Role-Play Experience and/or Event: I've been Rping here for a little over a year. I am regularly active. I'm finding myself with a lot more free time then I'm used to and that bothers me. I'm looking for something to keep me busy.
Additional Comments: This is an attempt by me to get back and involved in the site to help people move their characters along. I debated going back out for assistant but I'm not sure I should put myself in a position like that again. Anyways. The site seems in need of active GM's I'd like to help out if allowed.
Chapter 1
Name: The ring of the everghoul
Rank: B-Rank
Plot: Stephanie Leguminous a rare artifact collector has not been seen in her usual local gatherings. As a prominent noblewoman in the land of thunder her presence has garnered some worry. Some of her neighboring villa owners have gone by recently to check on her, only to find all the window curtains covered and her doors locked. Outside they could smell the noxious aroma of rotting meat and decaying flesh. Fearing the worse they hired out someone to check in on her. The local police broke into her house and found the place swarming with ghouls. Fearing for their lives the police resealed the building and sent out requests for ninja to solve the matter.
(Progression will go as follows)
-Ninja will enter the building. Find 6-8 ghouls who are all non hostile. Continuing to search will find Stephanie "alive" but as a ghoul. Killing the random ghouls will simply have them re materialize around Stephanie endlessly.
-If Stephanie is killed the mission will end there but the thread will die as a poor ending. Minimal reward will be given. The village will contribute money to the ninja for putting their patron out of her misery and stopping the ghouls from appearing.
-If Stephanie is examined properly or the house is adequately searched it will reveal that Stephanie recently purchased an artifact known as the "ring of the everghoul" from a traveler. Upon putting it on grants the wearer immortality but turns the user into a ghoul after 30 days. (apparently she didn't believe that part.)
-The only way to rescue her from her fate is to have the ring removed, but the ring can only be removed if someone else takes ownership of it to transfer the curse OR if the wearer removes the ring inside a shrine located in the ancient ruins of Mezaborgah.
Location:
The land of Thunder on the Coast of the Tydeaus Sea. Humid yet cold this autumn. Strong westerly winds blow the smell of salty brine from the cold acres of marshlands where the party will assemble.
Also
The land of Fang. A small volcanic island on the island chain across the Tydeaus sea. The wind is currently blowing against you. Traveling here by boat will take at least 7 days.
Rules:
-Death enabled
-All NPC's including creatures will be controlled by the GM.
-All augments, items, currency, traits and headbands must be posted in the introduction.
-All Alignments and Class are welcome.
-If the player opts to wear the ring themselves they will have 30 IC days to return the ring or they will become a Ghoul.
-If Stephanie dies either on the journey or is killed by a player the mission is failed.
-Every IIC will cause the party to be delayed through an unexpected delay for 1 day.
-If a player is turned into a ghoul they become docile and are able to do nothing but meander around unless literally dragged by another player character. Ghouls must mindlessly follow the person who posses the ring of the everghoul.
-if a party member turns into a ghoul another party member may take the ring from them and incur the same post.
-Random events will be based on dice rolls and GM discretion.

60k Ryo if the cure is discovered and Stephanie is not killed
250k Ryo and a divine (masterworked) weapon from Stephanie's collection of artifacts if the curse is lifted.

Background: Stephanie Leguminous is a widow to a once very rich nobleman from the land of thunder. The whole marriage was arranged between two noble houses and when her husband passed away it left her with a large sum of money which she used to grow a large collection of rare objects. Her collection however expansive however was overshadowed by her growing age. She began to panic looking for any sort of ancient magic that might keep her alive. A wanderer sold her a ring that was to let her live forever. The rest of her story is up to you.

Plot: The party must now break the curse by traveling to Mezaborgah in the land of fang. The traveling must be RP'd out realistically. Players must show how they are providing for water and food, RP sleeping if needed.

Players from here may choose that they have done all they wish for this leg of the event. They may choose to take a B class mission reward of 30.000 Ryo for killing Stephanie or 60.000 Ryo for figuring out Stephanie's curse and refusing to break it themselves. They will also be given the option to continue this mission to lift the curse themselves but the difficulty we go up on the next leg of the event.
-Player at this point assembles a new party or continues with an existing party to break the curse. Random events will occur depending on the type of transportation used to travel.
