Look in Task Skills thread found in the Skills and Traits Index for more information. Each time learned user gets 1 die roll to increase the skill.

Osoroshi needs to improve his Jump Good technique. "I don't even know how to jump too good. Hmm... I need to do some research." After a couple of hours, Osoroshi went to the outskirts of the village when no one was around. "First, I need to work on my long jump,". He starts from one tree to another, running. He must've completed 30 full turns. The distance isn't too long, but the main focus was long strides. "Okay, now to work on the jump,". Osoroshi goes to a larger gap and starts moving his legs. Almost 12 / 24 meters into the run, he makes his first bound. Four meters into the long jump, Osoroshi has already reached his peak, and falls to his glutes with no form. "Ouch. Still, I have to get better,". He gets back up and approaches the other side with speed, but only having about 2 more meters of gain, and sticking his hands down so he didn't get the feeling of sticks on his cheeks again. "Hmm. Maybe I should try leaning back so I can stick my legs out farther!". He starts on the final attempt and leans back while on the descent from his peak and hits his head on the ground. "Oof! That didn't work like I hoped. Still, I made good progress."
"Okay, now to work on my high jump. I always wanted to be able to jump into the branches of a tree," and that he strived for. Osoroshi ran toward a tree and shot his arms straight up as he reached for the branches. He left the ground about 10 meters between his feet and the ground. When he hit the dirt and grassy terrain, he stumbled forward but caught himself on the trunk of the tree in front of him. "One more try, I almost had it!". He sprinted forward and shot up, once again shooting his arm up with ferocity. He got up to 12 meters. "YES! I think I'm getting it."
He had only his high water jump to work on, but how he was going to train it was a challenge in itself. He had an idea. "That's enough layers for now!" After returning home, Osoroshi equipped every article of clothing he could find. He ran into the shower to get him self soaking wet, just to add the weight of the water to his clothes. "This should be like the real thing!" *He went back to the outsides of the village and tried to jump up to branches. Keyword, tried. He could barely get off the ground. "Gnh, c'mon!". Thirty minutes later, try as he did, he could barely come more than six inches off the grass. "I'm done for now. I've used all my energy and I'm not gonna get that far today. Still though, I think I did good."

Effect: Jump Good is the skill to make Jumps or to soften a fall.

Description: Jump good is a skill that needs no die roll. Jump Good skill determines how well the user can Jump. Without Jump Good the user can jump both vertically and horizontally up to 10 meters. All Jumps are assumed that the user is getting a running start of at least 6 meters in a straight line before Jumping. If the user does not run at least 6 meters, then the bonuses are cut in half. The Maximum Distance a user can jump is dependent on their Skill + their base Jump of 10 meters. There are no checks needed to determine if a user succeeds on a Jump, if they land prone, or any other variable. There are type Jumps calculated with Jump Good; Long Jump, and High Jump.
Long Jump: A long jump is a horizontal jump. At mid-point of the jump, the user attains a vertical height equal to 1-quarter of the horizontal distance. For every 5 Skill Points the user has in Jump Good they add +2 meters to their Base Jump. Example: If the user has 43 Skill points in Jump Good, their long jump will be 26 meters.
High Jump: A high jump is a vertical leap made to reach a ledge high above, or reach a vertical height. For every 5 Skill Points the user has in Jump Good they add +1 meters to their Base Jump. Example: If the user has 43 Skill Points in Jump Good, their high jump is 18 meters. Falling: When the user deliberately falls a distance, the Jump Good skill can be used to increase the length of falling. Base Falling distance is 10 meters. For every 5 Skill Points the user has in Jump Good they add +2 meters to their Base Fall distance. Example: If the user has 43 Skill Points in Jump Good, they can fall at a distance of 26 meters without consequences.
High Water Jump: Normally Jumps incur a -50 penalty when making a high jump out of water.
Limit: Must learn from Universal TaiJutsu.
