Nishi considers himself, humble. In his eyes, he doesn't ask much and what he wants has always been minor. He only risks himself and not others, he doesn't boast about himself, he has never been greedy for neither attention nor power. He is still a genin and after all the years, he knows his ability well enough not to overstep his boundaries. Spotlight is something he avoids and he much prefers to be alone or in a pleasant distant company of strangers. He generally doesn't go against the majority's wishes and always found change to give away to those that needed it more than him. Perfectly humble.
Although not a frequent liar, Nishi does have a habit of wearing masks. He generally disguises his negative emotions with something much more positive and is often successful in his disguise. He favors a polite and partially too nice, partially too naive mask as it often causes others to forget that he is a shinobi. He does, however, have his moments where he speaks fragments of what is on his mind. Though completely honest, he purposefully arranges his sentences to keep most of his intentions hidden. He often enjoys conversations in which pieces are exchanged without a whole picture as he finds delight in analyzing others. As such, he is often seen in a pub with a crowd around him. Not many may know of his face nor his name, but he remembers every single one and enjoys the overall environment of chaos. Besides, with all of his stories and that pleasant smile he made for a good drinking buddy. A face and name easy to forget next morning through a hangover with only bits of story to remember.
Nishi is considerably more honest when he is sure that it won't bite back at him. He can be quite rude in his honesty and is capable of sarcastic rants. If he was someone who was hard to dislike openly, outside he is someone easily disliked and found to be annoyance at times. His negative emotions are much easier to read and his matter of speech abandons the softness and instead takes on a harsher, almost a growl like manner at times. He often doesn't hide how he considers environment around as something to be observed and that he is the observer. As such, he is capable of probing and speak of certain topics in an attempt to garner a certain reaction or just to see what the reaction may be. Although at times he is awkward in his obsession, he tends to be always comfortable in any environment, forming suitable masks befitting the occasion and setting. As such, it is easy to assume that he feels nothing of empathy and that he views the world in a cold methodical logic. Surprisingly, he is very much capable of empathy and even more capable of guilt. He simply regards his curiosity as his first priority and as result, became very good at pushing and ignoring such feelings.

Common features dominate Nishi, keeping his face to be typical and easily forgotten with lack of specific feature to identify him by. His skin is on the light, but with slight tinge of regular tan that keeps his typical colors of black, dark brown in light, hair and iris from strong contrast. He is neither too tall nor short, neither too muscular nor too skinny. Not a scar nor skin flaw of any kind shows above the neck. The singular contrast of his feature is the round oval face with the sharp, raised almond eyes and yet even this stands to be muted as he often disguises in a fox-like smile or purposefully keeps his eyes half closed to keep it dull. This is further helped by his hair's bangs reaching down to be slightly above his eyeline. Neither too long nor too short, it covers the nape of his neck and has a slight curl to keep it from being too perfect. He is just the norm of the background and he much prefers this position, attempting to hide his scars with often muted and typical styled clothing.
His body, at first glance, is an average. However beneath the layer of cloth and flesh hides well trained muscles that often refuse to show until exercised upon. Instead of training to improve strength, Nishi has placed more focus on being discreet and speed, resulting in rather flexible body with smaller muscules easily hidden to seem untrained. However as being a shinobi for so long, it was impossible to go without a scarring or several. His torso is spotted with both old and somewhat recent traces of various wounds obtained from past. This is the same for his arms and legs, with the worst being the left thigh with a huge burn on the outer edge. Although this does not hinder him no longer on day to day basis, he still retains the habit of a slight limp during his daily life. He however, have managed to keep his wrist scar free and his hands are relatively clean with exception of very feint lined scars and rough patches on the palm from training and exercising techniques over periods of time.
Nishi much prefers the typical style of the location he is in. He loves to blend and prefers the muted colors to keep him comfortable no matter the location. He can be seen wearing dull but tailored clothing as much as he can be seen wearing a simple shirt and pants he seemed to have grabbed from a side stand on sale. However during a typical mission or training, he does prefer black; with dark navy and dark brown being his next choice. A simple turtleneck a half size too big, loose comfortable pants tucked neatly into standard dark colored closed toe shoes, black gloves with metal guard and a utility belt around his waist, pouch for containers around his thigh with headband either around his neck or properly worn around his forehead complete his mission and training preference.

Background:
Nishi Eitoku never could come up with a reason that satisfied others as to why he chose to become a shinobi. So he preferred to pretend that he had been a young innocent child who idolized the heroes of the village. A simple moment of foolishness that changed the second child of a small dango shop. Eitoku was, after all, born in a normal family of five with hard working but very loving parents with cheerful elder brother of 3 years and bright younger sister 5 years younger. He didn't have to become a shinobi. His parents had never considered it, especially after his father's cousin was forced to retire from losing a leg. So when Eitoku, a year older than the average entrance age for Academy, gave them paperwork required to enter the Academy, his parents had initially been horrified. They had no way of knowing that their pleasant son was sick and tired of having too many questions. They didn't know that he had been quiet due to the questions he crowded his little brain with and that although he had been content with not knowing the answers, it was slowly agitating him and the small pleasure of knowing had begin to addict him. Eitoku managed to convince his parents and he entered Academy a year too old and full of silent questions.
A brilliant student in taijutsu, promising one in genjutsu, a hopeless in ninjutsu. Taijutsu proved an escape from his crowded thoughts, genjutsu amused him as it was only real to the victim. Ninjutsu was too straight forward and although Eitoku found it interesting enough to memorize the theories, he never found it worth more than such. There were always too many interesting questions and as new ones popped, the old questions of ninjutsu was often pushed away. Despite this very partial interest, he was still considered a bright student and was fairly popular, always hanging with one group or another. He graduated with expectations and for the first year, everything went accordingly. Until during a typical mission of fetch, an unexpected explosive nicked a chunk of Eitoku's thigh.
Despite the blood loss, he survived and was recommended retirement. There was a slim chance his left leg would ever fully support his weight and as he focused heavily on taijutsu during combat, it would place him at a severe disadvantage. His parents and siblings attempted to convince him to retire for the 6 years of rehabilitation. With such effort, despite his leg having fully healed, Eitoku spent more and more time in the family shop compared to missions. He would have fully retired then if it wasn't for the boredom. It lead to thirst and eventually he found himself taking whatever missions that would take him out of the village and into areas where a rogue might be spotted. He wasn't a fighter, the years of inactivity had done its toll, and so he plotted. If he could avoid it, he never came in direct contact with his so-called targets. He preferred to use the crowd, to both hide and perhaps spread a word or two. Rarely he went as far as casting a genjutsu or two. Generally he stood as a bystander amazed and amused at the street fight. Seeing of the techniques and how it was applied sated him and yet it brought more and more questions. He became rash much more frequently as he started to become obsessed and his life became a lower priority. This lead him to become injured, sometimes barely making it out in time with his life. Unlucky Eitoku, his friends and siblings called him as Eitoku started to spend more time in hospital than at home. Then, then he stopped. He never minded how he had been left behind. The fragments he had gathered had been satisfying him plenty, but no longer. So he stopped and now he craves something bigger, a larger fragment or even something whole. A thing he cannot reach unless he can advance himself further not on theories, but in execution.
