The Land of Fang was a cold, unforgiving place, naturally Kuro had gotten lost with his poor direction sense, having to ask some of the local farmers about the School, some where familiar with it, others not, some had even passed by several times, and finally now he was on the right trail, he was feeling surprisingly energetic after that long nap, he felt like he could hike for hours, the snowy mountains where nothing!!

It was a little foggy, but he could sort of make out a large construct out in the distance, or a group of constructs. "This place isnt at all like home, i wonder what its like in the winter, in the summer its already cold" He wasnt to bothered with the temperature though, his body was built to handle much harsher climates, and it was only a little chilly, approaching the school, he would see it in the center of a large fortress-like wall, protected by a moat with a lowered drawbridge "Is this it?...Cool"

He wasnt sure if this was the place, it fit the description, but he had yet to actually see it, he would try anyways, if it wasnt the place he would just ask the people inside, if he got in trouble...well that was fine to, he wasnt really afraid of anything, he could handle himself, stepping onto the drawbridge, he would feel his chakra starting to act up, it was as if it was automatically getting ready for any danger that might be ahead, his lack of trust for anything made it tough to talk to anyone calmly, he would growl a bit as he lifted his hand, ever since that practice he had done with Tamotsu a few days ago his Chakra had been all crazy, maybe he shouldnt have tried to alter it in the way he did.

*Flashback*

It was 8 O'clock in the morning, the Sunlight was shimmering gently through the cracks of the shades, and Kuro was stretching his limbs as he awoke from his slumber His father had promised to help him train that day, again with his chakra manipulation since Kuro thought his abilities in martial arts where good enough, he would yawn as his eyes blinked open, slowly adapting to the light as he looked around his room.

Looking to his desk, he saw his alarm clock sitting there, the pointers clearly pointing to 8:04 A.M. his eyes imediately widened at the sight "Eight...o'clock? Shit! Im late!" The boy would burst out of bed as he ran to change into his normal clothes, a black, sleeveless shirt and black trousers of the exact same colour, he would then grab his greatsword that was leaning on the bed before dashing out of his room and down the stairs quicker then he ever remembered going.

Upon reaching the bottom of the steps he still wasnt tired, he ran out the door to the back garden before bumping into Tamotsu, luckily he had slowed down quite a bit before the impact, or he wouldve been sent flying for sure "Oof!" Tamotsu gasped as he almost spit up his breakfast and dropped his coffee "Ah, Kuro, your late...again" He said this rather crossly as he crossed his arms "Yeah...heh, i know, sorry about that, are you still gonna teach me how to get better at using this stuff?"

Kuro was a little impatient to say the least, Tamotsu would simply sigh at this "Sure...But first maybe you should try at least finding out what it looks like" Kuro raised an eyebrow, what kind of question was that? "What the hell kind of an idiot doesnt know what Ninjutsu looks like?!" Tamotsu simply shrugged at the question, answering calmly "Well you dont apparently" His entire form would vanish, disappearing in a puff of smoke,
leaving Kuro to look around in clueless confusion.

"What? Where'd he go?" Kuro thought this question to himself, not wanting to let Tamotsu know how little of that he noticed, then he heard a loud zooming sound, like something large rocketing through the air at a distance, but getting closer, Kuro would jump out of the way at the last second as a massive slab of stone pierced into the ground where he was previously standing like a torpedo "What the hell? You trying to kill me or something!?"

He yelled over to Tamotsu, who came walking calmly out of the debris still with an open book in his hand which he was reading "Hey! Tamotsu! What the heck was tha-...Are you even paying attention?!" The man looked calmly up from his book at Kuro "Hmm?" closing it with one hand as he placed it back in his pocket "What did you say was so easy to do? That was a Shadow Clone Technique, you didnt even notice...didnt you say only an idiot couldnt tell what Ninjutsu looked like?"

Kuro would scratch his head a little nervously at the situation as his cheeks changed colour to a slight reddish colour "S-shut up, i never saw that jutsu before...besides, what the heck does that have to do with me enhancing my Ninjutsu anyways? Quit pulling my leg and just show me how already, your just wasting time" His tone contained a mix of emberrassment and a little annoyance, Tamotsu simply smiled, walking up to Kuro and extending his Hand, creating a tiny funnel of wind in his hand.

