something so he had to think fast, so he reached out to every kage he could for any help they can give. Anri Hyuuga, current Kusakage hoped that there was someone out there somewhere who would care. Someone who would want to go on an adventure. He knew more than anyone else that the world was full of nut jobs looking to test death everyday, because he was one of them.

The Jungle of Lore is mainly believed to be haunted, surrounded by an evil glow and an ominous presence. Most normal people would have no chance to ever detect the Jungle of Lore due to the nature of it's chakra, but many shinobi that are close enough can detect it. The jungle itself seems to live as it radiates a magnificent amount of chakra. When inside many people will feel pressured and nervous, as the Jungle itself feels like its out to get you. Over time within the Jungle, one may become used to the negative effects, whether thru learning the true nature of the Jungle and preparing against that, or the negative effects begin to take a toll on the mind.

Along with rumors of Evil spirits, Giants, Trolls, Bigfoot and every other ridiculous fairy tale creatures, the Jungle is swarmed with rumors of endless riches, buried kings armories, and any other venue of profit that encourages the strong and the weak to find their way to the forest. Unfortunately, since no one has ever returned from the Jungle, there's no way to prove anything. By saying no one has ever returned would be a complete and utter lie... A once young Grass shinobi had made it to the outer ring of the forest, the experience there caused him to retire after running as fast as he could out of the Jungle. His name was Risuke O'Mahna but now he lives in the capitol of Kusa no Kuni, and goes by the name "Old man Ri".
Location: Kusa no Kuni (Rare encounter for the jungle itself. Die roll required. )
Rules:

• Any village can participate.

• First post must have items and equipment, clothes... Or you're without them, for the whole event.

• Posting order will be made in my first actual post. Once everyone is in.

• Members are able to loot from enemies(Horrible, IE: bottom 1% roll, will cause horrible random events to occur. The rolls have no effect on loot, but are triggered by too much looting.)

• Death Enabled, GM has final ruling.

• All players will start by assembling at the Kusakage Keep. From there everyone will get more information and then the event starts. Anyone not found on the sign up sheet in the event section and also not at Kusakage Keep by the time of the information, will not be eligible for the Event.

Prize(s): 450,000 Ryo worth of items looted/ things found in the Jungle. If possible I'd like to make the prizes a little more customized. IE maybe a swordsman finds a good sword. Or a character with a lot of AC slots finds some expensive animals they can tame as their own. All under the 450,000 cap an s rank mission would have.

Extra: Under the control of the main Cultist, when the Couatl awakens so does any near by wild life. It cannot be tamed. This couatl has been the product of hundreds and thousands of years of Evolution within this forest. Causing it to become plant like, as a living anomaly, as soon as it dies it fertilizes the Jungle.

Description: Internal - Takes up 6 Augmentation Points. User becomes as large as the user's size category allows (8 feet for Medium-size characters, 4 feet tall for Small Characters). However, the user functions in many ways as if they were 1 size category larger. Whenever the user Roleplays they are treated as Large if that's advantageous to the user. Movements, and Damage Reduction is equal to that of a Large Creature while maintaining the Medium Size. The user is also considered to be Large when determining whether a creature's special attacks based on size (such as Swallow Whole) affect the user.
Limit: Must be a Ritualist for Augmentation Rituals.

Description: Internal - Takes up 4 Augmentation Points. This process inflicts no damage on the user but is possibly disconcerting to others. The user can separate one portion of themselves per Class Level, and removing each part requires half a round. The parts removed from the user remains functional, meaning the user can remove their eye, place it somewhere, and still see through that eye. Limbs will still move when separated, and the user can even separate their head from their body. Movement of separated parts is greatly limited, with most parts having only 1/10th of the user's normal movement. Each portion can still use their own Augmentations but only as long as it makes sense for the separated body part to use the Augmentation. A separated eyeball might use Sensory Augmentations, for example, but an arm or a foot could not. Separated portions resist attacks and other Augmentations as normal as the user's abilities. Any separated parts are as vulnerable as the user. When a part is reattached, any damage it suffered is transferred to the user. Reattaching a separated portion requires half a round.
Limit: Must be a Ritualist for Augmentation Rituals.

Effect: Has a powerful bite that can inflict a curse on those bitten. Capable of performing a host of abilities.

