Hakkeshou: Sekishokyuu (Hands of the Eight Divinations: Barrier Sphere)
Rank: C
Skill: Taijutsu
Effect: The user releases a mass burst of chakra from their tenketsu, stopping Taijutsu and physical projectiles.
Special: --
Drawback: Does not protect against Ninjutsu at all.
Description: The user releases a mass burst of chakra from their tenketsus, forming a dome-shaped blast with a diameter of about one meter. Any foe or physical caught within the blast area is stalled or completely stopped by the counterforce. This technique, however, cannot stall Ninjutsu attacks. Also, because it is stationary, it requires more chakra than the Kaiten.
Limit: Must learn from a Jyuuken teacher or at the Hyuuga Mansion. Must be a Hyuuga. Must know Jyuuken Advanced Stance. Must known Hakkeshou: Nankan.
Kyodai was in the yard of the main house mansion waiting for his father to show up. He was there to practice more Jyuuken. His Jyuuken was by far his weakest martial art style even though he uses it, it wasn't what he relied on. Partially due to not having enough time in the day to train everything. His father had been only a little disappointed that this was the way of things but understood that his son was trying his best.
Kyodai stood in the center of a sand circle with bare feet and in the traditional gi of most martial arts. It was tied off with a yellow belt. This was not his normal outfit by any means but it served nicely for when he was strictly doing unarmed training. His first practice was a simple stationary exercise that require more concentration than any actual action. He was to expel his chakra in a sphere around himself.
Now he had a good amount of experience expelling chakra through his hands but this was more than through the hands. Kyodai had to push it through every tenketsu evenly. It was a dome shape blast that would deflect most physical attacks. It was one of the many traditional tactics of the Hyuuga clan. His instinct would be to redirect an attack using Aikido or Krav Maga but sometimes this might just be the better way.
Kyodai was a fairly bright student of medicine and the martial arts so it wasn't hard for him to figure out how to expel his chakra in this way. No the challenge was the fine thread of balance to use this technique without exhausting himself. For he just a finite amount of chakra to work with. He was no great endurance when it came to chakra rather the fine control that was the symbol of his bloodline.
Even his mother had fine control as a medic. Kyodai as a medic and a hyuuga had finer control than most, especially after becoming a master doctor and medical shinobi. Now admittedly his specialty was incisions made with a scalpel. But that was neither here nor there. So there Kyodai stood practicing the barrier sphere standing in his odd pose that was a blend of Jyuuken and Aikido.
