Speed Jab
Rank: "C", "B", "A"
Skill: TaiJutsu
Effect: This jab gives a fighter high mobility and is often used with the intention of scoring points. Fighters use this variation of the jab when they want to preserve the mobility and balance of their stance.
Special: ---
Drawback: User is unable to use this attack with other attacks. This means user cannot jab, and then hook with the same lead hand while performing the speed jab. User cannot use strength attacks either with Speed Jab.
Description: The speed jab is a variant in which the user takes the time to make fast pacing attacks making the jab come out and attack an opponent much faster. When the user first learns this technique they are able to jab twice in a single movement with their forward hand only performing jabs. When the user then learns the "B" rank version of this technique the user is able to attack three times in a single movement with their lead hand only performing jabs. When the user learns the "A" rank version of this attack the user is able to attack four times in a single movement with their lead hand only performing jabs.
Limit: Must learn in a gym that teaches Bokushingu (Boxing), Must know the Four Punching Basics.
((2nd Time Learning, 0/70 TP))
Ueki dispelled his clone, picking up the training equipment and putting it away. He then made his way over to the speed bag. This was his first time ever seeing the speed bag, and he was unsure of exactly how to use it. Since Mac had said before that he would not train Ueki a lot of things were foreign to him. The only way that he would learn was by picking it up for himself. A complete opposite to the way of Muay Thai. Ueki shook his head as he looked around for someone else using the speed bag. He finally found someone that was proficient at it.
Both of their hands were placed above their head, and their arms moved in a wheel. Each time striking the bag that was moving back and forth along the piece of wood it was attached to. The other person did not seem to be going at an extremely fast pace, it was mostly about rhythm. When Ueki tried to emulate him, he found that he could only hit the bag a few times. Whats more is that the bag constantly bounced around and it was hard to time exactly when to strike.
It would seem to reason that this alone would be a good experience for Ueki. He slowed his pace down and instead of only using two arms, he opted to use all 6. In order to increase his hand-eye coordination he deemed it best to focus on the six and then move down to only using two. If he worked this way his hand-eye coordination would be much better in the long run. Ueki also did not have a speed bag at home to practice on to get his other arms up to speed. Moving at a snail like pace Ueki slowly started to find his rhythm.
