Plot lines missions
These missions are repeatable but obviously don't start assassinating the same people. The idea of these missions is that there will be a noticeable impact on the village and the people involved, a failed assassination on one of the minor islands would result in negative effects, whereas liberating a slaver ship in one of the Parthenopeus Sea could be hailed as a great success. In short, these missions will be a great way to build your own personal reputation within the village and as such offer more than just money as a reward. With bespoke missions being created as a result of the mission outcome, cleaning up the loose ends, an attack on a high-level encampment, etc.
Slavery
The hidden Mist has relatively few laws or rather relatively laws that are enforced, instead, the Kraken Lord has opted for a far freer form of governance. One might expect that the crime rate in the village would have shot up under her rule, however, instead, it has arguably decreased, with the many Sea Lord fractions instead acting like organised crime agencies collecting protection money, selling drugs, etc. There is a crime however that even the great families avoid, you would find few people inside the village crazy enough to engage in slavery, and fewer still that would not turn upon them for fear of punishment. For they fear that the Mizukage could be waiting, watching from the shadows, or even in broad daylight, as have been the accounts of so-called witnesses. The Kraken Lord appears from nowhere to strike down the wrongdoers, even your own senses, your eyes and ears betray you, as befitting of one who bears the moniker Goddess of the Night.Name: Death to the slavers
Rank: All ranks (Pick the rank you can do)
IIC Length: ----
Difficulty: Varies based on the rank selected. Higher rank higher difficulty.
Description: Investigate incidents of slavery occurring within the village and the areas around it over which the village holds powers. The rate of slavery within the village will already be extremely low so you may have to venture further afield to find people stupid enough to engage in the act of enslaving other sentinel creatures. Once you find the slavers remain hidden and tail them if possible, as it is quite likely that they are working for other people. Higher ranked missions can take you into areas of Thale over which the hidden Mist officially has no power, but there is no escape from the Blood Mist.
Objective: Find and track slavers and their associates down.
Reward: Max per rank
Name: Death to the slavers II
Rank: All ranks (Pick the rank you can do)
IIC Length: ----
Difficulty: ----
Description: Those who would impeach on the freedom of the Hidden Mist must die, once tainted it is impossible to reform from this sickening practice. Depending on the social status of the person you are about to kill you might have to compile a level of evidence before carrying the assignment out—one cannot expect to assassinate a sea lord and just claim that they were a slaver. A degree of fore-planning will be required to kill certain slavers as they will likely have strongholds and the like that they have established on remote islands. In higher level areas where the hidden Mist holds no legal power, the attacks will have to be carried out without leaving any trace, nothing that could adversely affect the village should be left behind.
Objective: Kill the slavers.
Reward: Max per rank