"Alright, alright, just listen closely, When you use Chakra to perform a Ninjutsu, that technique usually has a minimum of Chakra needed to perform it, regardless of the strength of whoever is using it, in school they probably taught you how using more chakra then required in any technique will make it easier to perform, but in most cases, will be wasted energy, it takes a great deal of mastery over your Chakra control, but the goal of this exercise is to teach you how to increase the base power of any Ninjutsu precisely by channeling more chakra into it, like this" As he said this, he would channel more chakra into the small funnel of wind, making it grow proportionately.

"Think of it as increasing the Rank of a Jutsu you already know, a B Rank Jutsu has a given amount of power, and normally requires a proportionate amount of Chakra, an A Rank Jutsu however, has more power, but requires more Chakra, thats exactly the reason why mastering this ability is so difficult, you essentially have to learn a technique all over again, starting from scratch, but given that you already know the tehcnique it shouldnt be as hard as actually learning it, and after a few tries itll hardly need hardly any concentration at all, the secret is control, if you can properly control your chakra, youll be using this technique without even having to think."

Tamotsu closed his hand into a fist, dispelling the small tornado-like funnel of air in his hand "Did you get that?" He asked this, and yet it was still kind of rhetorical, he was here helping Kuro and he wasnt going to explain all that again, Kuro simply scratched his head a bit confused "Uhh yeah, i think so, sounds super easy! c'mon Tamotsu give me something hard for a change!" Those words attempted to hide the truth that he wasnt that good at chakra control and they both knew it.

Tamotsu simply rolled his eyes, Kuros arrogance always seemed to get to him, especially since he was only a Genin and already thought so highly of himself, a Genin wasnt even an actual ninja, they where just rookies, barely even amatures, they thought the Academy was the test to become a ninja? No, the Chunin Exams where the real test, the Academy rooted out those who wherent willing to work hard, the Exams however rooted out the weak.

"Alright, so i have to learn a technique i already know again? Just sorta differently? Thats boring" The easiest Chakra related things he knew how to do where the basic manipulation of elements without the use of actual techniques, such abilities required minimal chakra and simply alowed the user to create soft breezes in the the case of Fuuton and sparks in the case of Katon and Raiton, nothing usefull in an actual fight, but it was a good base for training something like this.

Tamotsu would pluck a leaf off of a nearby tree, handing it to Kuro "Whats this for?" He asked, lifting it in the air and looking at the sun through it to see if it had any special chakra properties, Tamotsu would quickly clear his throat to get the boys attention "Dont bother, thats just a normal leaf, like i said the key to this exercise is chakra control, i want you to hold that leaf in your hand and cut it in half using your Wind Chakra, the only rule is you cant use an actual technique."

"How am i supposed to cut it in half without using a technique?" "The same way you did it with the piece of paper i gave you earlier, remember?" Kuro put his hand on his chin in thought, trying to remember "Oh yeah! Like that piece of paper you used to descover my elemental Nature? Then its easy!" Enthusiastically, he placed the paper between his two hands, concentrating his Wind Natured chakra through its center in the most perfect straight line he could manage.

Like it did in many Wind Techniques, the Chakra would form a makeshift blade of wind in the center of the palm of each of his hands, trying to cut into the leaf, but without being able to create anything to powerful without using hand seals, it was a very weak blade, not dull, just weak, the cutting power was barely enough to cut a normal sheet of paper, much less the stiff leaf Tamotsu had handed him.

Kuro would look at Tamotsu "Do you seriously expect me to believe that i, or anyone for that matter are able to cut through this without the use of hand seals? Quit pulling my leg, i get that your doing this as a favour, but do you have to waste my time? Cant you just give me an actual training exercise for once? Im serious about this and ive got nothing against goofing around now and then, but it wont help me get into the KMP!" Kuro had a rather deadpan expression as he said this, being serious about his training, but unsure if he was being japed or not.

That was a plausible possibility since Tamotsu didnt really have anything better to do with his time right now other then read, but mostly because older Shinobi often liked making fun of the newbies, but Tamotsu didnt answer, he simply reached up and grabbed another leaf off a tree, holding it between his hands just like Kuro had earlier, concentrating his Doton natured chakra into the leaf, it would quickly turn into Earth, falling away like a withered husk.

