Torii's shield would be made of the Chthonic steel that the blade of Bushūgi's Wakazashi was made of. Now how that blade was able to cut any missile made of chakra, this shield would guard against. Similar virtues was made into this shield as was made into the last one. Into the mold for a heavy shield the liquid hot metal was poured. Ryutatsu's senses out to make sure no impurities made it into the metal. The basic sheet shape was formed easy enough as the hot metal cooled.

Torii too had to get reheated and pounded into the proper shape so it could have a slightly rounded curve. Straight flat shields could take less damage than curved ones, hence the shape. It too was a four foot by four foot piece of metal. The shield of course was only as good as it's wielder. But It's shape would diffuse most blows against it absorbing the impact well. Into the red orange metal that supposedly dragon's blood was mixed into was strength and endurance against all things.

Torii neared completion it was almost time to go into phase three of the process. But now the shapes of the weapons could be seen. But as of yet it was a heavy shield to be pounded and shaped by heat and water. Over and over he worked the metal until it looked like a near twin of it's black blue sister. Off the anvil came the bent and pounded metal. Now everything was in place. No seam or blemish could be seen on any piece that he made. That was his way to make sure everything was just right.

Now it was time to work into more features of Deathgate. Only the links of Setsuzoku were truly complete. It was time to start completing and finishing the rest of Deathgate. First was working in reverse order was the shield of Torii. Ryutatsu reheated the metal in the center of the shield, to start now the final phase of shaping. Onto the side that would interlock would be a blemish to it's smooth interior. Here he mounted a Magnet that reflected the proper polization to meet one side of Setsuzoku.

Next on Torii was the opposite side of the Setsuzoku connection would be it's teeth. For the steel was made from the life of dragons and so forged like a dragon's legend it would be. Torii's Wakizashi was mounted in a spring like contraption. With a single press onto the end the blade would shoot forth. A surprise to the unsuspecting and a great weapon for the shield. This was just the first half to be semi completed of course. But there was still the mountings left still to do of course.

The mountings of Torii were simple things but needed. First was a grip handle that could with the press of a button would allow it to spin into a new position. This would give versatility to the piece. That way it can be shift for how it is held and which way the blade is facing. It would also allow the chain to be used as a main weapon if need be. No matter the situation the Deathgate could handle it. It would be able to slash, bash, stab, or whip an opponent. Ryutatsu was proud of his work.

Next for Ryutatsu was the finishing of Bushūgi. It too needed mountings and to be fitted out properly. So it underwent a similar process. But it was positioned to it's connecting side was technically mirrored to it's Torii sister. It was the whole point for them to be same but opposites. So it made sense to make the fittings and mountings this way. The finishing of the second half was fairly quick. But now he had two individual shields it was time to make the as one.

Now for the true final touches to make it Deathgate instead of Death and Gate. First was to connect the two halves together. With Setsuzoku holding them tight together the whole thing stood eight feet tall and four feet wide. That was without the two foot long blade that could stick out at each end. So a twelve foot monstrosity stood before him and it still had a little work left to do. He molded and shaped the front of the shield with a horned Oni skull motif. IT was decoration but it made a whole picture when together and half a picture when separate. Now they were bound as one.

Ryutatsu chuckled as he gathered a lot of Stormium to use. He was experimenting again, but this time with something small and precise. It was going to be an interesting time in the forge for this was a weapon you didn't pound into shape. Besides he was making fifty seven of them at a time. It was time to see if his ability to mass produce small weapons was up to the expectation. So to start his experiment he needed to hunt down the appropriate material.

Ryutatsu knew that Shiki had a large supply in one of his store rooms. Since the senbon creation was for his erstwhile cousin he figured he could use that. He had already used up most of the special materials he had on hand anyways. He knew he was really just getting started as a artisan but it was hard work as is. So he started exploring around the forge's various supply rooms to get the right grade of Stormium. Ryutatsu knew just what he needed for the perfect senbon for the dojo master.

Ryutatsu found the storage room full of Stormium and he smiled like the kid he was. He walked into the storage room and just felt all the metal there. He was trying to sense the purist stormium nuggets in there. It wasn't easy so he began digging through all the ore in the room. Some he would dismiss due to impurities, and others for reasons only a craftsman bent on perfection could understand. He wanted the best quality metal for his work.

The armor they wanted to make was going to take a lot of work to get it done he smiled as he looked at the last piece that he made and talked it over in the corner where you put the rest of the work that he been working on over the course and stay. so he picked up his material in move back over to the center of the room where his Workshop. he then started the long process of examining and making sure that it was creating a material out of in the first place.

Picked up the small black piece of metal and started turning it Forward over and backwards on its head trying to look pretty obvious weak spots on the middle of that can mean that you could transfer over to the armor. He picked it up and started staring at it close his eyes as he did he focused really hard channeling the energy to his eyes. after a moment of doing this he was able to see the electrons that were covering the mental and surrounding it

Where's the trick that he picked up over the course in becoming an apprentice the more he needs a metal easy it would be to shape it and make it been too as well. There is more to being a good Smith than just learning how to hammer metal and make me Bend to your will it was like a sculpture knowing how the stone would react to his chisel. Knowing the properties of the metal made it easier for him to manipulate it into armor. His blood limit was key to this process.

The only issue with this was at the electrons were so tightly packed that was almost impossible to determine any level of death between them so he invented a machine specifically that was able to overcome this obstacle he said they called it The Crucible. What was essentially a giant microwave oven but instead of admitting microwaves it would make two different charges of positive charge and a negative charge on either end of the machine.

What is the energy redo when charged was it would start to make very strong positive charge at the very bottom of the machine now as it did this it would also start to build a corresponding negative charge at the top of the machine. Now if you knew anything about static energies in the natural principles of lightning, you would understand that lightning when naturally charged with move from negative to positive just as word in a battery.

Natural electronic charged was being built up was being constructed through artificial means but by Nature the lightning itself was natural. In essence what he was doing was creating a artificial lighting bowl without the need of electricity rather through the ability of friction. So he moved over to the machine and set the panels on and put the couple switches and as he did Machine whirled to life and started generating internal electricity.

Generating this much power over to the very long time so he had to be a bit patient about this which was something he was pretty loathe to do. so what are you doing next was he moved over the capacitors in the machine and overclock the nodes on them. what does did was remove the resistance that was normally created to make sure that the machine was properly and safely working and functioning just the optimal lightning.
