Nimue~ journey to fire country ((open to anyone))

Nimue gave a soft sigh as she pulled out her water skin and took a sip then poured some into her hand and offered it to Ryu. He lapped it up thankfully stoping every now and then to look around, his ears still perked awaiting for anyone stupid enough to try and attack.

Nimue smiled softly and gave a soft giggle ''Ryu its alright.. we are safe for the time being, you may relax'' she said softly patting her freind on his head and rupping behind his ears. Ryu did relax a bit and after a few minutes stood ready to continue on. Nimue got the hint and smiled as she continued to hum and began to walk again.

The sound of her voice bounced off of the rocks on the ground and trees nearby makeing things visible though her eyes could not see. She sweet humming became a sweet song as the sound of her words continued to make traveling a bit easier. The song was somewhat celtic sounding. Her song was about a far away land, a place that her father told her of. She sang about the green rolling hills that reached so far that they touched the blue sky, and how the rain fell to the ground carelessly and how she longed to feel that rain upon her cheeks.

As the day wore on her voice went back to a soft hum. The air began to cool and it was harder to feel the hot sun upon her back. She began to search for a place of refuge for the night, somewhere not to out in the open yet not to far off their path. Nimue began to move twards the trees figuring that there must be a hollow tree for her to sleep in for the night or at least some bushes that could give her shelter.

Akuma walked down the long wooded path, surrounded by trees. He silently walked, always making sure that he could defend himself if an enemy was following him. He yawned, rubbing his right eye with his fist. He'd been walking for hours, not stopping for a break but once. He decided to take a quick rest by a large tree, letting his guard down as he plopped down under the shade. He let out another yawn, still tired from his long journey. He surveyed the area, even though he had let his guard down slightly. He smiled, turning to a small squirrel who had scurried over to him. He gently pet the squirrel with his finger in between its ears and on its cheeks. He sighed with happiness, enjoying the little animals company.

He sat with the squirrel for a short while, letting it rest on his shoulder while he continued to survey the area for potential threats. "Hmmmm..." he thought to himself, "I must be paranoid." he chuckled slightly before turning, noticing the female and her wolf walking down towards him. He quickly stood up, gently putting the squirrel down. He zipped behind another tree before the woman had the chance to see him. "A woman, eh...? Hopefully she's not an enemy." he said, his fists clenched tight. "And that wolf..." he looked down at the ground.

He breathed as quietly as possible, not wanting to miss an opportunity to see the wolf. "Come on... just a few more feet..." he said to himself, quietly but with seriousness in his voice. He turned once more to see her, noticing her Amegakure headband (I'm unsure if she wears one or not, seeing as it does not say in your character submission). "Ah... one of my own." he smirked, tightening his headband.