Kuros jaw almost dropped as he saw Tamotsu do this so easily, there truly was a noticeable gap between a Chunin and a Genin, Tamotsu simply let the last of the Earth slide from his hand and grabbed his book from his pocket, starting to read it again "Its like i said earlier, it just needs control, remember, if its really to weak, try doing it again, but using more chakra, that should strengthen it if you treat it like a higher Rank Ninjutsu, ill watch to see if your doing it properly" He then returned to his book, leaning on the tree he had plucked the leaves from.

With a sigh and an annoyed groan, Kuro would get back to his training, his mind strained as he would attempt to create a new blade, a wind blade, and without the use of a technique, the wind would swirl in his hand, until it gathered itself in tiny, incredibly thin cilider-like shape that would stretch out in a single direction, creatig a single thin, sharp blade of wind practically made of pure cutting power, this time however he would concentrate more chakra into the blade, making it swirl more wildly and cut more precisely.

He would then create another of equal strength in his second hand, he was about to cose them in on the leaf, but there was no need, the leaf had already split in half from the second blade, last time they where to dull, but sometimes more chakra really was the answer, Kuro looked in awe at the leaf that lay in pieces in his hand, but he wasnt satisfied, he wanted to cut it even more, concentrating chakra of even greater power in the palm of his hand, he would create many minor blades of air in his hand, they looked like cuts, but instead of cutting the object, they would simply cut the air.

Even as the blades formed themselves they already cut through the leaf, this time the multiple blades would shred the leaf into tiny pieces, which he would then allow to fall on the ground by turning his hand, looking up at Tamotsu with an annoying grin of a child "Looks like i did it already old man, am i the quickest learner or what?" His stupid smile still on his face, but then he remembered something "Hey! What time is it?" He would then dig around in his pocket before pulling out a watch, his eyes would widen at the time "Oh Man! Im really late! Sorry Tamotsu, i gotta go to the Leaf Tower, im going to the Land of Fang and i have to get going soon or its gonna be dark when i get there, seeya!"

With that, Kuro would jump over the fence, running towards the Leaf tower, Tamotsu simply looked up from his book for a few moments "Huh?" But the kid was already gone, even after asking to help him train, having been to caught up in his book to catch any of that, he simply shrugged, walking back into the house to continue his book indoors where it was more comfortable.

*End Flashback*

The Chakra would circulate through his hands and fingers like a current, it was sort of like lightning, he had no idea why it was acting up now of all times, he couldnt have his chakra running about all out of control like this whenever it happened, it was clear that his training from before was not complete, he would have to improvise with the time he had now to get his chakra stable again, walking into the dojo, he would look around, analyzing the courtyard, it was a very large area, perfect for training.

Maybe this was it, but looking around he didnt see anyone who seemed to be in charge, he simply shrugged, leaning against the fortress wall, it probably wasnt best to go snooping around just yet, he would simply wait here until he spotted someone that looked like staff or something similar, while he wated he would try to surpress his chakra for a few moments, but surpressing wasnt what this was about, after he regained his control, he would create another funnel of Wind in his hand, before dispelling it and creating another one, bigger this time, he had gotten a deeper understanding of this from thinking to himself on that ship, hopefully this would do the trick.

Description: The human body is but one more aspect of the earth itself. Applying the shape manipulation principals of Fluid Fabrication in a different way, the user is able to generate earthen armaments through their very body - converting raw chakra and minerals already in the body directly to more earth rather than using existing earth as a medium. This allows it to appear as if a weapon simply sprang into hand from nothing, useful in environments without ready access to raw earth such as deserts or metallic buildings. Creating too many weapons in this fashion leaves the user physically drained - more than three one- or two-handed weapons per Difficulty Class in a single day it will inflict the Fatigued status on the user. An additional weapon per Difficulty Class puts the user in the Exhausted condition, where even attempting another will render them Unconscious for eight hours. Up to five Light Weapons can be created per use of this technique, while Oversized weapons count as three.
Limit: Must know Fluid Fabrication

Ryutatsu had moved on to no longer using Earth as a medium and just creating it from nothing. The blades he created this way were still weak and short lived however. Ryutatsu none the less continued to practice. Kuro as he entered the main open area of the dojo would observe a white haired young boy sparring with a large man and a petite woman. They were going back and forth at incredible speeds using sword techniques.

