    Out skirts to the Hidden Cloud, surrounded by waterfalls. Scarlet sat with his sword, quietly channeling his chakra getting prepared to train for hours at a time. Listening to the swaying wind, let it fill his ears lost in his memories letting it calm him. The songs of his memory rang to him as he recalled his jutsu signs and the memories of his past. The last dance of the swaying wind sang as Scarlet got up.
    Walking around setting up targets and checking his equipment while thinking to himself, he hummed a melody. Slowly, one by one, the signs were hung as he made precise notes on the angles they were set in. Writing down what equipment he had access too. Quietly bringing into vision the terrain getting a feel for it. Analyzing the best trajectories he could do for his shuriken as he walks over, wondering how strong he will need in order to survive.
    He stood there as he would seem to run his left hand down over his right eye, as rage seemed to follow him. Cooling his mentality as he practiced hand signs, slowly trying to record them to muscle memory. Scarlet looked at the targets set up. Imagining they were lives of those he had abandoned and those who abandoned him. Only to look at his hands as he grabbed a shuriken and looked back at the targets. Muttering to himself “How many people will I trample on to free myself from these nightmares?”

Raiton – Kagidzume Sonyou (Thunder Style – Chirping Claw Overcome)

Skill: Ninjutsu
Effect: Allows the user to create a powerful lightning based chakra claw on one of the user’s arms. Spanning approximately ten meters, this claw is intended to either protect the user from any incoming attacks ‘A’ ranked or lower by piercing through them with rapid moving raiton chakra, or even attack by letting the claw extend up to fifty meters at lightning fast speeds, similar to a taimaster equal to the user’s rank, upon a raiton chakra chain. If a victim is ever held within the claw, they received massive damage as thousands of volts overtake them, most likely resulting in loss of consciousness, if the grasp is prolonged long enough. The claw can also explode upon the master’s command, spreading forth paralysis and blindness for twenty meters all around the blast site, as well as strong damage.
Special: ‘Handseals’
Drawback: Claw can only be fired in a straight line, and altering its travel path is a slow endeavor. While the release is fast, returning the chakra claw back to its original position is slow, less than a taijutsu nonspecialist equal to the user’s rank. Cannot make handseals (unless user knows one handed seals) during this as one hand is being completely occupied and taken over. Does not distinguish between friend or foe. Keeping the claw for extra turns costs the user a 'B' rank amount of chakra each turn.
Description: A very strong and useful technique for battering against barriers, defeating large enemies and proving a very big point, the Kagidzume allows the user to manipulate their thunder skills and produce a powerful claw on either of their arms, capable of swiping away at things, striking large objects, or even being released for a fixed distance. A staple technique for any warrior wishing to call themselves a raiton master.

James had trudged along on his way back home. He was thoroughly lost, and for a spell, thought he had ended up in a completely different country; but he was back now. James re-entered the city, passing by anbu on his way in. James felt like taking a little tour for sightseeing and traveled over to the waterfalls on the outskirts of the village. Trampling along the edge of the path a loose double bladed katana was attached to his back. It hung loosely and bounced around off his green hoodie.

James found himself at a clearing with another ninja. The ninja was visibly younger, but around the same height. The most remarkable feature was that he was a fellow Kyoudo, which was quite rare after the recent dojo debacle. “Hey kid, need help with learning our family jutsu? It took me a long time to figure most of them out, so I figure you’d might like some help.” James had only awakened his bloodline as he just graduated the academy so he was a slow learner; he didn’t want someone else to have to go through such a long and intense training process as he had to.

Opening his hands James weaved handseals in a rapid motion. The large amount of seals signifies that he was performing an extremely advanced technique. After a short amount of time the handseals were complete. A claw of electricity sprung forth on his right arm. James moved his arm around in a circular motion to show that it had full mobility. Then, James demonstrated the power by easily slicing through the stone around them. “Once you learn the fundamentals you can perform much more powerful jutsu like this one.”

Drawback: These abilities are almost required if the user wishes to become a capable fighter. Cannot be used at the same time with other techniques.

Description: A type of training meant to be combined with Sutatikku Nagare, it allows the user the capability of mobility and, at higher levels, the ability to perform other techniques, all while the user manipulates the charges of objects. The user's rank of this technique determines how mobile that they are allowed to be.

“C” - Allows the user to move at a running pace while controlling currents. Any intense physical combat or the use of other jutsu while controlling these effects will result in the user being unable to manipulate charges for the rest of the turn and for the duration of the jutsu that they were using.

“B” - Allows the user to fight in intense hand-to-hand combat while controlling currents. However, any use of jutsu while controlling the current effects will result in the user being unable to manipulate charges for the rest of the turn and for the duration of the jutsu they were using.

