    Satu considered himself someone who with determination and a little faith could accomplish anything he set out to do. His determination was evident as he had made his way relatively unscathed to the temple of Debasso by way of his own fortitude. The desert of Kaze could be harsh but for Satu it was a mother figure. Traveling by night under those crystalline desert skies was something he missed. His return to that maternal sand sea's embrace would come one day as he knew in his heart there was much to be learned still at the temple. His training with Inoryu was not in vain and the genjutsu specialist was a close friend to Satu. His training was partly in admiration of Inoryu. This was what made Satu feel eccentric in his artistry of practicing chakra jutsu. 

    His main focus for now would be practicing his jumping capabilities. He was athletic and had endurance to spare and admittedly was quite strong for a medic. Satu enjoyed working out though and when sweat collected on his brow from the fruits of his efforts in training he would feel content and peace knowing he was improving himself. When the denizens of Debasso saw him again he would be a completely different person from who left with a stranger that day in the cover of nightfall. Satu had always wanted both a home and to travel and now he had both of these things thanks to his decision to leave that night. It was the best decision he ever made.

    Inoryu smiled at Satu as he made use of the third training area, he had followed him out of curiosity. He watched curiously as Satu leaped the hurdles in a sprint and cleared the high bar. He felt ecstatic to find that Satu wanted to work on his athleticism and was immediately resolved to join him. "These were the days," Inoryu thought as he reminisced of the days in the Ninja Academy. If there was ever a time he felt accepted by his peers, it was during those days where they focused on physical exercises. He wasn't the best at them, and he witnessed others with a much greater affinity for athletic exertion, but he thoroughly enjoyed it nonetheless. 

    "Good work, Satu! Keep it up!" Inoryu exclaimed joyously. He noted the hurdles and sprinted for them. While sprinting as hard as he could, he jumped a hurdle one after the other until he had cleared the length of the entire training area. With exhilarated breaths he turned to face the opposite direction. He gave himself about thirty seconds before initiating a second full on sprint. "One, two, three..." he counted as each hurdle was overcome. 

    Again at his starting point, he felt exhausted but content, "I saw that, Satu, great going!" he said in between a breath. After the sprint, he paced the front end of the training area until he caught his breath. After that brief moment had passed, he looked at the high jump with anticipation. He was almost ready to give it a shot. Suddenly, after Satu had reset the bar, he sprinted towards it, gathered his energy at the launching point and turned in the air hoping to defeat the height of the bar. Sadly, he came up short and it fell after colliding his shoulder. He laughed heartily as he replaced the bar.

    After his attempt, he became rather impressed with Satu's jumping capabilities. He had to lower the bar by a couple of meters to make it more to his capabilities. He jogged back six meters and sprinted towards the bar. As his speed reached the maximum just three meters from the bar he lowered his center of gravity and propelled upward as high as he could. He turned in the air to arch his back over the bar and clear it entirely. When last his feet passed over the bar without touching, he landed softly on the padding. 

    "Did you see that, Satu?" Inoryu asked. The height was lower than Satu's but it was his accomplishment nonetheless. He set the bar to where it had been previously so Satu could take his turn with it. Inoryu jogged in place as Satu did, ready for his next attempt. He placed the bar a small increment higher than ten meters and went back for a running start then turned to face the challenge. He would take a brief moment to focus and get in the zone. 

    Suddenly he was sprinting and gaining more speed as he went. When he closed in on just a few meters to the bar, he repeated the motion of lowering his center of gravity and propelling himself upward. He turned in the air to arch his back over the bar but the climax of his height wasn't enough to clear it. Inoryu's butt knocked the bar from the stand conspicuously and he landed on the padding. "Too ambitious?" he smiled as he replaced the bar for Satu.

    Satu would call out to Inoryu, Your are doing great too, try twisting a little more at the peak of your ascent. Satu would take a moment to catch his breathe and move the bar back to its position. He would make his way at a trot to the starting point and take his mark. He would again thrust off the marker and at the point of jumping he would reach the bar and feel his backside graze it slightly. The bar would stay in place but Satu would study what made for the shortened height of this attempt. He figured it could be fatigue. He would hydrate himself and throw his hands behind his head and breathe rhythmically to oxygenate his muscles.

    It was a nice day to be physically active as the temperature in Kusagakure was relatively tame at approximately 70 degrees with mild humidity. In contrast he could feel his own body regulating his temperature and he was beginning to cool off enough to attempt the high jump with a little more vigor. He would place his knees to his chest and swing them as well to limber himself before getting back at the starting position. Again he would leap at the point of take off and this time would clear the bar with ease and grace as he intended. Falling into the mat and laughing at his own success. He would stay laying on the mat a moment and catch his breathe before standing up and show a wave of pride at Inoryu. He would take a bow in zealousness if Inoryu saw him waving and jog back to the starting point to try again.

    "Hey you're getting pretty good," Inoryu commented after Satu took a bow. It was his turn now so he replaced the bar at a ten meter height. He jogged back to a distance of eight meters and turned to face the challenge. There was a mild, playful breeze that shook the bar in its place and when it became steady, Inoryu took off in a sprint. After closing to just a two meter distance, he lowered his center of gravity to bear all of his weight on his legs and propelled himself upward. He swung his shoulders up to add a small increment of height while twisting more elaborate from the launch as Satu suggested. He arched his back and watched his body clear the bar without any mishaps. He exclaimed with a laugh of accomplishment. He was clearly having a good time.