As Kuro observed the three in their spar of intensity. An older gentleman who had been sitting in the shade of the gate approached Kuro
" Can I help you young man?" He spoke to the side as he two was watching the young master. Ryutatsu was showing an impressive display of sword work as he took on two obvious masters at their chosen styles. The white haired young man that was Ryutatsu was dressed in form fitting white chain mail and would form swords out of nothing.

When they would break he would simply create another. But every half a minute or so he would have to create another sword. The young man had been fighting the two for a while and it was obvious all three were very familiar with how they worked. Styles of prediction and cooperation were common with the three. Ryutatsu however showed skill that was beyond the two masters

He had his concentration on the Wind funnel at first, but as he further approached the dojo, would see three people sparring in the courtyard, clearly they where all swordsmen, the clashing of their blades was audible even from this far away, each moving so quickly that in some instances Kuro could hardly tell what was even going on, but it seemed to be a large man, a small woman, and a young boy.

The tiny tornado-like Wind in his hand would disperse, his attention shifting to the people sparring in the courtyard, at first it was hard to follow their movements but he was starting to pick it up, his Goutetsu teacher moved with a similar speed whenever he used shunshin, so Kuros eyes where at least somewhat trained to follow these sort of attacks, but it requiered concentration, he hadnt even noticed the older man approaching.

"Can i help you young man?"

He had never been called that before, it was usually just "kid", he hated being called kid, this was an improvement at least, he would try to speak to the man as calmly as he could "Is this the Sakurai Lightning Dojo? I heard of this place in the Land of Fire, you guys are supposed to teach swordsmanship right?" Kuro thought that maybe more formal speech was preferable in this situation, but he wasnt used to speaking like this "What exactly does it take for someone to be able to train here?"

But a discomfort far greater then the way he spoke was the large blade he carried on his back, he normally didnt have many issues carrying things like this around, but he had walked all the way from the docks to this place in the middle of the island, it wasnt ideal, but he would have to get used to it if he planned on using the huge blade to fight, grabbing the hilt of the weapon sheathed to his back, he would slowly unsheathe it.

Of course, it was remarkable that someone his age could wield it at all, carrying it across large distances for hours was one thing, but he could actually hold it fairly easily, he would make sure to not appear hostile as he drew his blade, simply holding it up in his hand so he could take a look at his grip, analyzing it and trying to find the best way to hold the sword, he would seem a bit distracted as he thought to himself "Hmm...unacceptable"

Holding the sword with one hand was great and all, but fighting was more then just slashing around with a weapon, the way those people would spar, gracefully moving their blades with deft speed and accuracy, no movements being wasted, every thrust of the blade being used to move their opponent right where they wanted and hit any openings that they created in their opponents, it was very different from Kuros understanding of Martial arts, he often simply used brute force to overwhelm his foes, that worked fine against people this level but it wasnt enough, after some thought he finally swallowed his pride and recognised that, it was why he was here in the first place.

"This is indeed, young man. Well if you want short training you can just use the facilities but you must pay for any damages. If you become a permanent Student, there is a application to fill out with Wolfren. I am Brycen by the way. " Brycen began to walk and hopefully lead the boy on a tour. This was all the while Ryutatsu started getting into a really intense exchange with Orlando and Emily. Their blades were hardly able to be seen at the speed they were going at.

Brycen walked right past the group without a trace of worry. Though he did give a meaningful glace at another guard and nodded to the gate. Apparently they take security seriously here. The training ground and ring that Ryutatsu was using was just one such area in this massive Fort. Brycen was actually leading Kuro towards one of the larger buildings, on the inside was a complete indoor training dojo with floor length mirrors for practicing forms. Ryutatsu often made use of this facility himself to make his movements with perfect accuracy.

"So Sakurai Dojo or Lighting Petal Dojo, is the personal Dojo of the young master Ryutatsu. His philosophy on sword work and fighting in general guides training. But between most of the staff here we cover most of the world's sword techniques. Depending on what you want to do we can accommodate." Surprisingly the fighting outside is fairly quiet as Ryutatsu dodged more blows than he blocked. When one of his swords would collapse he would just form another.