Description: The bite of a radiant couatl carries a powerful curse that punishes any who would dare to raise their hand against such a creature. A creature that is damaged by a radiant couatl’s bite must succeed on a Fortitude save 23 or be permanently sickened. The second time that a creature is damaged by a radiant couatl’s bite, he must succeed on a Fortitude save (same Save) or be permanently blinded. The third time that a creature is damaged by a radiant couatl’s bite, and each additional time thereafter, he must succeed on a Fortitude save (same save) or be affected as though by the Jutsu Bestow Curse. A Break Enchantment, Cleanse Curse, removes all penalties caused by a radiant couatl’s bite. With its Radiant Wings, radiant couatl’s wings create brilliant patterns of light in the proper conditions, which make it difficult to even look at the creature, let alone fight it. As long as the radiant couatl is in an area of normal or brighter light, any creature within 10 meters of it that looks at it must succeed on a Will save 24 each round, or be dazzled for as long as it remains within 10 meters of the radiant couatl, and continues to look at the radiant couatl, and for 1d4 rounds thereafter. If the creature fails a saving throw to resist this effect while it’s already dazzled, that creature becomes confused, instead. If the creature fails a saving throw to resist this effect while it is already confused, it becomes nauseated, instead. Yields: The Poison of a Couatl can be removed and will keep its potency indefinitely. Couatl hide is sometimes used by evil mages to bind powerful Ritual Books. Couatl's Teeth are 6 to 9 inches long. May be ground and create a potion to help against the next Damaging Jutsu. A user who causes a Jutsu that does damage increases the damage by 2 per Rank of Jutsu and +1 per 5 Armour Points of Damage. The scent glands of a feathered serpent can be used to make a rare, exotic perfume increasing Skill Category 1 Skills by +5 for 25 hours or until it is washed off. Feathers are used to make Feather Tokens. The blood of a radiant couatl is a powerful cure-all, and the creature's blood can replicate the effects of a miracle Jutsu, but only for the purposes of undoing or removing harmful effects.

Extra: Completely Benevolent at all times, will not ever attack nor will it defend anything. The spirit is implemented to guide some people to treasure, and guide everyone eventually to the "Center" of the Jungle. If this ghost is killed by a player it will cause bad luck for anyone withing 100 meters of that player. This bad luck causes everything to go wrong and the best case scenario is to run home, and quit forever. The spirit does not speak nor judge as it will only refuse to help someone of utter chaotic nature.

Effect: A harnessed Gem that creates an agate acorn capable of being absorbed by a tree and coming to life for a time while under the control of the user.

Description: As druids worked to unlock the secrets of moss agate, they received assistance from other intelligent creatures who shared the druid’s desire to preserve nature. The treant’s deep knowledge into the natural world gave them the knowledge of what alchemical propertiesl ay at the heart of the moss agate, but they were unable handle the mineral with the right amount of skill to harness the Alchemy. The druids were only too willing to help the treants harness the Alchemy. When a moss agate is carved into the shape of an acorn the minerals Alchemical properties are harnessed. Once harnessed, when the treant’s gall is placed inside a live tree (usually by cutting a small hole or using an existing opening) the treant’s gall is absorbed into the wood of the tree. This process takes one round. Once absorbed, the tree becomes an animated creature under the user's control. The tree remains under the user's control for up to 24 hours or until it is destroyed. Once the duration ends, the tree takes root wherever it is located at the time. A person using multiple treant’s galls can only control a number of animated trees equal to Impeccable Will. Description: Combine all the ingredients into a half-bottle and shake it until the ingredients are thoroughly mixed. You must be sure that the ingredients are exposed to direct sunlight. This will make 1 standard-vial of "Life Force Retainer". If sunlight is not shining upon the ingredients during creation, the liquid turns black and is completely ruined. This product is good for 50 years after creation. Drinking this product no more than 8 hours prior to dying allows a being to be safely resurrected after death without suffering penalties by a weaker Resurrect.

Description: Begin by mixing the powdered sun crystal with the king scorpion venom. Heat this mixture, being careful not to bring it to a boil, then pour in the true water. Add the powdered true land into this mixture and stir until thoroughly mixed. Continue heating this mixture while stirring until it just starts to boil, then immediately remove from heat. This will make 1 standard-vial of "Giant Growth (Humanoid)". This product is not for animals. If an animal consumes this product, it will have no effect on them other than making them extremely nauseated for several hours and inducing severe stomach cramps that inflict 20 Armour Points of damage per hour for the next 3 hours. The effects of this product are the same as that for "Giant Growth (Creature)", except it only works on Humanoids.

Soooooo I'm really interested in this event, It sounds like a really mystic and kind of tomb raider/Uncharted jungle exploration quest with a ton of witch craft and mystery that even though I'm REALLY under leveled for an "S" rank event I have to say I really want to be a part of this.

What do you feel about the chances of a D rank going in... I mean I'd like to join and also but my chances of survival are probably slim. This all be looking like Vietnam, it's already giving me 'nam flashbacks.
