Faina walked down the dirty road getting dirt in-between her toes through her standard Shinobi shoes. Annoyed she gained an irritated face as she walked to the side and leaned against the milky-white colored building; she grabbed her left shoe she knocked out the dirt before repeating it with the other. Continuing she looked around in hopes of finding the shelter and maybe a few runaway animals. Sighing as she only saw the 1 to 2 story buildings of milky colors dotting around, some with those little things of the name Faina can’t put her hand on, marking that they are where stores stood.
Common now don’t fall asleep on me. Why don’t you go ask someone? Satan, her companion within her mind, complained which makes sense as he’s very goal oriented, but…Well why don’t you get off your lazy butt and look with me she scoffed. Ouch. Fine, it’s over there. Faina looked toward the building her star earrings gleaming in the 7AM-day light and spotted the building she was looking for her eyebrow twitched in aggravation at the sudden answer. Going over she heard a small sound and stopped and waited, then the sound cried out once more.
She peeked into an alleyway and saw a tiny coal kitten. Slowly approaching, the tiny creature scampered over behind a garbage dumpster. Faina speed up to the dumpster and slowed down around the corner. The tiny kitten looked up and hissed every once in a while as Faina kneeled down. Slowly and carefully she rested her hand on the kitten, softly petting it as to get it more comfortable with her.
Finally Faina picked up the kitten and walked out the alleyway and toward the shelter. Why are you so quiet? She inquired Nothing. Satan replied buoyantly.