Gosei Ryuu: Ryusen (Dragon Strike)

Description: Picture The basis of Gosei Ryuu techniques. The user stands with their sword in the sheathe. Grabbing the handle of the sword near the Tsuba, the user thereafter steps forward with the front leg while unsheathing the blade in a horizontal attacking motion across the body. So swift is this technique that it is akin to a "flash", taking no movements to perform. When striking, the user is able to use air to slice enemies, focusing a current of wind, to the point where it takes on a sharp edge, which the user launches at foes. Upon sheathing the sword, the user must sacrifice a movement to do so. Depending on the user’s Class Level depends on the distance of the strike.
"D" Class - Travels 10 Meters
"C" Class - Travels 15 Meters
"B" Class - Travels 20 Meters
"A" Class - Travels 30 Meters

This place was huge, it mustve been a pain to build something this big, but why was it built this far out into the country? On a minor Island nation no less, since he had heard of it they probably got quite a few students from all across the Continent, but they would get even more if it was in a more accessible area, or maybe that was done on purpose, and the school was reserved only for those who were serious enough about swordsmanship to seek it out.

Back in the Land of Fire, the Dojos and Martial Arts Schools he had seen where more careful about their spars, but these guys seemed to really be duking it out, not that it was to easy to tell, but whatever it was, it wasnt allowed back home "This is indeed, young man. The man would then proceed to walk further into the facilities, motioning for Kuro to follow, with a shrug, the Leaf Ninja would strap his sword to his back, following Brycen through the training field, they passed straight through the field while the other people which Kuro assumed to be other students or staff of the school where still in the middle of their sparring, apparently not even caring about how fast they where darting from one end of the field to the other.

Kuro would be just as calm as the Older Hyuga in front of him, they seemed to know what they where doing, if they didnt they wouldve cut their own limbs off by now with that unholy speed of theirs, he only glanced back at the other man at the gate, these people didnt seem to trust easily, but it was only natural theyd be cautious about an outsider theyve never seen before, he would watch his step as well, one never knew exactly how untrusting another person could be.

Following the man into the facility, they would both come to a large room filled with mirrors, apparently to train and perfect Taijutsu, it was certainly a better idea then using video cameras to train, but it didnt really work to well for Kuro, most of his attacks, even his Taijutsu, was much more destructive of his surroundings then just a normal punch or kick, it was tough for a Kamyuja to hold back their strength in a world that wasnt built for them, it was probably best to leave this room be.

Kuro would scratch his head as he looked around, before turning his attention to Brycen at the realisation that he hadnt even introduced himself yet "Im a begginer in Buredono Kenseijin, from the Land of Fire, i was hoping to get better at it but sadly there arent any teachers in Konoha, so when i heard about a school in Fang, i decided to come here, my names Kuro by the way." 

Hopefully they had a teacher for him here, it seemed like there where teachers for numerous Sword Styles here, with any luck one of them would be able to teach him, if not, he would have to continue his search elsewhere, even if they couldnt teach him, perhaps they could tell him about someone who could.

Description: The human body is but one more aspect of the earth itself. Applying the shape manipulation principals of Fluid Fabrication in a different way, the user is able to generate earthen armaments through their very body - converting raw chakra and minerals already in the body directly to more earth rather than using existing earth as a medium. This allows it to appear as if a weapon simply sprang into hand from nothing, useful in environments without ready access to raw earth such as deserts or metallic buildings. Creating too many weapons in this fashion leaves the user physically drained - more than three one- or two-handed weapons per Difficulty Class in a single day it will inflict the Fatigued status on the user. An additional weapon per Difficulty Class puts the user in the Exhausted condition, where even attempting another will render them Unconscious for eight hours. Up to five Light Weapons can be created per use of this technique, while Oversized weapons count as three.

Ryutatsu caught that they had a newcomer an began to slow his spar. The three of them were so in tune with each other that they were able to communicate non verbally without a set language between them. It was speech by looks and minute gestures. This was just as yet another sword crumbled to dust. Ryutatsu frowned at where the blade was and with a small gesture hand another in his hand.

As Ryutatsu was doing that and calling a halt to his spar, Brycen was leading Kuro back out to the main courtyard. "Well Young man. You are in luck we have three masters in Sword Saint. Ryutatsu began a cool down exercise using slower but more precise movements to prepare for the next phase of his own training. Now that he wasn't a blur, it was obvious that Ryutatsu carried two blades of his own. One in an ordinary black sheath and the other in a ornate copper sheath that had etchings of storms and cherry blossoms. This was the young man for the televised Chunnin exams that happen not to long ago turned a distant target into confetti. Everytime his sword crumbled a new one formed in his hand without obvious movements or gestures.
