Wolfe was outside with his uncle on in the midafternoon training his sword technique. This was one of Wolfe’s favorite things to do was to practice with his uncle who he had always felt really close to. Like any day his uncle was wiping the floor with him as Wolfe gave his every bit of energy to dodge and block every swing and attack made by his uncle, making sure to try and get an attack in when he could. Of course Wolfe had to provoke his uncle like normal ”Well look at you old man. You pretty good for a man with one arm.” However, this was responded to with his uncle coming in with a low swing like and uppercut with his blade and Wolfe blocking it but his blade was knocked out of the way and before he could create a defense his uncle’s blade found it’s way to Wolfe neck and his uncle just stood there with a smirk as he looked down and saw Wolfe had sneaked a kunai out with his other hand in the moment and was about to try and toss at at his stomach, but Wolfe had been just a tad too slow and the kunai was still in his hand mid swing.
Wolfe let out a sigh as his uncle stepped back and sheathed his sword ”Damn good for a boy with both arms.” He said with a laugh before he walked over to Wolfe who had just given up and fallen on his ass and was just sitting there in defeat ”Hey, for what it is worth, that was actually a very good move, and if I had any less training and you were just a tad quicker that would have been a win for you. You ARE improving. I know it sucks to lose to me over and over, but remember this. Your father has as much training as I do, and is a Jonin, same as I, and he has only gotten as close as you have to beating me. So that is pretty damn good. However, let me show you something. In the same situation you were just in with me, but with just about anyone else but me or another Taijutsu master, if you applied the jutsu I am about to show you, you not only would have won the moment but, clinched the battle.” With that remark Wolfe’s head shot up with a look of intrigue as he loved it when his uncles showed him some of his trade mark skills and tricks.
Wolfe got up and stood next to his uncle as he pulled out a kunai and held it in his hand for just a sec and made sure Wolfe was looking right at it before all the sudden it began to spark with tiny arcs of electricity. He then touched Wolfe’s hand with it before Wolfe could move it, and in that instant his hand went completely numb and he couldn’t move it at all. Wolfe jumped for a second as he looked at his uncle as he gave a slight laugh ”You feel that? I charged it with a pulse burst of lightning. Upon contact it will numb and paralyze that area of the body for a short time. In a moment like you have with me before, if you could have done this AND landed that kunai you would not only have wounded me, but given my body a shock that would have given you the second you needed to gain the upper hand. In battle a second can be the difference between life and death. Hell in my case it is what cost me my arm. If I had been only a second faster I would have blocked the attack that took my arm, and as you know, me and your father pulled you to give you the one on one training you have because we knew you were way past the average kid of your age. We don’t want you to have to repeat what happened to us. So learn this and apply it in that second next time.” Wolfe looked own at his hand then at the spot where his uncle’s left arm should be and then back at his hand before looking at him ”Yes sir, I understand.” Normally Wolfe was always the first person to give an attitude and sigh at the idea of have to waste more energy to learn a new jutsu, but he knew everything his uncle said was right so he had no intention of arguing.
Wolfe walked over so he was a little bit from a tree in the distance, and shook his hand a few times as it regained feeling. His uncle took a seat on a stump nearby as Wolfe pulled out two kunai from his pant leg slot and held them in his hand. He then slowly tried to release chakra into them. At first they glowed for a second and then faded. Wolfe looked a little disappointed, as he tried again and again. It took a few minutes and quite a few number of tries before he could keep the glow on the kunai. He looked at his uncle who was sitting there who shook his head in approval but then held out his hand with a kunai in it again and repeated the process to remind Wolfe it wasn’t just about the release of chakra, but rather using his Raiton realease to charge it with lightning energy. After a few more tries he saw a few spark on the kunai and knew he was on the right track.
