Narin was crouched in the covers of the trees in the distance. The foliage hid his figure waiting as the morning sun rose. He was at the capital of Haha when he accepted the request. He needed the money to get new weapons and left immediately to handle the situation. He carried his buckler strapped to his left arm. A gladius sat on the small of his back which Narin had made sure was cleaned before this entire thing had started. He wore his typical black outfit. With little no to money Narin had lacked all the resources he needed. That was part of the reason he was quick to take this job it's not like they were anything to fear like trolls.
With Narin's high vantage point below the village allowed him to get a survey of the area. The village was not protected by walls of any sort. Men were stationed at the outskirts of the village next to large torches. Bunches of them so he wasn't able to make out clearly the numbers. The first thought that came to mind was to burn the entire village to the ground and pick them all off in the confusion. Sadly he was limited in trying to save the villagers and their home.
In the far back of the village was the port with a large ship. A large draw bridge with a few men coming on and off. Narin concluded to getting a closer look to better formulate his plan. Humans were none thing as fearsome as trolls not that he would let his guard down or something. "This is light for you." The image of his adoptive brother hugged Narin as it whispered the words into his ear with a playful voice. With a nod the illusion faded as the starting of the hunt began along with the ever rising sun.