    Looked over with a slight look of interest and then at his hands as the flair of competition starts to burn. “And you are?” Shaking his head as he sees his reflection. “I don’t need help from someone else. . . I have it all under control” then mutters afterwards “I think.” To Scarlets surprise this is the first time someone has approached him, he looked at him with caution. Wondering what ulterior motives he has as he tried to copy the hand sign but to no avail.

    As he sat there quietly, he began to practice throwing his shireken at the targets. Slowly progressing his accuracy as time went on keeping an eye on the mysterious person. His thoughts ran on as if he was curious to what other jutsus there might be that he does not yet know about. Pondering this idea he stops and looks back. The guy still standing there to get a second look. Overlooking the fact he mentioned he was too a Kyoudo himself he wondered if he had a similar past as Scarlet and opened up a small fragment as he sat down in a trance.

    Scarlet looked at him as he sitting down did the hand signs for Sutatikku Nagare as he sat there and then looked up at him again. “What do you have to gain from teaching me?” Scarlet sat there stern with a hint of shyness in his voice. He worried over the possibilities of being used again. Having his body at the ready awaiting the response from the other Kyoudo.

“This is a ninja village, we all help each other get stronger because it’s like one big family. As a fellow kyoudo I know you probably were abandoned as a child aswell, and don’t have much experience with families yet, but everyone in this village is working together for a common purpose and cares about each other.” James grinned, “I also am already training myself so there isn’t much more work talking to you as I do it helps the time go by.” The cheer went out of James’ voice. “More importantly, you need to be strong if you want to survive, especially since we’ve already lost so many with the war with the Gale Empire and recent departure of a sizeable number of shinobi.”

James curved the blade around himself to block errant leaves in the wind. “I want you to focus on making you blood limit stronger. Our clan has a natural connection to the element of lightning, and some of the more advanced can even sense all electrostatics in the world around them. This is really helpful for sending metal which most allies and enemies have. A sort of natural defense mechanism against foes who try to sneak up on us. But first, you must hone your control of magnetism.” James lifted three kunai in the air while keeping his chakra claw active. “Three main things to work on would be the speed, strength, and size of your static field. You also can do multiple things by training your concentration.”

James reached his chakra claw arm out and decimated one of the waterfalls with the lightning claw reaching out with the speed of a taijutsu master and smashed into the rock. The waterfall began to collapse in on itself. “Lightning is a very strong offensive element, and being able to control the static field around us is one of the best gifts a Kyoudo possesses. You have the ability to become a master of lightning. “ James slowly retracted his claw to its original size before dismissing it into oblivion. “But before you can ever dream of attaining great skill you must master the fundamentals through intense training. Thus, our clan name, intensity.”

Scarlet sitting there almost speechless as the sound echoed through his brain, a small grin coming to his face. This was an opportunity for him to grow stronger than he is now. The ties to his past were strong, his determination for survival now at its peak as he slowly got up as if he weight almost nothing. Leaving the feeling of a calm summer breeze come through the area as he looked at the other ninja with determination. He stood there with acceptance for the offer as he shook his head. "Okay, okay" he said with a calming tone with a vibe that would give off the feeling as if he was going to give it his all. "I accpet your a offer, I hope to grow strong alone side a fellow Kyoudo.

His feeling of abandonment and other thoughts slowly faded as he closed his eyes, blacking out everything even the sun. Leaving only the soft breath of himself and the breeze floating by. He stood there like this for awhile trying to concentrate and find the peak of his words while progressively getting reaching deeper depths of focus. Reaching out as if to grasps the darkness itself he notices a streak of something, almost like a line of electricity but not yet in motion. For a split second he reached out only for it to fade away.

His eyes shot open and looked around to see if he noticed anything different as he looked over at the ninja once again. "What is your name" he asked honestly curious as if to be able to refer to him at a later date for other things. He looked around once more as he waived the hand signs to renew the Sutatikku Nagare. Mean while he looked at the guys sword and took a mild interest in it. "Any advice you can give me on, what to look for while training?" Scarlet asked with a keen adaptability and ready to take in any information to learn. He held out his hand and looked at it, then looked at James.

