It had been some time since you had walked among the lands. Having devoted most of your time to training, your sole company had been the glowing blue figure upon your shoulder. With armor clanking along with every step you took, you looked around your surroundings to see where it was you were. It was Kawa no Kuni, a land filled with rivers, old ruins, and golden meadows. Quite a beautiful location for a shining arch-angel such as yourself. You were not sure if others would arrive at this location to join you. But you did not mind, as you had your heart set out on the mysteries that this beautiful land held.

Loki had to get away from everything, Shiki was annoying her, and once again he had surrounded himself with a bunch or worthless masses, whom she had no interest in what so every. She needed to relax herself, so she would give herself a shower in the waterfalls in the land of rivers. The crashing waves, would cascaded off of her naked body. However, one would not be able to see much, and their was a large silky black mass the an fell around her. He staggering long hair flowed down from her hair and into the river it self, almost becoming one with the rivers flow. Loki's eyes peered through her hair as she sensed the presence of another being. Her hair quickly retreated, as it did so it's length would truly become noticeable, it stretched out over several 100 meters. It all burst up from the river bed and seemed to vanish as it wrapped itself around the woman and created clothing for her. [Loki and her attire]

You find yourself in the company of another, though not in the way you had intended. The female before you appeared to have been bathing and you stumbled upon her as such. However, her unusual abilities allowed her to cover her body before you had gazed upon it. Regardless, you averted your eyes until she was covered, attempting to give her the respect she deserves.

A statement came to you, requesting you to identify yourself. There were no kind words behind this statement. As such, you nodded before speaking.

"Am same` Fasase`kosaso"
"I am Raphael"

The words you spoke were celestial, translated by the glowing child upon your shoulder. His garb was simple. It was nothing more than a white gown. His eyes were not looking in any one direction as he was blind. His sole purpose was to translate your celestial speech for others to hear. 100 Ryo was found upon the ground. You were not sure where this money appeared, but you picked it up before giving attention back to the female before you.

"No need to translate, I speak Celestial..." Loki would respond speaking in Celestial herself. She could also speak a great deal many more languages, but that was neither here nor there. She sighed, "I am Loki, What brings you here Raphael" Loki looked down at her hand as she saw a book randomly appear in it. It seems with the presence of this man, the Mother Goddess was busy at work raining her blessings down on Loki once again. She tucked the book away, and then hopped away from the water fall. Loki was always happy to talk to new people. Although she could lose interest rather quickly, if they were dull individuals. However this one was already proving to be rather interesting.

You were told of the female's name, but more importantly, it was someone that also spoke the Celestial language. Seraph, your friendly companion, smiled a little, knowing that he was not needed to translate for the female before you. Instead, he just closed his eyes and appeared to rest.

The only thing that was mysterious, however, were the strange occurrences going through the area. A man walked by you and passed gas in a way that could not be described. So much so that he handed over a gas mask. It was then that you could see why. You looked to the female beside you.

"Xu me`sano xuamsu`ko kuel fasoelnasaku, koelxuve`fa.²"

¹: "I have not met one who speaks the Celestial Language aside from myself. It is interesting to hear. There is nothing specific that brings me to this location. Merely a chance to explore new areas. This land is filled with mysterious ruins and I wondered if I might stumble across one."
²: "We may wish to relocate, however."

Loki Snatched another book that appeared out of thin air, and simply tuck it away as well. She wasn't shocked by any of these events as she knew exactly what was going on. At least by her interruption of things, everything was making sense. She then raised her eyebrow and folded her arms, as Raphael began to speak once again. She shrugged her shoulder, and began to speak to him in Celestial once again, "Nothing, really special about it. If I am to commune with the Mother Goddess, I must at least have the decency to speak her tongue. Ruins huh? yeah why not that sound fun-ish." Loki basically had invited herself and began to follow after him after they began to leave the area, as some massive mortal, had just let one rip.

An orange gem, pulsating with energy appeared before you. Its contents and abilities were unknown, but you took it with you as you nodded toward the female. The two of you started your trek through the Land of Rivers. Legends stated that mysterious and hidden ruins lay within this land. You weren't sure if you would find any, but they were certainly an intriguing prospect. On your journey, you continued to converse with the female known as Loki.

¹"I am not sure where to search for these ruins. But it is still good to speak with another with my language. I am an arch-angel to the Gods, with my companion here being Seraph. He is blind, but he translates for those who do not speak the language of the Gods. At least, so long as I wish for him to do so."

