Location and background:
On the shores of the warm humid waters on the Island of Fang lies the Senri Lightning Dojo. The Dojo is an ornate multiple room facility made specifically by Kyoudo Shiki Senri to help other kyoudo and lightning users develop their skills and abilities under his tutelage. Accepting ninja and non ninja alike the Dojo will open its doors to anyone willing to learn. This dojo with few exceptions was built in the exact same likeness as the Senri Lightning Dojo.
The building boasts a perfected smithy, Perfected alchemy station, Perfected workshop, lodging quarters and bathrooms for students who wish to live in the Dojo. There are servants who cook and clean and work to keep the massive compound usable by the students. The whole compound was built to be as close to the sky as possible to allow the students easy access to the storm clouds above. While living in the Dojo is not a requirement many choose to in order to focus on their studies.
Surrounding the dojo, massive castle walls adorned by guard posts and sentry towers and snipers nests, the dojo itself is a literal fortress. Towering castle turrets shot up over the horizon keeping a watchful eye on the bay. Towering light houses and watch towers protect the dry dock and help call ships in to the surrounding area. Deep blue banners with sigils of a direwolf and a raven hung from the castle walls. Large spires stretched out to the sky past the cloud line revealing the skies and heavens with no fear of acclimate weather. A waterfall poured from the top of the mountain through a channel into the ocean below.
The Entrance to the dojo
To get to the inner courtyard of the dojo there is a pathway that one must walk to get to front door of the dojo. The steps are mostly ceremonial in nature and first year students are forbidden from entering or leaving the dojo except through the steps. Those that have earned their place may use one of the many pulley systems to pull themselves up the cliff face into the dojo itself. Supplies are brought up this way too or it would simply be unfeasible. Supplies are mostly also brought in via the massive dry dock.
After a new student successfully finds themselves at the top of the stairs they would eventually end up facing a massive dark iron door that was engraved with ornate runes and depictions of lightning. In common language above the door there is a steel engraving that simply read "Return With Honor" on both sides of the arches leading into the courtyard. While the doors can be opened with some moderate force. Anyone that has the kyoudo blood limit of any rank could move the massive doors effortlessly. This leads to the courtyard.
The Entrance Courtyard
A large open and spacious area used mostly for training is also one of the main connector points to the rest of the dojo. From here there are several places you could go depending on your cardinal direction. Directly to your right or westword direction after about 60 meters would be three massive walls that could be moved to enter the Dojo Master's Quarters. If you headed east you would end up towards the individual and group training rooms that were constantly being utilized by students.
The Dojo Masters Quarters:
The Dojo masters quarters are strictly off limits for all students unless they are summoned to the office by his will. The path to the office is blocked and held shut by 4 heavy steel barricades that are roughly 1 meter thick and can only be lifted with the power of a very powerful Kyoudo blood limit. Although more brutish tactics might break the doors down it would take nothing less then two consecutive S ranks of damage to break the doors down each.
(Kyoudo Blood Limit Requirements to open the door. Must be able to work on 15 meters, have the ability to overcome 50% of the targets field in a round and must be able to effect 5 items simultaneously.)
Behind the doors leads to the dojo masters office. It is a rather plain room yet richly decorated. Books, scrolls, parchment and vellum from several ages all stacked and stored neatly in piles and in book shelves. Dark wood wardrobes filled with furs, clothing and rare and powerful relics that the dojo master had procured over his life. Trophies from the monster hunters life and relics of his battles fought covered the room.
Training Rooms:
The Dojo contains 30 training rooms.
Three of the rooms are communal training rooms that can seat about 30 people.
The remaining four training rooms are private rooms for individuals or small groups to practice.
Teleportation rooms:
-Teleportation circle created to the land of fang. Created ooc date of July 21st 2017.
-Teleportation circle in front of the room to the land of fang. Created ooc date of July 21st 2017.
The Dojo Armory
The Dojo armory has many weapons that can be freely taken and stored for use. The Kyoudo drawing in their sword culture from the now all but extinct Sakurai clan. The dojo master has chosen to make the Itosen Blade the cultural weapon of the dojo. While training is not mandatory with the weapon it is highly encouraged and its mastery has become a status symbol. The Lightning Dojo's mission is to learn anything and everything about the nature of lightning. Honoring the clan that once held the title of masters of lightning the ceremonial Itosen blades are free for students of the dojo.
