Wolfe got up early that morning as he knew he had a very long trip to get to where he was going so an early start was going to help a lot. He gathered up his clothes making sure to put on his shirt, vest, pants and boots. He then gather up his tools such as his kunai, his kodachi, katana, a notebook and brush and put them away in their various pouches and on his belt. He then gathered his jacket and gloves and made sure to put them on as he walked out of the door on his mission to learn a new skill. Wolfe figured with his natural affinity with botany he would head up to the artic areas and gain some knowledge on some of the plants in the region. Wolfe then headed out of the village to catch some transportation in from one of the villages near the edge of the Water Country.
About 3 days later…
The snow was everywhere across the lands, a beautiful blanket of white covered everything in eyesight in every direction. Wolfe couldn’t help but take a moment to really take everything in as he looked around trying to get a good idea of where he was compared to his destination, and from what he could tell he was only a few miles from where he was looking to be. Wolfe had come all this way to work on his botany skills in the artic regions. As an alchemist he was always trying to find new types of plants and collect them, and in this cause that meant applying everything he knew about other areas such as grasslands, and forest and applying those basic concepts here and expanding on them for this specific region and weather. Wolfe had taken a few days to make this journey in hopes of working on his knowledge of botany in the artic areas. The journey hadn’t been too bad actually, besides the one time he had gotten a little turned around and had to stop at a local village in the area to get directions.
Wolfe focused his chakra for a moment and activated his Ryuugan, and for a moment he was taken back by what he saw. He had never been around these kind of weather conditions before such as snow, ice and the like and being a variant of water based on just being in a different form gave a new and slightly interesting view he had not been expecting, but after a few moments he collected himself and scanned the area as he used his Tenshou Yoden to get a better idea of what kind of weather to expect. As he turned and surveyed a 360* view he saw nothing out of the ordinary snow fall that was already happening and decided he should be fine to continue hos trek to the base of a mountain not that far in the distance where there was some forest area where he might find some of the plants he was looking for. Wolfe deactivated his Ryuugan and began the short journey to where he was heading.
After a short time he arrived at the base of the mountain right next to the outskirts of a small forest type area. From his knowledge of other areas and botany, he figured this was his best place to start looking and he got down around the base of one of the trees and began digging through the snow. After a few minutes he came across some interesting looking plants and he pulled out a small notepad and a brush and began to take little notes in between pulling up different little plants here and there and making to to exam each one of them thoroughly before taking more notes. As he moved along, he found more plants and flowers make sure to pull, exam, and collect them all so he could better exam them later more. He made sure to check each tree for anything that was growing on them and made sure to pull and them to his collection as he took more simple little notes.
