He had been taught Battojutsu and it was now time to learn something else. A new fighting style. Goken. A fighting style requiring great strength and speed, as well as mastering the opening of the eight chakra gates in the body to tap massive amounts of chakra at the cost of increasingly severe physical damage, and even death, to oneself. Yes, the ninja that taught Saron how to mold chakra spoke about that fighting style.
He opened a book containing info about Goken and searched for the stance. In it's page it had diagrams and explanations. He smiled and left the book open on top of a rock. He burned the images from the book into his mind, so as not to have to read the book every few seconds. The stance was pretty simple really, nothing complicated or philosophical. Saron brought his feet together in a V shape, keeping his center line steady and balanced. He tucked his right arm behind his back with a fist, and brought the left arm up to about waist level. He turned his left palm upward, sort of like a "come get it" gesture, and kept his shoulders even and relaxed. He spared a glance at the book to check his posture. Everything looked fine. He imagined coming up against some huge brawler looking for a fight. He jumped and threw a wide sweeping crescent kick to the imaginary opponent, knocking him clean on his back as he landed facing the opposite direction but still in the Goken stance.