"An Arch - angel? Of the Gods no less. Well that is interesting isn't it." Loki said to him with a smile on her face. "I am Loki Lefaye, a Witch and servant to the Mother Goddess. It is a pleasure you." Loki said finally formally introducing herself. Loki believed if he was indeed such a creature, then he would know of the LeFaye name, and connection her family had to the Mother Goddess. If he did in fact serve all of the Gods. Loki then looked off around her, and wondered out loud, "What need would you have for searching ruins? Is it just curiosity or are you searching for something specific? " She then looked down at her hand and noticed the spirit amber that had appeared in her palm. She tucked it away, and looked onward.

You listened to the full introduction of Loki LeFaye. The name instantly struck a chord with you, even more so when she mentioned the Mother Goddess. You were told to respect any and all Gods and Goddesses of the lands, no matter what they believed in, and thus were familiar with this one.

"I see. It is a pleasure to meet a servant of the Mother Goddess, even more so of the LeFaye name. That is a name I have not heard for some time."

You then looked around, not sure what to see but looking for something to stand out.

"It is merely curiosity. Ruins and temples speak of a time long past. I am curious to see what the Land has to offer."

You explained as a stack of books appears before you. It is an entire set of Creature Lore books, one per region. You are amazed at this find, unsure of what exactly you wished to do with it.

"Not much for creature hunting, but this is an interesting appearance."

You say, more to yourself but also so that Ms. LaFaye could hear.

"Hmm I see." Loki said, so he was just a curious soul was he? She could respect that as she was much the same. Most of her free time was spent searching the unknown. Most of the time it was in search for greater power, but she more other than not found pieces of the ancient and unknown. Speaking of which another comic book appeared in her hand. She sighed a bit as she really didn't have much use for 1 let alone two. However, she was sure if the Mother Goddess wished to bless her with such then their was indeed a reason. Lki tucked the book away, her clothing opening up as her hair parted and took hold of the book. Loki looked over to see the creature lore tome the angel had gotten.

"I have no problem with helping you for ruins for a time. But I must say if you seek knowledge of ancient times, of things long since lost. Then I suggest you pay a visit to my Library. It is filled with shelves upon shelves, of tomes and ancient oddities. I great deal of them I went through the trouble of collecting myself. And Even I haven't had the time to go through all of it. I'm sure it could keep you occupied for months, if you let it." Loki smiled. She had no problem sharing the knowledge she had gained with being outside of her coven. That is if they proved to be worthy of such knowledge, and so far this... Raphael, has done nothing to dissuade her for allowing him a look.

You listened to the words of your companion, a smile appearing on your face even though she is unable to see it. You would be happy to peruse over the readings she had to offer, but, in your opinion, nothing beat what was found within nature itself.

"I appreciate the offer, and I would love to accept it at some time. For now, I have my heart set on some sort of ancient building. I wish to see what it might have to offer."

As you wandered, you would see a number of broken down pillars starting to appear. Upon the ground lay a slip of paper with an address on it. It was for a land farther away from here and you wondered why the address was all the way out here. Regardless, you pointed toward the structures.

"We may be getting close to something."

Loki nodded in understanding. She knew the need to want to search for it herself. As she walked forward the ground beneath her would open up and she fell through. Before she reached the bottom were all the spikes where she began to float above them a she looked down at the spikes below her. One of the spikes was an actual pole arm. She reached down and plucked it out of the ground, and with it in hand she floated back up to the top of the pitfall, landing next to Raphael. She twirled the pole arm around and placed it on her back shoulders. She slouched over as she look forward, "Well lead on my Angelic Friend. Let's see what mysteries we can spy."

Another book comes across your path, this one describing an interesting ritual of deception. It is not something you particularly wish to use against another, but it is a book nonetheless. Books are common within this event, you feel. Your companion, after falling into a hole and then promptly coming back up, the hole disappearing behind her, tells you to move on. The happenings of this strange area are not explainable, but you nod in her direction.

"With any luck, we will find something of interest soon. Granted, the events going on right now do appear to be quite interesting in and of themselves."

You state, looking around. The trees around you are getting denser, but you do see another couple of remnants of buildings long past. You believe you are getting closer to finding something.

Loki continued to play with the pole arm that she had acquired having no real desire to keep it. For she could make such things rather easily, and of much better quality on her own. Her ears perked up when she heard Raphael talking about the strange happenings in the area. Loki smiled and said, "It is the The Great Reaping. Every few years the Mother Goddess blesses her children with gifts, in thanks for our service. She shares this blessing with everyone, as long as you are in the company of another." That was Loki's takes on the events. It seemed sound to her, she would think that the Mother Goddess would have told her otherwise, she talks so frequently about everything else.

"Although with most good things... wildly spirit roam... seeking to cause a bit of mischief. Turning some of those gifts in to Tricks. Usually it mostly all in good fun." Also usually she'd be dancing naked under a blood moon with her coven celebrating this time. But the sun was still high in the sky she had plenty of time to make it back.