    Inoryu wondered after accomplishing the previous height if he should raise the bar slightly. He contemplated as Satu took a turn and decided that he would so he placed the bar at ten and a quarter meters. It was a wide additional margin but he was confident due to his last execution. He jogged to his starting place and faced the bar and took a brief moment to focus his concentration. It was as if he attained tunnel-vision due to his focus on the task at hand. Seeing nothing else but the challenge, he took off in a sprint. Executing the same maneuver as he approached, he launched himself in the air and turned almost exaggeratedly. His upper body had clear the bar but he began to lose altitude too quickly. The bar was struck off its post by his shins. Alas, improvement had been made and he would not get discouraged.

    The height of Inoryu's prior jump had increased marginally and he became more motivated with the training. He was also seeing Satu improve by literal leaps and bounds. When he was up, he replaced the bar at ten meters and a quarter. Taking the starting position, he faced the bar and focused on the task at hand. Suddenly he began sprinting, closing the distance as he gained speed until he was a mere two meters away from the bar. He propelled himself up and twisted in the air. "So far, so good," he thought as his upper body cleared. At the climax of his height, he looked as though he would clear the bar completely but it would be touched by his ankle. Yet the bar remained. With a smile he replaced the bar to Satu's standard and reflected on his technique.

    Inoryu was sure to completely clear the bar this time at a height of ten and a quarter meters. As his technique improved, so did his muscles become strengthened and improve. He set the bar and retreated back to the starting position. "Practice makes perfect," he thought as he initiated the sprint. When he reached full speed at a two meter distance from the bar, he leaped and turned to arch his back over the bar. The bar slid underneath him inconspicuously the entire length of his body. Before he knew it, he had landed on the padding with a hard 'thud' and praised himself for his accomplishment.

    Inoryu was ready to again raise the bar, this time to a height of eleven meters. It seemed much more challenging than when he initially began but he felt up to the task. He was inspired by Satu's progress and didn't want to fall behind. After setting the bar, he prepared for his jump with a few high jumps in place, already he could feel considerable improvements. He sprinted for the bar and executed the same technique, turning as he went and arching his back to clear the bar completely and land with a soft 'thud'. The fruits of his labor were beginning to show as he determined he could raise the bar much higher now.

    Inoryu would cheer Satu on as they both steadily improved their skill. Inoryu was up and he placed the bar higher up to the twelve meter mark and took his starting position eight meters away. He focused on the task at hand, imagining himself going through the motions and clearing the bar. Then, with a breath, he took off in full sprint. He steadily gained speed and just a couple of meters before the bar took a leap of faith. He turned in the air and arched his back. The climax looked appropriate and his upper body cleared the rack. He reached the apex of his jump as the bar passed beneath his waist and he lifted his legs higher. Somehow, he cleared the bar without touching it and landed on the padding. His progress was evident and it maintained his motivation.

    Inoryu decided he would give it one more shot before taking a break. He went for another leap of faith and raised the bar to 16 meters. The task appeared to challenge his aptitude but he trusted his body. He had learned in the Ninja Academy the way chakra interacts with the muscles and roughly calculated his progress as a taijutsu non-specialist. His chakra did have somewhat an affinity for athletic endeavors.

    The Chunin took a starting point eight meters away from the bar and looked at the bar with confidence. He took a second to focus his mind and sprinted suddenly. He swung his arms back and forth fully, correspondent and opposite to his feet. He dropped his center of gravity more quickly and launched himself upward while turning his back to the bar. He arched it and raised his feet and to his confidence, passed over the bar without touching it. After a 'thud' on the mat where his body collided, he took sat and wiped the sweat from his brow before grinning and giving Satu a thumbs-up. He would replace the bar for Satu and walk around the third training area to cool down.

    Satu turned his attention to a long stretch of open area on the training grounds. He would summon three halos and positioned them 5 meters apart. He would run at full speed toward them and leap through all three. Crashing into dirt he would scrape his arm and laugh about it. It meant nothing because how much fun this was beginning to become. He couldn't get up fast enough before he was sprinting back toward the halos to try again.

    Satu would up the ante on his attempt at leaping through the halos. He would minimize it down to two halos. He would rush the halos at full speed and long jump through landing on his feet. Upon landing he would turn his head back and thrust off his legs in the opposite direction back through the halos. He would then proceed to hand spring as he summoned a third halo vertically above his trajectory and twist 180 degrees almost landing on his feet but stifling over a bit.

    This was starting to get increasingly fun with the addition of the halos in practice. Satu would run it the opposite way and test his jumping into the long jump. The jump through the halo was executed flawlessly and then when Satu went to long jump through the other two he did not have the speed to make it clear through he would stumble and land on his back side and look at Inoryu bursting into laughter.

    Stepping off to the side. Satu would motion the three halos next to each other in row. He would take a moment to think about his approach. He would then burst forth and jump up in a twisting somersault. He would land only to pounce again into the same twisting somersault and upon the third jump in the last halo he would do a forward somersault and stick the landing. His arm was stained with blood from his earlier and had not noticed he hurt himself that bad.

    Satu placed his hand over his arm and a feint light shimmered incandescently over his scratch. His eye gave a twinkling of emerald effervescence. The wound was healed and he again took to tumbling in between the halos. Each back flip was precise and graceful. His twists whipped his frame in torrents of fluid motion as he sailed through the air. The light of the halos glowing off his glistening body's aerial grace. Satu was quite the acrobatic adept and he would find his affinity for jumping good was quite reliable.

    He would summon three more halos and place them atop the other three.  His eyes refracted the glow of the halos and his seemed ablaze with incandescent radiance. He would begin with a sprint like before and leap in the first halo then pounce off a handstand into the third. As he reached his peak each time the halos sitting on the top were motioned to match his peak height for each ascent. They were varied by scale but had a similar height on average between them. He motion a thumbs up at Inoryu to validate his efforts were improving.
