Soul Harvest Begins [0/30]
Rank: C, B
Skill: Taijutsu
Effect: The user spins like a top with their Scythe in both hands horizontally.
Special: --
Drawback: Uses both hands on the Scythe.
Description: The user begins the signature attack of the style, the Soul Harvest Begins, by spinning to increase the momentum of follow-up attacks. Without the other Soul Harvest techniques, this is simply a powerful spinning attack. The user simply spins in place by using some fancy footwork while keeping their Scythe horizontal. Since the Scythe is held in a horizontal position, strike range only occurs within that horizontal latitude. If an opponent or object is caught within the curve of the blade, slashing damage is preformed per movement used. Can be continuously preformed for a D rank amount of stamina per movement.
Variant: Continued B rank learning lets the uses perform this with only one hand rather than both.
Limit: Must learn from a master of the Kamashi Fighting Style.

Roughly at 7:00pm in the afternoon, Jinzu makes his daily trek to the small tavern that's on the outskirts of Sunagakure. Just before taking the turn down the alleyway leading to the tavern, he stops by the takoyaki stall run by an old man and his daughter. "Hi Jinzu, welcome back!" says the younger stall owner, clearly delighted to see him. "O-oh, where's Oji-san?" Jinzu nervously mutters. "He's out shopping for more ingredients!" she states with abnormal enthusiasm. Noticing that Jinzu's flustered, she speaks a little softer, "Having the usual?", relieved, Jinzu nods. "Two orders coming up!" Jinzu reaches into his pocket, pulling out 100 ryo, he offers it to the young girl. After a short time, "Here you go, enjoy Jinzu!" she says with a salesman's smile. After the transaction, Jinzu quickly gives a short bow to the girl, before speeding off.
Several minutes pass after purchasing the food when he reaches the tavern. A familiar melody played on a flute reaches Jinzu. <"Behind the tavern?"> he thinks to himself. Carrying the takoyaki, he jogs over to the source of the music, his meter long scythe sitting comfortably on his back. Once he peeks around the back of the tavern, he sees a large clearing. The ground consists of cracked concrete with sand that just barely seeps through, and it spans roughly 10 meters by 10 meters. Just as the flute stops playing, a familiar voice is heard, "Ah Jinzu, ready for a special session tonight?" a woman teases while sitting on a large boulder that's along the perimeter of the clearing. The woman is none other than his mentor Lilith, a Kamashimi master in her own right. Her appearance can often be misconstrued as intimidating, but in Jinzu's eyes, she's pretty laid back and somewhat lazy. "Master, if you keep teasing me, I'll feed this to the cats..." Jinzu says clearly annoyed, while loosely dangling the bag above the ground. "Okay okay, just give me the takoyaki!" she says with some desperation, as she learned through experience this was no bluff.
After greedily devouring her payment with tears of joy, she tosses the last wooden skewer. "Master, that's litter-" Jinzu is quickly cut off, "Okay! Now it's time for a special session." she'd say in-between giggles and sinister smiles. "Master..." Jinzu would say, clearly frustrated with the direction of this conversation. "No, no, this is a serious session!" she'd raise an index finger after the statement, "Now watch carefully." Jinzu is suddenly filled with anticipation and excitement at the thought of learning a new technique. Lilith leaps off the boulder into the center of the clearing. With her imposingly decorated scythe fitted on her back, she gives a facial expression so serious that it raises the hairs on Jinzu's neck. Unable to speak up, Jinzu just keeps watching her. Lilith suddenly becomes a blur, one that Jinzu can barely comprehend. <"She's...spinning?!"> he'd think to himself. Dust and fragments of concrete go flying everywhere, <"I can't see a thing!"> he thought, <"But...I have to keep looking!"> filled with determination, Jinzu puts as much focus into Lilith's movements as much as possible. <"She's holding her scythe?! But when did she...?"> as soon as he comes to the realization of what she's doing, her spin comes to a sudden halt.
Scorch marks from her incredible footwork make their mark on the ground. "M-master, that was incredible!" Jinzu says with rare enthusiasm. "Haha, it's only the first of many of my...techniques–" she says with a sly smile. "Master..." Jinzu's enthusiasm is immediately killed by another one of his master's antics. "Haha, anyway now it's time for you to learn!" she'd say just before she burps, clearly satisfied with the lesson's payment. "Now now, put your scythe on the ground and come over here." Jinzu nods as he takes his scythe in one hand and jabs the blade's tip in the exposed sand. "Okay Master, what do I do?" he'd inquire. "Okay, now start spinning!" Lilith would chuckle while making the statement. "Uh...just spin?" Jinzu would say, clearly unconvinced with her methods. "Yes! I'm serious this time, spin until you pass out." her voice was now slightly more serious. "Yes, Master!" Jinzu would say enthusiastically.