Raiton – Shishikyu Funzen (Thunder Style – Shocking Tiger’s Wrath)
Rank: A
Skill: Ninjutsu
Effect: Creates five large tigers comprised of pure raiton essence. Once birthed, they can move at decent speeds, and can defend the user form attacks, as well as attack others. A direct strike from these tigers renders the victim's body numb for a turn, and receiving a full blast from a kamikaze strike leaves the victim’s body numb for three turns. As a bonus, the user can hold the last handseal of the sequence as they look at their desired target, allowing them to order whatever remaining live tigers to converge all at once onto that target.
Special: ‘Handseals’ – Hold ‘tiger’ seal for convergence.
Drawback: Does not discriminate against friend or foe. When using the convergence attack, the user must hold the ‘tiger’ handseal until the tigers hit the target. If not, they will stop attacking them briefly and go back to whatever it is that they were doing. Amount of tigers striking victim during convergence does not stack shocking damage penalties; it merely ensures they'll hit with a higher percentage. Each tiger created costs a single 'C' rank of upkeep per turn. If handseal for convergence is not used, tigers attack enemy generally as best as they can, outside of the user's control.
Description: The Shishikyu technique allows the user to use their prowess in the raiton arts in order to create several tigers consisting purely of raiton energy. Dark blue and constantly shining, these tigers move fast to strike their target, and can swipe quickly as an attack. Only attacks that can disrupt their essence can hurt them, and they carry an ultimate attacks which involves the user holding a particular handseal so that they can all converge on a particular enemy, and hurt it greatly.

James hopped onto a tree. His hands went through a shorter set of seals than before, but it was still a very sizeable amount. “When you are training you have to make sure it’s for something useful. You most likely won’t be able to just sit still in the middle of a battle. That would give the enemy ample time to attack or retaliate. You must constantly be on the move, and give yourself the option to dodge while doing so.” Five large tigers emerged from lightning emenating from James’ hands.

The tigers began circling around the tree in a menacing manner. With what looked like the intention of attacking James, the one who created them. “Now if you watch you can see I am maintaining my static field even when dodging attacks by these tigers I created. I do so by segmenting part of my thought processes to keep one in charge of maintaining my movement, and the other in charge of maintaining my static field. It mostly takes practice and muscle memory, but becomes second nature once you get the hang of it.”

James demonstrated by hopping from tree to tree avoiding strikes by the big cats who surrounded him. Placing one foot in front of the other James deftly leapt lower and lower to give the tigers more opportunities to strike. Chakra pooled at his feet, James was using the tree walking technique to keep his balance all throughout. Dropping down to the area near where the roots met the ground James narrowly avoided a slash along his back by grabbing hold of a branch, and spinning around it like a top.

Scarlet still focused as he moves around. Slowly working on trying to keep control over Sutatikku Nagare while he is in motion. He follows and mimics similar movements to what James had shown him. Keeping his balance and increasing his pace as he was gaining more and more control over it. He looked back at James while he focused on the static electricity under his control.

Scarlet letting a few beads of sweat run down his face from the tension he is keeping up with starts to show. "This is a lot harder than I thought." He muttered to himself as he works around it. He lost focus for a split second and missed a branch. He fell for a bit before grasping the next branch to swing himself back up to where he was. Standing there shocked from the experience he was silent. Wiping the sweat away he looked back at Jame asking "Who taught you the path of the Kyoudo?"

Getting ready to move again he waved the signs to reactivate Sutatikku Nagare. Focusing on the center point while keeping tabs on James, he regained his pace. He started change the polarity of some of the previously thrown shuriken to return to his sword he had on his back. Pulling out his sword and watching the shuriken come back to him. As they returned to him, he put them away and replaces the long sword on his back.

James kept up his pace making sure to not go through any brush to difficult for the younger kyoudo to get through. It hadn’t been too long ago that James himself was the one having trouble keeping up with the other ninja. The younger ninja asked James where he learned the path of the Kyoudo, “Well, like most Kyoudo I was left at an orphanage when I was younger. Luckily our clan is well known in this village, they have plenty of records of jutsu that past kyoudo have been able to perform. Apart from that it’s mostly just natural instincts. I, myself, didn’t have any memory except how to perform the Stattiku Nagare when I got here.” James replied.

Thinking back on it James remembered a key figure in his growth as a kyoudo. “There was also a man who ‘trained me’ as he would probably call it. He ran a dojo of mostly kyoudo in cloud before he became disenfranchised and left the village. I had wandered in one day and he gave me an orb that trapped me in my own mind for a while claiming it would unlock my potential. I had to learn a lot of techniques just to survive my imagination, but overall I did end up coming out stronger now that I think of it.”

After giving his bit of exposition James focused more on the lightning tigers chasing them. The tigers weren’t trying to kill only trying to tag, but the younger ninja need not know that. James thought it a safer way to throw him into the fire than the life or death situation he had needlessly involved himself in. When the younger ninja stopped James proceeded to land next to him. The tigers halted their chase and circled the tree occasionally swatting up at the two. James smiled tilting his head to the side. “Oh, I almost forgot to give my name. It’s James Kyoudo Hyoushi. Pleased to meet you.”
